Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hey guys, So welcome back and happy Tuesday to you,
or remind you the double play Flyaway is alive. A
Chapel Roone is the artist of the day. You need
two Chapel Roone songs back to back, and then you
be Caller twenty five and you get this ridiculously fabulous
trip to Universal Orlando and the brand new what's it called,
the Epic something Epic Universe, epic Universe, which is opening

(00:22):
I think May twenty seconds, so you'll you'll have your
package in time to go see all this new stuff.
So again, back to back Chapel Roone songs, be Coller
twenty five. And I know a lot of people are
out there on the traffic this morning, so just be
paying attention. And again I'm not afraid to say it.
It's going to happen for sure before ten o'clock this morning.

Speaker 2 (00:41):
Right, Liz, I'm excited, So keep listening.

Speaker 1 (00:43):
Yeah, and we want to say happy birthday to my
wife Michelle. Oh yeah, yeah.

Speaker 3 (00:57):
Oh yeah. And then of course we can't forget oh
j's your wedding song.

Speaker 4 (01:12):
I thought you were gonna play Birthday Sex like a
big balloon song from Katy Perry what's that birthday from
Katie Perry?

Speaker 5 (01:19):
Yeah, birthday song? Yeah, birthday sex would be nice?

Speaker 3 (01:23):
Is that what you want? Bill? Oh?

Speaker 6 (01:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (01:27):
Hi, God bless Michelle.

Speaker 7 (01:30):
You know.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
I have to say that the only in the history
of me working on this show, the only positive candid
microphone I ever got from Billy was about Michelle. Every
other one is him screaming and ranting and swearing to
go up on the roof. But the only nice one
that I recorded was on Michelle.

Speaker 1 (01:50):
I love this woman. She knows how to love more
than it's just incredible. Like I don't live a minute
where I don't think she's thinking of me. First I know,
and she wakes up in the morning she's thinking of Well,
she's thinking of me.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
She's just a really, really perfect partner.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
Honey, you there, I am. I thought you may have
hung up by now.

Speaker 8 (02:16):
That was so sweet.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
Had you ever heard that before?

Speaker 8 (02:20):
I think once before I did. Yeah, I'm blushing at all.

Speaker 9 (02:25):
Oh yeah, you still love me?

Speaker 5 (02:27):
I don't know, I do.

Speaker 10 (02:28):
I do.

Speaker 8 (02:29):
Thank you for my note this morning.

Speaker 3 (02:31):
Okay, you left a note.

Speaker 2 (02:35):
You're so sweet.

Speaker 1 (02:37):
So do you have any plans for your big birthday?
We're not allowed to say what year. This is right,
that's rude.

Speaker 8 (02:42):
Yeah, well well whatever.

Speaker 1 (02:46):
Suffice it to say, just much younger than your husband.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
A decade or two.

Speaker 1 (02:54):
Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 8 (02:56):
Well pretty soon. Going to have coffee time on the couch. Oh,
good time, coppee time. And then ten o'clock I have
a massage.

Speaker 2 (03:05):
My mom's coming over.

Speaker 8 (03:06):
We're going to do lunch with her, dinner with the family,
and carrot cake.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
Back here there we go.

Speaker 5 (03:11):
Oh, that's right, I've got to pick up the carrot cake.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
Jennifer Lee.

Speaker 5 (03:16):
Jennifer Lee. You ever go to Boston Public Market?

Speaker 3 (03:18):
List?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
I do over by Fanuel Hall. It's a very cool place.
But Jennifer Lee has a place there and she specializes
in gluten free pastries and cakes and food and sandwiches
and things. So yeah, so I'll be dropping by to
pick up the cake.

Speaker 8 (03:33):
And guess who was the first person to text me this.

Speaker 1 (03:35):
Morning, Producer Riley.

Speaker 5 (03:41):
Yes, she just yeah, she just told me. She passed
me in the hall.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
She's a nice Yeah, she's so sweet.

Speaker 8 (03:50):
It's very sweet.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
So do you have any birthday wishes? You know, for
the big birthday today?

Speaker 8 (03:58):
No wishes, No, just to have a really nice, peaceful
day and my family. Birth is a really big It's
the day that you just kind of appreciate yourself and
appreciate your family and your life. And so that's what
I'm doing. That's enough.

Speaker 1 (04:13):
You're going to get a workout in.

Speaker 8 (04:16):
No, not today, Good for you.

Speaker 2 (04:19):
I take a break.

Speaker 9 (04:21):
Your coffee.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
Well that was kind of what you're going to get
a workout.

Speaker 11 (04:25):
Wink wink, Michelle, Michelle, you have no idea how much
he hates it when I goof around like.

Speaker 1 (04:41):
You know, Honey, you used to think I was funny.
Now you just give me an eye roll every time
I say something I think is funny.

Speaker 8 (04:47):
Because it's the same thing, new material.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
Well maybe, yeah. Well you know I'm coming home and
I'm bringing the cake and you're getting as and then
we're going out to dinner.

Speaker 8 (05:02):
Yes for lunch, Joe, don't forget that.

Speaker 5 (05:04):
All lunch too, lunch too. There we go.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
You know how much Billy loves food.

Speaker 5 (05:11):
I better get a workout in today. Well, honey, happy birthday,
I love you, Thank you, everybody.

Speaker 12 (05:16):
Happy birthday, Happy birthday, Michelle.

Speaker 3 (05:19):
Enjoy your massage.

Speaker 13 (05:20):
Excuse me, stretched out, lady, May I interest you in
a full relaxation machine.

Speaker 3 (05:27):
Massage oh boy, oh man. All right, so Chapel Roan
Artists of the day. If we play a song back
to back, you can win a trip to Universal Orlando.
And what do you know, we got Chapel right here.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Kids, one wait with Billy and Lisa's weird stories. All right,
we know I like a firm massage, okay, but then
there's two firm because a twenty six year old guy
in China almost died when he was getting a neck
massage that was so firm that they ripped an artery
leading to his brain and he had a stroke.

Speaker 14 (05:59):
You're massage in your net, you got to make sure
you avoid the interior area here.

Speaker 1 (06:03):
And the reason for.

Speaker 14 (06:04):
That is that you don't have much muscle in this area.
But then you have vessels such as the vein and
the crowded artery. It could cause dissection, meaning the artery
walls could dissect or rupture, and that could lead to
a stroke. And I've seen strokes before and patients who
have high velocity manipulation of their neck. And that's why
it's important to avoid maslashing the interior neck because that

(06:24):
could lead to a crowded dissection that could lead to
a stroke.

Speaker 3 (06:27):
Okay, do they do your neck?

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Yeah, they do my neck mine too.

Speaker 1 (06:30):
Where is the interior part of your neck?

Speaker 3 (06:33):
Well, anterior, wouldn't that be front?

Speaker 1 (06:36):
So I would think he's talking about the area right
below the ears, because that seems like a very.

Speaker 2 (06:40):
Thin I'm usually really tight in my neck.

Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (06:43):
She usually goes right in there.

Speaker 5 (06:45):
Yeah, so I, oh, you don't want a stroke.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
So actually this is actually current for me because I
started going to see a chiropractor and he asked me
if I wanted my neck cracked, and I said no,
And then people told me that it can be dangers. Yeah,
crack your neck. It can cause different things, he said.
It does happen, not as much as you think. But
I did have him cracked it the second time. It
wasn't that bad.

Speaker 9 (07:09):
It's scared, it's a little scared.

Speaker 2 (07:10):
It scares me.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
I've always worried about the chiropractor thing because they're snapping
you and adjusting you, and I always feel like you
always have to go in now for the rest of
your life to be readjusted.

Speaker 3 (07:20):
Yes, they get when.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
In fact, if they had just left you alone, you
wouldn't have to fact memories for you.

Speaker 12 (07:26):
The chiropractor it's funny Dustin there was a time and
here you weren't here, and he went off on chiropractors
off air.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
They're controversial. You gotta find good ones.

Speaker 9 (07:36):
Oh, they they're just steal your money. You go in
every week for nothing for what.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
My only complaint is how long they keep you in.
It's like one minute.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
Oh yeah, oh no. It's a great business to be
in to be a chiropractor. You can make a fortune
because you could have like forty to fifty patients a day. Yeah,
they're in and out. It's like a rotating door.

Speaker 3 (07:55):
What are they charging per patient?

Speaker 1 (07:57):
Most of it's covered by insurance, so they're just waiting
for the checks to come from the insurance company.

Speaker 9 (08:01):
Wow, what did you pay? Did you pay?

Speaker 3 (08:03):
I had a copey, but I don't know what they
they charged. I had a copay of like forty dollars.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
Yeah, I've never been to a chiroph really.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Well, there are other types now that don't totally snap
as they say or adjust you. And they use like
a little gadget.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Yeah, well they had a little pop gun thing.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
Yeah, it's a little pop gun gadget and they say
that works. Wonders and it's not done invasive over what
I don't know, what do I know?

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Okay, just be careful, massage in the neck. That's the
pint of this.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
All I can tell you is scientists are claiming to
have brought back the dire wolf. Startup Colossal Biosciences has
edited the DNA of a gray wolf to produce what
it says is a de extincted animal.

Speaker 5 (08:44):
Does it mean it's a dire wolf?

Speaker 15 (08:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (08:48):
Yeah. If you watch Game of Thrones, those giant wolves,
they've been extinct for thirteen thousand years in their.

Speaker 10 (08:54):
Back tonight hell, thirteen thousand years in the In a
first for science biotech company Colossal Bioscience, it says it
brought the extinct dire wolf back to life, a species
that hasn't walked the earth since the Stone Age.

Speaker 16 (09:11):
The direwolf is the first the extinct species.

Speaker 1 (09:15):
Well known from HBO's hit show Game of Thrones.

Speaker 10 (09:21):
ABC News given exclusive access into Colossal's lab in Dallas,
where scientists are using genes from gray wolves to create
dire wolves.

Speaker 16 (09:30):
We've taken a gray wolf genome, a gray wolf cell,
which is already genetically ninety nine point five percent identical
to dire wolves and we've edited those cells at multiple
places in its DNA sequence to contain the dire wolf
version of the DNA.

Speaker 1 (09:47):
That animal looks like a dire wolf. It will behave
like a dire wolf, and it is a dire wolf
now seven months old.

Speaker 10 (09:55):
Dire Wolves Romulus and Remus eating well and getting bigger
every day.

Speaker 3 (09:59):
Was there a call for that?

Speaker 7 (10:00):
Why?

Speaker 1 (10:02):
They weren't exactly the nicest in games? And you know
in a few years you're going to hear about them escaping.
And now the dire wolves are on the run.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Do you think they're really cool looking?

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Yeah, they really think they're cool.

Speaker 3 (10:14):
Oh they are cool for sure. But a little dangerous, yeah,
a little scary. They are bringing back the wooly mammoth too.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
By the way, well that was a Ben Mesick book.
Remember he brought it them. I t doctor in who
was working on this whole.

Speaker 12 (10:29):
Project pterodactyls next, Like, what are we doing Jurassic Park?

Speaker 1 (10:35):
No, I don't like it at all. I don't like it.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
It's like a species kind of like it was trying
to control other species.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Like there was a reason for it.

Speaker 3 (10:43):
Yeah, there was something to it. And whatever happened did
they actually bring back the wooly mammoth. I think I
think they are still working.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
I think they're still working. Don't they have.

Speaker 12 (10:50):
Other things to worry about besides bringing back And I
think that there.

Speaker 2 (10:54):
Was a purpose that it was. It had something to
do with the environment.

Speaker 1 (10:57):
I remember, yeah, haven't I always said that the animals
are coming to take back the land.

Speaker 7 (11:03):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (11:03):
Was George Church from from m I t or Harvard? Yeah,
he was the guy working.

Speaker 3 (11:08):
Well, this could be it, Bill, Yeah, dire wolves.

Speaker 1 (11:10):
Sharks are gonna grow little feet.

Speaker 5 (11:11):
Yeah, they're gonna come ashore, shark Nato.

Speaker 9 (11:14):
Billy, You're gonna go eaten by a pterodactyl. I can't wait.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
That would be the most ironic thing, is Billy gets
eaten by the animals when you predicted it for years. Yeah,
that's how it is.

Speaker 1 (11:24):
Oh man, we're coming up on entertainment. How about Minecraft Mayhem.
That's what's going on in movie theaters all over the
country right now, people in the theater watching Minecraft for
the movie, standing up, going nuts and bringing the cops in.
I've got that more stand by.

Speaker 17 (11:44):
It's kiss one Away said, and we're back with Philly
and Lisa in the morning.

Speaker 18 (11:49):
Kiss.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Wait Yeah, we're back, and don't forget chapelone is the
artist of the day. You're looking listening for two chapelone
songs in a row, you'd be caller twenty five, six, one, seven,
nine three one on aid. By the way, could happen
at any minute, quick talkback justin good.

Speaker 19 (12:05):
Morning, it's the Mayor of the South. Then did you
hear the latest? Elton and Madonna have made up? She
went to see him perform when he was on SNL
last weekend, so she went backstage. They locked eyes, and
Elton said to Madonna, forgive me. So that's the rule
for today. If you want to make amends with someone,

(12:28):
just go up to them and say, forgive me. Forgive me, Billy,
have a great day.

Speaker 3 (12:34):
All right, thank you, mister Mayor. I'll give it a shot.
I'll give it a shot. Here, Winnie, forgive me.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
But shut up now. The entertainment updates with a Billy
hopsas okay. The first three episodes of the new season
of The Handmaid's Tale season six are already available. Elizabeth
Moss is basically the lead in the Handmaid's Tale. She
was on Kimmel saying something really weird happened when season

(13:00):
five wrapped up.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
One thing I wanted, which was Offred's underwear, and set
that that I wore this specially designed and someone told
me that that someone already asked for it.

Speaker 6 (13:12):
Wait a minute, I know this is your custom underwear
that you wore, and some creep on the staff requested
it in writing, requested it, like I want Elizabeth's underpants.

Speaker 1 (13:29):
I'm going to take them home.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
I'm going to put them in storage for a.

Speaker 1 (13:32):
While, hopefully.

Speaker 2 (13:36):
I don't know who it was.

Speaker 1 (13:37):
I don't want to know, did you you don't? I
want to know, how do you.

Speaker 9 (13:41):
Work with these people?

Speaker 2 (13:43):
So what's with the underwear?

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Uh, there's a lot that goes on at Gillon, which
is the community where they live. It's like a separate
state or country or something. It's it's a very unusual series,
but I like it.

Speaker 2 (13:56):
It's streaming today and Hulu right.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Yeah. Three episodes were dropped on Hulu and more will
drop very soon. And I you know, someday we'll all
be especially designed underwork. I'm just saying so. So we're
two days removed from the season finale of The White
Lotus and Sam Nivola, who played Lachlan on the show

(14:20):
was on Fallon last night and asked if any of
the fan theories about the finale have been correct.

Speaker 9 (14:27):
Okay, so I.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
Don't read a lot of that stuff.

Speaker 18 (14:29):
But the one that I saw that was right is
the thing, the like rule of threes thing. I don't
know if anyone saw that, but someone posted a theory
that was, like, you know, Chelsea says in the beginning,
bad things come in threes, and there's the three kids
and the three women and all these threes. And then
I mean, am I allowed to not to say a spoiler?

Speaker 5 (14:48):
I think just at this time?

Speaker 3 (14:51):
Yeah, you get say it. Three people die?

Speaker 1 (14:53):
Yeah, what we do? And he was also asked about
the blender he was using a used and something was
up here, He is.

Speaker 5 (15:01):
Why would you make a shake out of a dirty blender? Okay,
so it's.

Speaker 18 (15:06):
Been about twelve hours and I've gotten this question probably
a thousand times already.

Speaker 20 (15:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (15:09):
Here's my answer is that I was I.

Speaker 18 (15:12):
Was expecting that Saxon had made a protein shake in it.

Speaker 1 (15:16):
I didn't know.

Speaker 18 (15:17):
I thought it was just leftover protein. So I'm like,
you know what, a little extra protein never hurt anybody?

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Least, do we know when and where the next season.

Speaker 4 (15:26):
So they're hinting that it might not be ocean, you know,
it might not be a beachfront resort like it has
been the last three seasons.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Yeah, sobe a big city could be or in the
mountains somewhere.

Speaker 5 (15:40):
I was thinking that, ooh, like Montana somewhere like that.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
Okay. Also streaming now on Netflix as a Red Sox
docu series. It's called The Clubhouse, and in it, Redziks
star Jaron Duran talks about almost committing suicide. In fact,
he talks right here.

Speaker 21 (15:56):
The more I talk about it and the more I
can help people, you know that it brings me a
piece of heart that I'm helping somebody else out. I've
actually had a lot of people reach out to me
and kind of let me know that, Like it's because
I opened up about it that they are starting to
talk about it. So always hearing from a message like that,
you know, it makes it worth it to keep going
and keep fighting.

Speaker 5 (16:14):
You know, coming forward could help a lot of people rights.

Speaker 1 (16:17):
Definitely, that's pretty cool stuff. How about Jalen Brown. You
will not believe how much he spends on being fit
and well.

Speaker 3 (16:28):
Check it out.

Speaker 20 (16:28):
Remember when Lebron came out, he was like, yeah, he
spend like a million dollars, it's probably close to that.
It's probably it's probably close, maybe not a million, probably
like somewhere in between five and it right like seven
hundred or something like that, But it's close to that,
just because I have my own team of doctors, because
you know, you got to go outside of some of
the stuff that you do. I got my own trainers
and stuff because the organizations only provide so much. But

(16:52):
knowing that I exert energy at a high level on
both ends. Being two hundred and forty pounds a lot,
it's a lot of warrantearing by you knee while playing
seventy games. I don't miss a lot of games.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
I read that Tom Brady spends upwards of one point
five million. I believe on his health and wellness and
keeping everything moving.

Speaker 3 (17:12):
And yeah, he said there, he's two forty. He put
on a lot of size this past offseason.

Speaker 2 (17:17):
And it makes sense though, like they have that's like
that's their job. Your body is there basically their job.

Speaker 3 (17:23):
And it's working for Jalen. Yeah, he was curtently worked
for Brady. He was putting out some cool videos working
out in the off season. I remember workouts underwater, lifting weights. Yeah.

Speaker 4 (17:31):
Well, if you look at like Tiger, woulds you look
at even like Djokovic the tennis player, Like again, they
spend like their.

Speaker 9 (17:37):
Body is their business.

Speaker 2 (17:38):
Totally.

Speaker 10 (17:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
When you think of over the last ten to fifteen,
maybe even twenty years, fitness has become so different in
the world of professional sports. And you mentioned Djokovic, but
I think about Tiger as a golfer. Before Tiger, there
were no golfers that were jacked and ripped on the
golf and.

Speaker 4 (17:52):
They all have personal chefs now too, like yet that
into the manutritionists.

Speaker 12 (17:57):
Yeah, these golfers were like sixty five year old and
kind of pelgy.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (18:01):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (18:02):
Like in women's tennis, I think Martina Nabertilova was the
first to got a fitness, a trainer and nutritionness and
was ripped and then everybody started doing it.

Speaker 12 (18:11):
It's if you had put like okay, Babe, Ruth was like, well,
was drunk every time.

Speaker 9 (18:19):
I know, It's just the way they've developed.

Speaker 12 (18:22):
I mean, players back then wouldn't hold a candle to somebody.

Speaker 1 (18:25):
Today.

Speaker 3 (18:25):
We look at Brady's longevity in the NFL because of
Alex Guerrero massages today. Your son Chris just got here.
We won't tell him. We just played that.

Speaker 1 (18:42):
No, hopefully he's between the car and the building and
he probably hear that. My son Chris is a partner
with Tom Brady, so we got to be careful what
we say when he could sit here. Uh, one of
you needs to explain the minecraft madness, the mayhem that's
going on with this movie. I know it took in
a ton of money, way more than they expected. What's
going on in.

Speaker 4 (19:02):
The It's like young boys and they're super excited about
the Jack Black character. And there was this one scene
where it's what is it, chicken Chicken jo jockey. Yeah,
so that's turned into a meme and they just all
yell at and scream it and they film themselves and
they post it on TikTok.

Speaker 2 (19:16):
But it's like the Aras Tour. I mean, this is
just the different version.

Speaker 4 (19:19):
Like when that movie came out, the girls were dancing
in the aisles and screaming and but.

Speaker 1 (19:25):
They weren't throwing food And.

Speaker 4 (19:26):
I don't think they were throwing food, but they were
being loud and I don't know. I think it's fine,
Like as long as no one's getting hurt and stuff
like that, but it's like it's nice to see them
all back at the movies and enjoying themselves.

Speaker 1 (19:37):
Yeah, cops have been called in and some Yeah, yeah,
that's not good, but wow. Adam Levine is teasing a
new song, a new album, and much likely a new
tour as well.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
And cannot divulge all the details.

Speaker 1 (19:51):
Okay, understood, but the details are basically roughly, there's a
song come in single coming at the end of the
month ish, and then yeah, I'm really excited about that's good.
I will take that.

Speaker 3 (20:02):
Album is coming.

Speaker 15 (20:04):
Album is coming over the summer, non specifically around the summertime, okay,
and that is very good. And then even more non specifically,
there is a tour coming in the fall in.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
The exactly the non specific I gotta tell you to
this day. Sunday Morning is still one of my favorite songs.

Speaker 9 (20:22):
It's it's such a good time.

Speaker 12 (20:24):
Early I mean, I know they're an iconic band, but
early Maroon five, oh my god, they had some gems.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
David Letterman show My Next Guest It needs no introduction,
starts the new season today and Kitlin Clark at the
first game.

Speaker 10 (20:37):
Who tought you to dribble because you started when we
were five years old.

Speaker 17 (20:42):
Honestly, I probably kind of taught myself, but like, I
always wanted to be like my older brother. And I
learned to ride my bike at maybe like three years
old without training wheels, maybe four years old, But that
was only because my older brother learned that day and
I was like, mom, Dad, take mine off right now,
I'm learning.

Speaker 1 (20:59):
And I did. And Dave Portnoy, now he lost two
hundred grand betting on Duke in March Madness, but he
lost a whole lot more on the market this week. Oh,
it's super viral.

Speaker 5 (21:09):
When I said I lost seven million dollars.

Speaker 3 (21:11):
I'd kill to be back to losing seven million dollars.
I haven't even looked if I.

Speaker 7 (21:17):
Had to guess them down in these last three days,
probably close to twenty.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
I don't know, like ten to fifteen percent of my
net worth poof.

Speaker 1 (21:26):
But I'm still here.

Speaker 3 (21:27):
That's the game.

Speaker 1 (21:29):
Am I crying?

Speaker 3 (21:30):
Am I like?

Speaker 1 (21:30):
Oh? Whoa is me?

Speaker 3 (21:31):
I wish I voted for.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Commlin No, so I wish this didn't go down like this?

Speaker 22 (21:36):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (21:37):
Am I in this to make money?

Speaker 22 (21:38):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (21:39):
God? He cracks me up.

Speaker 3 (21:40):
God, so his net worth is over two hundred million dollars.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Yeah, sure it is.

Speaker 15 (21:44):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (21:45):
I find him to be so entertaining.

Speaker 1 (21:47):
Me too, Me too. I haven't seen this Peaches for
a while.

Speaker 2 (21:49):
I haven't eat her.

Speaker 5 (21:51):
Used to parade her out all day every day.

Speaker 10 (21:53):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Dolly Parton is partnering with Chloe Kardashian coming out with
a line of jeans. Of course, they're called Joline's Love.
That is so cute.

Speaker 22 (22:06):
I think you should dress the way you feel good.
You need to find out who you are, and you
need to do it on purpose, and you need to
do it with purpose.

Speaker 1 (22:16):
And when you apply that to stall.

Speaker 22 (22:18):
You need to wear the clothes that's going to enhance
your goodness, your friendliness, your personality, and all the things
that you think you stand for. So I just say,
be you, Julie, Julie, Jolie Jolly. I'm a funny rescalator,
and I got good jeans too.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
So Chloe has this deal with Good American that's the
gene brand, and then the Dolly jeans that Joelines are
part of Good Americans product line.

Speaker 5 (22:48):
I gotta tell you, Dollie still looks good, she looks great.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
Absolutely a lot going on in sports, Florida Gators are
the national champions. They beat Houston last night, so it's
going to play the next tonight. Bruins play the Devils tonight.
Red Sox lost to the Blue Jays yesterday. They'll play
them again tonight. And Master's Golf yes this Thursday.

Speaker 4 (23:08):
Yeah, it starts the Green Jacket. So I know Tiger's
not playing. He has an injury. He usually likes to
play the tournament. That's like, even if he's not in contention,
people still like to see him. But Scotti, Scheffler, Rory McElroy,
they're all in contention.

Speaker 1 (23:22):
And coming up in minutes. My son Chris Costa will
join us in studio and talk about his partnership with
Tom Rady.

Speaker 3 (23:31):
Did he bring Tom with him?

Speaker 1 (23:33):
Nope, I don't see Tom he is. He's looking in
his phone. Not paying attention to us though, so maybe
he's communicating with.

Speaker 3 (23:39):
Maybe he's texting Tom.

Speaker 5 (23:41):
Maybe we brought.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
You by Dover Roug and dover Rog will be part
of your home for life, something you value, something special
in the house and in your life. Doverroug nadd Boston,
Burlington and don't forget online doverrug dot Com and there
you go.

Speaker 20 (23:57):
What up is Dalen Brown from the Boston Celtics. You're
listening to Billy and Lisa in the morning on Kiss
one Away. You're Billy and Lisa when we balling kiss.

Speaker 1 (24:07):
So the big story is still that Chapel Roon is
the artist of the day, and we have played one
Chapel Roone song at a time, but not too so
we've been kind of teasing you all morning.

Speaker 3 (24:15):
Yeah, we did it in the seven o'clock. We did
it in the eight o'clock and Billy is guaranteeing that
we will play back to back Chapel songs Chapel Roone
songs before ten a m. We have one more hour
to go, so you have to wait for that. In
the meantime, it's Billy's wife's birthday, Michelle. We called her
Wish your happy birthday. She has a busy day planned.

Speaker 8 (24:33):
Ten o'clock. I have a massage.

Speaker 1 (24:34):
Oh, my mom's coming home.

Speaker 8 (24:36):
We're going to do lunch with her, dinner with the family,
and carrot cake back here.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
Wow, very good. Yeah, it was really good. You said
some some loving things to your wife.

Speaker 13 (24:46):
Jared the welder here, that was so sweet listening to
Billy speaking to his wife. You can tell he loves
her so much. Feel inspired. So I just wanted to
call in and let Betsy the Plumber know. If you
guys can, let me do a shout out. I love you, honey,
You're such a sweetheart. Can't wait to see at work.
And I miss you so much. And I miss our
little baby Edith to such.

Speaker 10 (25:03):
A little cutie.

Speaker 1 (25:04):
But have a great day everyone, He's looking for Semonus points.

Speaker 3 (25:10):
Very cool and one of our weird stories was about
the return of the dire Wolf. So if you've watched
Game of Thrones, those giant wolves, they've been extinct for
thirteen thousand years and scientists have used their genes and
brought them back. The dire Wolves are back.

Speaker 15 (25:25):
This is Romulus, the newly resurrected dire Wolf. I hear
Lisa Donovan thinks I'm cool. I have one thing to
say now that I'm back.

Speaker 1 (25:36):
How you doing, Lisa Oh? From the Planet Fitness Kiss
one Away Studios. We're back with Villy and Lisa in
the morning. Kiss Hey, guys, so welcome back to It's
kind of like a family day on the Billy and
Lisa Morning Show. You know, we always have Lisa's son
Riley on. We've had maxon doing the weather and goofing

(25:58):
around with us in the studios. A little bit earlier,
I had my wife Michelle on it's her birthday. Happy birthday, Michelle.
And now my son Chris is back in studio because
we're looking to lock something up and we'll start right there.
Just justin, do you have the tape of my son

(26:18):
last time he was in it up?

Speaker 5 (26:21):
I'll dig it up and okay, yeah, rack it up, justin,
thank you, rack it up. Go ahead and pull that up.

Speaker 1 (26:28):
Okay, So my son, this is really an incredible story
when I tell you, how many people come up to
me and say, oh my god, I can't believe your
son Chris, what he's doing out Well, he's doing uh
and you know, I'm so proud. But so, during the pandemic,
you started a trading card company, you know, baseball cards,
football cards, you know sports cards, and that really grew

(26:48):
and then you started doing card shows, right, and then
you landed a partnership with Big Night Entertainment, right, and
you're still with Big Night Entertainment.

Speaker 5 (26:57):
Yeah. So we started Card Vault, yeah, or four and
a half years ago, opened our first store, than our
second store, than our third store, and have done that
with Randy, Ed Scott Tim my partners. Who are you know,
part of Big Night known Big Night. Yeah, yeah, and
yeah we're now on this crazy path and journey towards
global takeover.

Speaker 3 (27:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:18):
Now, now you're aware it's a little bit of fun
fact you may never have considered, but you're aware that
one of your partners, Randy, was your babysitter. That's correct. Yeah,
well the way something that never crossed my mind before
because he was a close family friend and he babysat you.
Well that's how this started. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (27:38):
I've known Randy my entire life, and we were on
the beach at the very beginning of the pandemic, and
I think it was August of twenty twenty and he,
you know, he and Ed at Big Night were closing
all their doors, they were shutting down all their venues
in their nightclubs. And I, on the other hand, was
still collecting cards since I was a kid, and cards

(27:59):
had gone kind of parabolic, and I was just kind
of telling him about it, just you know, bringing him
up to speed on everything I was doing. And he's like, oh,
you should start a business, and I was like, oh, yeah,
you know, I got a career. But that conversation quickly
turned into well, maybe we should start a business. And
that made sense to me, right big night, this powerhouse
with marketing and advertising and finance resources, and so that's

(28:22):
where it started.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Okay, so you ended up you had three retail stores
card vaults. Yes, one was at the TD Garden, one
at Patriot Place, and one out at Foxwoods.

Speaker 3 (28:31):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (28:31):
And push comes to shove, and all of a sudden
you're communicating with Michael Rubins, who owns Fanatics.

Speaker 5 (28:40):
Yeah so and used to own I think the Sixers
or something. Yeah, yeah, Michael Rubin, owner Fanatics. We are
one of the largest retailers for Fanatics in the US.
So Fanatics owns the company Tops, which most people are
familiar with, the big trading card manufacturer, and Michael and
Tom are extremely close.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
I'm sorry, now, by Tom you mean Tom Brady. Yes,
now he's call him T. Yeah. Yeah, okay, So now,
and I don't know how much we can give up,
but this weekend is a big weekend you because you
recently and I never thought I would say these words
to my son, but you just recently signed a full

(29:21):
on partnership with Tom Brady.

Speaker 3 (29:25):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (29:25):
Yeah, we sold Tom half the company and now your
company that was called card Vault is now called card
Vault by Tom Brady.

Speaker 3 (29:34):
That's right.

Speaker 1 (29:35):
Okay, yeah, which brings me to my next question.

Speaker 5 (29:38):
Perfect here we go, justin, do you have the tape?

Speaker 7 (29:41):
The Billy and Lisa's show will be the first broadcast
that Tom is on in the New England area.

Speaker 1 (29:47):
All right, all right, now that's right.

Speaker 3 (29:49):
Hold on, that's a good promise. Thank you, Chris. You're welcome, right,
but you.

Speaker 1 (29:53):
Won't catch me dead in the northeast.

Speaker 5 (29:56):
Oh well, you know there's cell phones these days.

Speaker 1 (30:00):
Okay, well, here's the deal. We're looking to lock something
up here yet because this weekend is a big weekend.

Speaker 5 (30:07):
So your new partnership with Tom Brady.

Speaker 1 (30:10):
Now your previous three stores, have they been changed to
card Vault by Tom Brady.

Speaker 5 (30:13):
All of our stores, all of our websites, our entire
business is now card Vault by Tom Brady.

Speaker 1 (30:18):
And by the way, there's one right in the TD
Garden entrance, you right by the escalator. So this weekend
you're opening your first brand new store at the American
Dream Mall in New Jersey.

Speaker 5 (30:32):
Right next to MetLife Stadium, second largest mall in the US,
third largest in the world.

Speaker 1 (30:36):
Okay, and the store is completely done, beautiful, and you're
opening the doors.

Speaker 5 (30:41):
I believe Friday of this week.

Speaker 1 (30:43):
That's correct. Now, I'm told little Bird told me maybe you.
Michael Strahan is broadcasting a Good Morning America from your store,
and he's going to have Tom Brady on Good Morning America.

Speaker 5 (30:55):
That is not fully locked in yet. We're working through
the option. It's Good Morning America, the Today Show. Well,
their schedules, you know, Michael's got vacation.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
There's a lot of moving pieces as well as Michael
coming for sure. It's not not long. Tom will be there,
Tom will one. Yeah, that's we talked to Tom last night. Okay,
oh yeah, Now did you mention your father at all when.

Speaker 5 (31:20):
You were the first thing I say, Tom, what's up buddy?
By the way, you know, I just want to make
sure you remember my dad.

Speaker 1 (31:27):
Okay, wait a minute, But at one point you did
mention that you were and he.

Speaker 5 (31:31):
Hey, he's a listener, was a listener of the show
when he lived in the Ara.

Speaker 9 (31:35):
Okay, you pretend to know who your dad was.

Speaker 5 (31:37):
No, he was a listener of the show for twenty years.

Speaker 1 (31:42):
Yeah, but when Tom and I hosted a couple of
fashion shows for breast cancer course. Yeah, so okay, so
you're going to be in the shop. Yeah right, this
is a big deal.

Speaker 5 (31:52):
I mean, there's a massive crescendo here. What's about to
happen to me?

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Yeah? So okay, So you're in the store, crowds people in,
thousands and thousands of people. One of the biggest malls
in America, just enormous. Tom Brady's there, he's the owner,
co owner with my son Glowing. Yeah, my oldest son,
co owner with Tom Bray. So you're all in this
little compact area the stor right, and I'm guessing there's

(32:21):
a phone nearby.

Speaker 5 (32:22):
Either Tom has his or you have yours.

Speaker 1 (32:25):
Sure, so what do you think the chances are you
can just by the way, Tom, can you do me
a solid? And I've got my dad on the phone.
He's live on the air back in Boston. If you
jump on the phone for a couple of minutes.

Speaker 5 (32:38):
So You'm gonna call on it six in the morning, No, No,
we can wait, we.

Speaker 2 (32:41):
Can write it could be after nine, Yeah, yeah, pick
a time.

Speaker 5 (32:44):
We'll make all right, we will make something work. I
will make sure that we have something specifically for the
Billy and Lisa program. Now on Friday, well wait forward
maybe yeah, moving forward for sure.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
And on Friday, oh yeah, because what time do you
expect Tom Ridy at the shop. Well, we've got a
lot going on in the shop, recording item, you know,
video pieces in the shop, and then with Tom with
Tom oh okay, and this in the morning.

Speaker 5 (33:09):
Yeah, we'll be there.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
He's in like the makeup chair or something. Just hand
him the phone, no better time.

Speaker 1 (33:14):
You see that all the time in movies, right, they're
in the makeup chair and they're on the fonce.

Speaker 3 (33:19):
Justin Kdad was a little bit disappointed in you one
time you called in. You were at an event in
New York and you said Travis Scott was right in
front of you setting up, and he was disappointed you
didn't go over and.

Speaker 5 (33:30):
You got a hand on the phone. Just attack him
and get mauled by his security.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
Okay, that's my dad wants me to put you on
the radio. That's the way it works, straight jacket. You've
got to ambush people. So if necessary, you're going to
have to ambush Tom. Just say in the middle of
a conversation, middle of a sentence is say, hey, Tom,
take the phone, it's my dad.

Speaker 5 (33:52):
He needs to talk to I don't like that. Everybody
clear the room. Tom needs to speak to the billion
LEASA program.

Speaker 4 (33:59):
I think just like handle it the way Chris is
going to handle it. He obviously has the relationship, and
he'll do it on the you know, in a very
respectful way.

Speaker 1 (34:06):
Best possible scenario, you bring him to a private room,
got it, and then we have a nice, solid.

Speaker 5 (34:13):
Forty five minutes FaceTime.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
You know what all we ask is three minutes.

Speaker 5 (34:17):
Okay, this it's funny that. So here's how this is developing.
Four days ago, in a personal conversation, it was sixty seconds.
Oh it's now become three minutes in a cleared room.

Speaker 1 (34:29):
Well, because we feel confident Tom's going to enjoy the conversation,
I agree. You know I'm going to have to say goodbye. Well,
I'm because he's going to want to keep talking. I'm concerned.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
The last time I brought an athlete in here, you
asked him if he had seen Tom naked in.

Speaker 1 (34:42):
The locker room. Oh? Yes, does Tom know about that?

Speaker 5 (34:45):
Well, I just I'm kind of prefacing how my concerns
are just your general behavior.

Speaker 3 (34:50):
Not only that. I also asked that same athlete that
day if he ever thinks about getting traded and like
moving his life. He got traded an hour later.

Speaker 5 (34:57):
Twelve minutes later, he was removed from the building.

Speaker 1 (35:00):
That was.

Speaker 9 (35:03):
Chris here like he's trying to build a long last.

Speaker 3 (35:06):
No no no, no, no, no no.

Speaker 1 (35:07):
You need to be Tim. You need a team show,
a team show.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
But I think let Chris handle it all.

Speaker 1 (35:13):
Team show here, listen.

Speaker 5 (35:14):
I'm gonna do everything I can to get Tom on
the show because I think it's important that he's on
this show, because you guys are my family.

Speaker 4 (35:22):
Yeah, and also Big Nights based in Boston's right, Yeah,
let me.

Speaker 1 (35:25):
Ask you another follow up? And okay, let me ask
you another follow up. My oldest child, okay, you know, like, yeah,
you're my seed. That's right.

Speaker 5 (35:34):
Yeah, first of its kind, quick follow up question. Sure,
this is great.

Speaker 1 (35:40):
What do you think it would do to our relationship
if I found out Tom called in some other show
in the city?

Speaker 3 (35:46):
What in what world.

Speaker 5 (35:49):
Is a severe sense of paranoia taking place?

Speaker 1 (35:53):
In what world?

Speaker 5 (35:55):
Under any circumstance would Tom call into another program as
my partners.

Speaker 3 (36:01):
Your dad's reaction when you go on the sports stations, it's.

Speaker 2 (36:03):
Not He's just making sure that that doesn't happen.

Speaker 3 (36:07):
He's not happy.

Speaker 1 (36:08):
Greg's a great guy. We love Greg Greg, Greg Greg.
He's not getting Tom before me.

Speaker 5 (36:14):
No, he is certainly no offense to Greg. But you're
getting Tom.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
Thank you.

Speaker 12 (36:18):
Can't we just save Tom for when he comes to
open another store here and we go to the opening.

Speaker 5 (36:22):
He's going to lose interest. But there's just an extreme
sense of concern here. In paranoia, yeah, justin you areried.

Speaker 3 (36:29):
A little bit. All he wants to know is what's
in it for me?

Speaker 1 (36:32):
That's all he wants aggressive, right turn.

Speaker 3 (36:39):
Yeah, it's so best, Chris.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
What you're saying is there's a chat. There's a chance.

Speaker 2 (36:46):
I think there's more than a chance.

Speaker 5 (36:48):
We have so many opportunities, let alone chances.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
It's true.

Speaker 1 (36:52):
Have you talk to Tom at all about the holidays?

Speaker 5 (36:58):
I mean, yeah, we got Easter coming discussed. You've got
you know, sunset cruises on the boat. Oh my god,
I totally said this morning. Yeah he's a boater he
used to be. Oh yeah, but yeah, if.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
He comes to town this summer, get the lines to
get the ball, get.

Speaker 5 (37:20):
Him, get him, you know, hoisting the dinghy up. This
is get the Tom. Switch the fenders from port to
starboard exactly. And if he's a real boater, he'll know
what I'm talking that's right, you know, right.

Speaker 3 (37:34):
Well, Friday morning we'll find out that's right. Thank you
Chris in advance.

Speaker 5 (37:37):
Friday morning. Yeah, it's actually Friday. The the grand opening event,
if I might plug myself here, is is going to
be at American Dream in New Jersey and it's going
to be from six to eight pm. So Tom will
be on stage with me. We'll be talking stories, We'll
be talking through Tom's collection. Tom will be giving doing

(37:58):
some giveaways, and then we're gonna cut the ribbon and
reveal the store to the world.

Speaker 9 (38:02):
Do you have direct line to him?

Speaker 5 (38:04):
Yeah, of course, he's my partner.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Can I mention something so cool?

Speaker 10 (38:08):
Though?

Speaker 4 (38:08):
When we had Jeff benedict On he wrote The Dynasty
last week for the book Club, Jeff told us we
didn't notice how much Tom is really into memorabilia, and
that's why this card Vault deal makes so much sense
for him.

Speaker 5 (38:21):
Tom is a legitimate collector. Yeah, and not only does
he and has he kept a lot of his own
things over the years, but now he's hunting a lot
of his own cards. Oh so col And he's got
all these different angles. He's collecting some of his favorite players.
He's got dual autographs of him and Joe Montana, who's
his favorite player growing up. He's got cards from each or.

(38:41):
He's hunting a one of one card from each super Bowl.
Maybe he's show him that, Babe Ruth card, I gave
you Sure that'll be the end of our partnership.

Speaker 1 (38:49):
Right card sells for sixteen million. I gave him a
baby Bruth card.

Speaker 5 (38:55):
He said dead. It's worth five bars. I'm just saying
I handed it back at Yeah.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
All right, well, Chris, just don't forget.

Speaker 7 (39:02):
Billy and Lisa's show will be the first broadcast that
Tom is on in the New England area.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
We'll talk to you Friday, Chris, thank you. Coming up
next talkback leftovers, some talkbacks that were left behind. We'll
hear your voice next, Billy.

Speaker 5 (39:19):
Let's squeeze in some talkback leftovers.

Speaker 3 (39:21):
Justin. It's been a crazy show man. I don't even
know how many we can get. So we spent so
much time with Chris there, but We'll look forward to
Friday and see if Chris can get Tom Brady on
the billion leads to show. That'll be exciting anyway. Our
old friend Mike Rockett is on vacation, sending pictures to
Billy and I of how beautiful it is where he is.
Where is he in the Virgin Island? John, Yeah, yeah,

(39:41):
good for him.

Speaker 21 (39:42):
Hey, buds, suffering down here in this eighty four degree
weather and eighty one degree temperture water.

Speaker 8 (39:49):
Wish you guys were here here.

Speaker 20 (39:52):
The weather up there is pretty bad.

Speaker 8 (39:53):
We'll be back in a few days. But in the
meantime I will definitely.

Speaker 7 (39:56):
Toast to you guys, thinking about you tomorrow.

Speaker 3 (39:59):
Billy, wh cop drink. I'm trying to jump out tomorrow
into the water. That's good. Thanks, Mike.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Wow, that sounds amazing.

Speaker 3 (40:06):
It looks really beautiful. He's a right now.

Speaker 1 (40:09):
It's an awesome trip. Yeah, well you go every year
after I went this year, you know, over the holiday
week vacation. But yeah, he's back down there, which is great.
It's beautiful in March too.

Speaker 3 (40:18):
Yeah, I've never been. Is that a good family vacation?

Speaker 1 (40:22):
Oh? Damn?

Speaker 2 (40:23):
Yeah, great, like you would love it there.

Speaker 9 (40:26):
The flights are so expensive to get down there.

Speaker 3 (40:28):
Thanks Winny, it's negative.
