something crazy is going on this weekend. A lot of
people may not know this, but I got my start
as a club dj.

I was a club dj some of the big nightclubs
in Boston as well as the North Shore, one of
which was called Rain. And for the life of me,
I can't remember what years these were.

I well, I have to say because I was in
on some of this stuff too, So it was like,
you know, two thousand and five, six seventy eight, like
around then.

So several weeks ago I got a call from the
Rain owner, Anthony Dakotis, and he said, Hey, what do
you think about a Rain Reunion, and I'm well, I got.

To be honest with you, I never really have thought
about it.

But when you think about it, you know, we are
a music show, and we are a music station, and
we are a music company, and we're constantly on top
of the latest music all the time, right every day.
But because we've always been about the music, it doesn't
hurt to turn back the clocks once in a while,
you know what I'm saying. Revisit some of the famous

eras in music, and I think Rain Nightlife was one
of them.

a few different in times she came and people loved
coming in and performing on the stage at Rain. So
the cover girls will perform live tomorrow night, and then

golfer Jose Louis Balister pede in a creek at the
Masters in the first round yesterday. He said he really
had to go, and he forgot where the bathrooms were,
so we just did it.

I completely forgot that we had those Russians from the
left of the tea bogs didn't really know where to go.
And since Jad had an issue around the again, I'm like, okay,
I'm just gonna sneak here in the river. Probably the
people would not see me that much. And then they
caught for me probably one of the clubs that I
really got today, like real loud. So that was that
was kind of funny. I mean, it was not embarrassing
at all for me. So if I had to do
it again, I would do it again.

that was at her school rub her feet. She didn't
think he was massaging him the right way, so she
massaged his arms and then made the statement like this

a girlfriend. The parents down and said, look, she's going

What her husband is rich and handsome, his family has

But when you think about it, you know, we are
a music show, and we are a music station, and
we are a music company, and we're constantly on top

So when I was younger, I managed to store and
my boyfriend at the time, who was in college, could
not seem to hang on to a part time job,
so I hired him from my stock room, and he
proceeded to act like I was his girlfriend at work
and call me babe and slap me on the butt
in front of the staff and show up hungover. So

I had to fire my then boyfriend who is my
now husband.

Oh so I came full circle.
Speaker 5 (30:24):
Yeah, right out.

They lasted.
Speaker 4 (30:28):
Lisa told a story about she her getting fired from
a bakery.

I was twenty Yeah, I got fired from a bakery.
Oh my gosh, Lisa.

My grandmother was also fired from a bakery.

But she was fired because she was overfilling.

The jelly donut.

Oh she felt bad there wasn't enough jelly, so she
would stuff him full.
Speaker 12 (30:51):
She fired. You're in good company.

Oh it's kind of like these bakers, like these men
just like so angry, Like I should never have firre.
You just should have said, okay, I get it. You
turned twenty one, like right back to we'll see you tomorrow,
like you're a hard working kid.

And then you are on the walk of shame outside
the muffin house.

I got I gotta say this.

newcomer kid out of Maine, opening for Gracie Abrams. He
will be at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway April
twenty third. I just listened to.
