It's time for Egan's weekly visit with NFL Films. Greg

Speaker 2 (01:05):
All right, here we go. Greg Cosell joining us is
weekly visit solo this time. Yeah, we kicked you off
the show. That was enough few milling last week, wasn't it, Greg?
It was just too much here. It was just too
much here, No, like I did.

Speaker 3 (01:18):
Yeah, that was a lot of good football talk last week.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Yeah. We uh, just so you know, we you know,
we ran half of it on Friday, A wee could
go today in the defense, and we did the offense
on Monday. And I I, you know, and I told
you this later. I just I that show and I say,
I guess show chose those two segments with you and
him and just let him kind of drive the bus
with you. Is some for me as a football fan,
maybe the most enjoyable stuff we do all year. And

(01:43):
I know we got great feedback from our listeners as
well as you guys just talked ball and it was
it was a ton of fun. So I appreciate you
doing that on the bye week.

Speaker 3 (01:50):
Oh no, it's awesome. It's hey and you know, I
can just talk ball. That's like, you know, probably too much,
but yeah, I love talking ball.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Well, let's get to it. Seahawks on the Commanders. It's
a late game. Greg won't watch it live because it's
past his bedtime at eight thirty on Sunday night. You'll
have to watch that on Monday morning. I assume, right,
that's how you work it out that on the East Coast.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
Yeah, yeah, that's you know, Yeah, that's because I'm usually
in the office on Monday by about five am. So
I usually don't do the Sunday night games because my
problem is if I start watching it, I become invested
and then I end up staying up. So I I
this year, I trained myself as hard as it was
ian not to even watch a second of it live

(02:29):
because I just know I'd become invested and then I'm done,
and then I sleep for four hours and that's no fun.
When it's one in the afternoon and all of a sudden,
like I wonder why I'm falling asleep.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
You know, that's no fun. I don't know how people
do it on the East Coast. I you know, we
there's no and there's no perfect solution. I mean, people
can plain about the hell late the World Series is
going right now, Well, if it starts earlier, people on
the West coast, there's the West Coast team. Evolf can't
watch it.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
You know.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
We went through that with the base propos right. The
last time the Seahawks played in the nation's capital was
two or three years years ago, and it was a
Monday night game because I covered that was the last
I think it was last year I was covering the team.
It was twenty twenty three Monday night game, you know,
five twenty five Pacific but eight thirty Eastern time, And
I remember walking around all day. We stayed at the

(03:13):
University of Maryland, Greg and I'm like, how do people
do this? You got like the game doesn't start till
eight thirty, and then we left and it was like
a desolate parking lot. It was crazy. I didn't like it,
I'll be honest with you. I didn't like it. Too
late for me too, And I wasn't even on that.
I was just on the East coast that one day.
But but here we go, new New and as in
that was a different team, a different Washington team, which
we'll get to in a second. Let me start first

(03:34):
with Seattle's defense and pick it up where we talked
about last week, and they're getting with us. They're getting
Witherspoon back this week, it appears, I think they're gonna
get Derek Hall back, and the Seahawks always kind of
do this to us. Once we're done you and I talking,
we'll find out the injury report, the updated one about
a half hour later, but just based on the practice
reports this week, no love, but Witherspoon back and maybe
Haul back as well. We talked to you and Hugh

(03:56):
and especially last week a lot about what they do
in that secondary, whether they're going to dime Nickel, what
have you. Emon worri has emerged. There's no doubt job
you know, Wolen and Witherspoon. So how do you kind
of see these pieces fitting because we haven't seen Witherspoon
on the field with Emon worriy except for a handful
of plays that very first game against San Francisco.

Speaker 3 (04:17):
Well, I don't know the answer to that, but I
here's how I'd answer it. Clearly, Mike McDonald had a
plan because he drafted m and Worry, so he knew
what his plan was when he drafted him. Now, it
hasn't been able to come to fruition yet because Witherspoon
hasn't played meaningful snaps with him and Worry. So I'm
very anxious and to see what they do because I personally,

(04:39):
and again I'm not charting every snap the way coaches do,
but I would find it hard to believe that they
would take Em and Worry off the field. Now, having
said that, does that do I think that means he
plays every single snap? Maybe not, but I would doubt
that that means he's going to play, you know, twenty
percent of the snaps. I mean, he is a really
rangey player, you know, just to make the comparison. In

(05:05):
the last three weeks, due to injury, the Baltimore Ravens
have moved Kyle Hamilton back to kind of that slot
overhang box player, and he has been a dominant, dominant
player the last three games. I'm sure people if they
watched the game the Thursday night game last night, they
probably saw that. But that's been the case the last
three games. And Em and Warry is a very similar

(05:28):
player stylistically, and I'm sure that's one reason Mike McDonald
drafted him. So I don't know how they're going to
do this. I mean, look, you've got Job, who's been
their best outside corner. You've got Woollen who you made
this point last week when we were when you and
I were talking, Guys that are six four, two fifteen,

(05:48):
two twenty with that kind of movement ability, you don't
just find them on every street corner. So you know, look,
it's they have the riches they are now it's up
to the coaching staff to figure out how to best
deploy them. But hey, far be it for me. I'm
being honest, Ian, I'm not going to say something, you know,
just to say something. I don't know what they're gonna do.

(06:08):
But you know, I can't believe Emin warr is coming
off the field for meaningful, meaningful snaps.

Speaker 2 (06:14):
The best thing about that is dan Quinn's probably thinking
the same thing, what are they gonna do?

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Right?

Speaker 3 (06:18):
Like you know, they know, you know, And like I said,
they had to know when they drafted him, because when
they drafted him, they still had Job, they still had Witherspoon,
and they still had Woolen, So they knew when they
drafted him what their planning was.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
Jaron Reid. I spoke to Jaron Reid on Wednesday. This week,
we're going to play that interview coming up after your
segment today Greg a little bit, And you know, I
just talked to him about, you know, where they are
as a defense and where they are, and much like
you and Hugh last week, he was effusive in his
praise for Byron Murphy. And I don't think you guys
mentioned this last week. I don't think it's any coincidence

(06:55):
that Byron Murphy's emergence this season in year two under
the two utelage of guys like Reid and you know,
big Kat Williams and Lawrence and those guys. I don't
think it's any Coincience's defense, especially up front, is number
one against the run. He has really emerged, hasn't he?

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Without question? And look, I loved his take coming out
of Texas. Last year was short circuited by injury, so
you didn't see that much of him. You didn't see
the flashes. This year, he's been really consistent. You know,
he's He's one of those guys I don't like the
use of pearl is very often, like you hear people say,
oh s freak ish, he's a But the point is
for that body type. He's got incredibly quick feet and

(07:34):
that's something that stood out when he was at Texas,
and that's something that is now showing up on film
as a seahawk. And because he's so low to the ground,
because he's got that stout body, he's not a long athlete,
he can play with great natural leverage and that's you
know something, and it fits really well with the west
rest of their front because you know, Williams is Leonard

(07:55):
Williams is tall, the Marcus Lawrence is big. You know,
Jaron Reid's not overly tall, but he's not short, so
you know, it kind of fits with the rest of
that defensive front. And I mean, I just I really
enjoy watching their defense. And like I think I said
last week, Mike McDonald certainly doesn't need me to say
whether he's doing a good job, but I just love

(08:17):
the way he's very opponent specific and does different things
depending on the nature of the opponent. You know, we
talked about this last week. Against Jacksonville, very little blitz,
almost all four man D line pressures and they dominated
up front. Then against Houston, he really amped up and
dialed up pressures and they had dominant moments in that game.
So I just love the fact that he's not beholden

(08:39):
to one specific way. This is the way we play
no matter what.

Speaker 2 (08:44):
Let's talk about their opponent this week. Jade Daniels is back.
He's going to start on Sunday, so that that, you know,
changes the dynamics of who they've been the last couple
of weeks. But but Greg ats a three to five team,
This Washington Commander's team that just that hasn't had that
same success as they had last season. Now, obviously having
you know, missing missing Daniels for a bit certainly hurts things.

(09:06):
But they're you know, the the rush offense is good,
at least on paper at one thirty seven point eight.
I'm trying to figure out how because it doesn't feel
like they have a number one running back unless it's
Crosskey Merritt. Their pass offense is Yeah, the pass offense
is near the bottom. You tell me, what are we
seeing on this on this offensive side of the football
for the Commanders.

Speaker 4 (09:23):
Yeah, you know.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
See to me, when I watch the tape, I almost
am surprised by their run game numbers. You know, I
think they've had a number of long runs, but I
don't I don't look at their run game and feel like,
and look, you know how it is. Every defense says, hey,
you got to stop the run first. So you know
that's the cliche, and obviously you have to. But this
is not a run game to me where I feel like,

(09:46):
oh man, we better come in. If we don't, you know,
if we don't make sure we stop that run, we're
in trouble. I don't see that run game like that.

Speaker 4 (09:52):
Now.

Speaker 3 (09:52):
The issue is Daniels obviously had a hamstring injury. Let's
assume he's one hundred percent. He's obviously a part of
the run game. He's certainly a very good scrambler. You've
got to figure out a way to deal with him,
whether it's using a spy, whether it's changing the nature
of your pass rush in those you know, pure pass
situations third down, second down, and long you've got to

(10:13):
figure out a way to make sure that he does
not beat you with his legs because that's something that's
a major part of his game and it can be
very morale breaking when he does it, particularly if it's
third down in long yardage. So you know, I think
that that's that's a big deal. Now from what I gather.
Terry McLaurin reinjured himself. I'm not sure he's going these

(10:35):
out right. He's out, he's out, He's.

Speaker 4 (10:37):
Going to be out. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (10:39):
They don't have a lot at the wide receiver position.
So you know, again it's an NFL game. There's no
way that coaches are going to sit in a meeting
and say, oh, Terry mclaurin's out there, wide receivers, aren't
that good. We're in great shape. There's no coach that
would ever say that, as you well know. But the
fact is they don't have an awful lot at the
position that in a sense scares you. But on the

(11:00):
other hand, they're still NFL players, so you know, it's
an offense to me that's kind of lacking a little
bit in what you really would like to have. And
you know, obviously they played Mariota for a number of
games and he's he struggled for the most part. To me,
it's really Daniels and you've got to make sure that
he does not beat you in those critical down and

(11:22):
distant situations.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
The great Coziel joining us thanks to Seattle sider. All right,
so let me the two guys that I got to
ask about before we moved to the other side of
the football. Now now we know Daniels is back, and
maybe it's based on the offensive line, on what they
can do blocking wise. They've given up twenty sacks a season.
I think a handful of those, a bunch of those
game at the hands of Marcus Mariota the last couple
of weeks. But they you know, two guys that jump out,
Zach ertz And and Deebo Samuel. How do they how

(11:46):
do they deploy those two guys?

Speaker 3 (11:49):
Yeah, well, artz Is He's he's one of those guys
that works the middle of the field, mostly in the short, short,
intermediate areas. He's not going to beat you over the top.
He's he's a great security for a quarterback. And I
think that Daniels will probably lean on him. He used
him a lot last year when he obviously had a
really good season, So you know, I think that he's

(12:11):
a critical piece now. Deebo Samuel could become a big
factor in this game for this reason. This is a
team right now that doesn't have a ton of receiver.
The run game is up and down. It's very uneven.
So now the question is, and I don't want to
use the word gimmick because Samuel it's not that he's
a gimmick, but he can be deployed in multiple ways.

(12:32):
And as you well know, because you know him from
being with the forty nine ers and how he was
deployed there, it makes me think that you're going to
see some of that this week, whether he's running the
football from the backfield, whether they use him and you know,
just to get the ball in his hands on screens.
Multiple ways you can get him the ball that are

(12:53):
different than just the normal conventional pass game. So he'd
be a player that I don't want to say i'd
be concerned, but I think you you have to understand that.
I think he's going to be used in different kinds
of ways.

Speaker 2 (13:07):
Great Cosille joining a sexus scale sider. Other side of
the football. A dan Quinn team that is in the
bottom third of almost every defensive statistical category this season.
What's going on over there?

Speaker 3 (13:18):
Yeah, this is you know, they're not a very good
pass rush team. Look, the fact is they play a
decent amount of dime and when they played dime, one
of their edge pass rushers is Frankie Luvu, and I
love Frankie Louvu, but I know a linebacker.

Speaker 2 (13:32):
Yes, let's go go. Kog's wazou guy, Let's go.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
Yeah. So, you know, he's a really good football player,
but you know, he's truly not a pass rusher Lattimore
has is to me, I know, he had a great
interception on Monday night with great great coverage and made
a great play, but I don't think he's quite the
player he once was. They're playing a rookie on the

(13:55):
other side of player I liked coming out of Ole
Miss a lot in Trey Amos, but he's a rookie.
I think they've kind of been trying to figure out
the safety position. Martin plays almost every snap. Other than that,
they've been mixing and matching, which tells you that they
are not one comfortable with what they have. And I
got to tell you, and he's probably going to be

(14:17):
a Hall of Famer and you know him well, but
I think Bobby Wagner is not the player he once was,
you know, to me, I don't want to sit here
and says a liability, but he's certainly not an impact
football player.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Greg you said that, and I think it's I'm glad
you brought that up. Because listen, he's based on his
resume and the number of times he's been a first
team All Pro and a couple of times second team
All Pro. Based on his resume, he is a first ballot,
no brainer, Hall of Famer gold jacket. That's a question
with that, and that's that's my question that I want
to go back though, because I think it's important to

(14:49):
you know, when people look back and they say, hey,
why did Seattle, you know, move on from Bobby Wagner
not once, but twice. Greg, I think you were telling
me three years ago, maybe that Bobby Wagner had he
lost Father times undefeated.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Yeah, Hey, funny you say that because father time catches
up to everybody, and you know I don't have my
forty inch vertical jump anymore, you know, no, no other
time catches up to everyone.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
It does, uh. Jackson Smith and jig but was named
the NFC Offensive Player of the Month for October and
has had.

Speaker 3 (15:23):
I mean the guy can't play out, you mean the
guy that can't play outside.

Speaker 2 (15:27):
I'll let you go ahead and riff on that, because
I know you've heard people say that and somebody somebody
my event.

Speaker 3 (15:33):
But we've talked about that.

Speaker 2 (15:34):
Enough but somebody told us that a few times.

Speaker 5 (15:37):
I've heard it.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
We've heard it from a certain guy from NFL Films
once or twice that that he can't and he has
proven that. The see I want to get that run
game going. You guys talked about it last week, you
and Hugh and Hugh whether it's using you know, more
of Ken Walker, what's going on?

Speaker 4 (15:52):
Uh?

Speaker 2 (15:52):
You know, Gray's Abel's been good, Bradford struggled at the
right guard position. Can you run against this team?

Speaker 3 (16:00):
I think he can? I think you know, it's funny
they will say, as most teams will, the Seahawks will
say the run game issues are our issue, not who
we're playing against. I guarantee they'll be saying that, and
they'll be working on it, because there's no question that
they want this run game to be much more of
a factor than it is. You know, we spoke last

(16:20):
week about Kenneth Walker's propensity to bounce. I don't know
if you can fix that. You know, at some point
it might be just who he is now. He's an
explosive back, and there's certainly times when he bounces that
he gains yards because he's got quickness to him he's
he's got that short area burst, he's got long enough
acceleration that he can hit the home run if need be.

(16:41):
But there are times that he doesn't gain the hard
yards and leave yards on the field. Again, we've talked
about Zach Sharbone. You know, I don't know, I'm just
gonna I don't know what to say. I mean, you know,
it has to be Walker if this run game is
to reach what they want to be. So we'll see

(17:01):
if it, you know, if he continues to improve, if
he continues to gain the hard, tough yards. He's not
a little man, and he does have natural power to him.
He just has an innate feel for you know, looking
you know, like like the term I always used when
he was drafted. He's a jazz musician. He's not a
classical pianist. He's looking for the improv.

Speaker 2 (17:23):
It is our good friend, great co sale. A couple
more moments, Let's go back to the passing game for
a second against Washington. Without a you know, without a
high end pass rush is we'll put it that way.
What's the secondary look like? And I think one of
the things that you guys discussed last week, you and
Hugh at some point. Listen, js End's on pace for
nineteen eighty nine in terms of yards, that would be
an NFL record for a single season. I mean, he's

(17:44):
on this this crazy pace. He's going to get to
a thousand yards sooner than later, within the next week
or two. He's putting up all these massive numbers. But
it's a lot of him and then a sprinkle here
of a Cooper Cup, sprinkle there of a Tory Horton.
Maybe we might see the odd you know, a Royal
or barn Er barner in the in the red zone.
Specifically passing games, Seattle's passing game, not including JSN against Washington,

(18:07):
what can it look like?

Speaker 3 (18:09):
Yeah, I would think that they would want the ball
spread around a little more, you know, Washington Lattimore now
has evolved, you know, later in his career, or he's
not really a matchup corner anymore. He plays one side,
Amos plays the other side. So I don't think you're
going to see anyone travel with Smith and Jigba. I
would think they'd want to get I would love to

(18:30):
see Arroyo involved more. Again, I don't know where he
is being a rookie. You know, there's obviously so many
factors as to why guys play and don't play when
they're rookies or you know, so I don't know the
answer to that, but he certainly has a vertical dimension
to his game and he can run. So you know,
they've been fortunate they've been able to live with Smith
and Jigba being such a focus. I haven't looked at

(18:54):
the stats, but I would not be surprised. Maybe Jamar Chase,
but if Smith and Jigma had the highest percentage of
targets for one receiver for a team in the league,
he's got to be certainly in the top three.

Speaker 4 (19:06):
But you know, you would.

Speaker 3 (19:08):
Think they want to spread it around more. But the
one thing I will say this Ian is over the
last three games, four games, I think you started to
see a lot more of that under center play action
that we expected when they hired Clint Kubiak. And I
think that that's something that is foundational to the way
Clint Kubiak wants to play.

Speaker 2 (19:29):
I would agree, and I know we discussed that a lot.
You guys discussed that a lot last week, and they're
kind of getting there, maybe getting their skis underneath them
a little bit. In terms of that offense. The Royal
thing is interesting because you know, Barner has emerged, especially
again as a red zone guy this year. He made
the big play at the end of the game against
Jackson like him and you know he's a tight end,
So it took him a year maybe to get to
that point. And you know, I almost look down. You know,

(19:51):
it feels like Pitts in Atlanta has evolved and become
kind of more of the player we thought he would
be over the last couple of years. Not everyone's going
to come in and be brought Bowers year one right
in the NFL that position. I don't know. Maybe it
just takes a while, I think, because there's something there
with the Royal, Right, that's why you say you want
to see more. There's something there.

Speaker 3 (20:08):
Well, he's big, he can run, you know, not a
lot of guys have that vertical dimension at tight end
the way he does. And I'm not sitting here suggesting
that he's top three in the league. I'm just talking
about the traits and the skill set. So again, a
lot of that could be a function if he's still
learning how to play as a rookie. I mean that
takes time. There's so much more for every position then

(20:28):
just hey, let's go out and play. You know, there's
so much more involved in that, and you know it
could be taking don't forget. Other than his last year
at the University of Miami, he was injured quite a
bit in college. So he came into the league to
the Seahawks this year not having played a ton of
football in college. So he's probably even a little further
behind than your average guy.

Speaker 2 (20:49):
Yeah, and I think we'll see that, Hopefully we'll see
that continued development involvement of him as well.

Speaker 4 (20:54):
Well.

Speaker 2 (20:55):
Good stuff, Greg. By the way, we anytime we get
a little Frankie Luvu talking, it's a good day.

Speaker 6 (20:59):
Right, one of my favorites, one of my favorites. I
covered his entire career.

Speaker 3 (21:04):
Yeah, he's been such a good player. I really like
Frankie Luvu. But you know, he's not an edge pass rusher,
and that's the way he's been deployed the last couple
of years in their dying packages, and they played dying
pretty much every third down.

Speaker 2 (21:18):
Yeah, it's is he more of a mic?

Speaker 4 (21:21):
Do you think.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
I think he's now? I think he's a really good athlete.
He's probably to me, he's more of a will type,
the guy who the guy you want to move. I mean,
he's a really good athlete.

Speaker 7 (21:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (21:34):
I think he's been for the last couple of years
one of the better linebackers in the league because he's
very multi dimensional.

Speaker 4 (21:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (21:41):
I just wondered just with Bobby. I mean, who knows
what Bob I mean, Bobby, Bobby might play another two
or three years. Who knows, uh, you know what they're
gonna do at that point. But that's a that's a Washington.

Speaker 3 (21:50):
Unless the league retires him. Sometimes that happened. I remember
talking to a GM one hundred years ago. I can't
remember what player it was, and we were talking to
a guy who was a pretty good player, and he said, oh,
this guy's kind of lost it. And I said, oh, you know,
is he going to be back or will he be
with someone else? And he said to me, Nah, the
league's going to retire him. And that's exactly what happened.
And I can't remember the player, but yeah, he said

(22:10):
the league is going to retire him, and I thought
that was a great way to say it.

Speaker 2 (22:14):
The league employs a guy by the name we just
referred to his father time, So that happens a lot
the way. Okay, great, great stuff. As always, we appreciate it.
We'll watch you on the ESPN Matchup Show this weekend.
You got the tie on. You're looking good already, my friend,
looking good out there, so we'll check in with you.
Watch a show.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
Yeah, there's a film piece I did in the show
this week. Guy's on Tyo Catt a sack on against
the Texans. It was beautifully design and structured, so you
make sure people watch it.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
I'll be honest with you. All due respect to tyle Cott.
I didn't have him as being on the ESPN Matchup
Show at the start of the season, so that's good.

Speaker 3 (22:47):
Well, you know, don't forget because of Julian Love. He's
been playing a lot of snaps. He's been playing almost
every snap, and again I'm not charting every play, but
it doesn't seem to me like he's a liability.

Speaker 2 (22:57):
He'll be playing again this weekend. Greg, thank you so much.
We'll talk to you next week.

Speaker 3 (23:00):
All right, thanks appreciating it.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Greg, Cosaille brought you by Seattle Cider, will take a
break come back. We mentioned it. Jaron Reid coming up
Seahawk defensive tackle next. All right, welcome back in sports
Radio ninety three point three KJRFM, he internats with you,
and man, I got to do this at least once

(23:24):
or twice a year. I make my way out here
to the Virginia Mason Athletics Center because I want to
talk to this guy, big number ninety, Jared Reid is here.
How are you?

Speaker 4 (23:32):
It's very good. Good, it's good to see you.

Speaker 2 (23:36):
Hey. So, how how was the bye week? I mean,
you're a vet. You had to do something fun, right, Thanks?

Speaker 4 (23:41):
I did. I didn't do too much this time. I
told them people, I think we can.

Speaker 2 (23:47):
Oh that's what you want to do? Yeah, you want
to just keep rolling along the way. Yes, I'm gonna
fix that. Mike here real quick, hang on one second there,
look at that?

Speaker 4 (23:55):
Okay?

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Perfect? Well, I guess when you're doing what you're doing
and you're winning, like the different kinds of bye weeks.

Speaker 8 (24:01):
Right, yeah, you know there's a by we we need
to reset and bye week. Wait, you just need to
keep going.

Speaker 2 (24:09):
How how special is this year feeling to you in
that regard? Because I know we've talked before, like you
haven't like all joking said about the bye weeks. There's
a lot of times like Oh man, we just got
to get this thing, get to the buye, we get
a reset and all this. But when you're rolling like that,
this feels like a special year. How special does it feel?

Speaker 8 (24:24):
Uh? It feels good. But you know, we're not looking ahead.
We actually look to the next day to get better
for the week. So that's like today's like today, you know,
win the Wednesday. I stacked the days on top of
each other, and uh, sharp play good football.

Speaker 4 (24:38):
During the week. You know, preparation is everything.

Speaker 2 (24:41):
This this year with year two of Mike McDonald and
I think it was probably maybe a year maybe it's
like training camp of twenty twenty four. I asked you
about his defense and you said, hey, it's gonna be good.
It's gonna take a while. Are you where you want
to be defensively with this? And I think about it
was you said communication right?

Speaker 8 (25:00):
Yeah, you know, no, we're definitely not where we want
to be. We can definitely improve. We want to be
the best at everything we do for ourselves, and uh,
that's what we're striving towards.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
And you know, starts in practice.

Speaker 8 (25:13):
So the more days we can stack to be a
great defense, that's what we need to do.

Speaker 2 (25:19):
Jared Reid with me, how much pride do you take
personally in seeing the growth and the development of this
defense over the last year and a half, knowing that
you were brought back here, you were kept here because
of who you are. Like you've talked about it before.
You played under the dudes back in the day, right
with Mike and Cliff and all those guys. You're that

(25:41):
guy now, So how much pride you take and being
kind of the leader of the Alpha doct especially upfront.

Speaker 8 (25:47):
Take a lot of pride in it, man. And my
main thing is never about myself. I want to see
the team su see no on all three phases, but
most importantly the defense, you know, because we work so
hard and we put some much time, man, and you
want to see it come out for the better own
for us. You know, each and every week, each and
every game, and we're hungry, we're humble, we respect the game,

(26:10):
we respect our opponents, and we play hard.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
I know you don't want it to be about you.
I get that, but there is something I mean. From
Juco Tobama to being the young guy coming in here
high draft pick and everything to where you are now,
you got to take a step back sometimes and say
it's pretty cool, like who Jurin Reed is today on
and off the field.

Speaker 8 (26:31):
Yeah, well most things I'm saying, I'm truly blessed. For one,
you know, even though I have coverance, you know, since
I've made the route to get here, and everybody route
is different, So for me.

Speaker 4 (26:45):
Is that much more beautiful. But you have to respect it.

Speaker 8 (26:50):
The grind, the time, the determination, the preparation, and the
part of being a pro.

Speaker 2 (26:57):
You've had to take guys under your wing. You've had
to tell guys how to play. You've had to tell
guys not to play. You've had to do all those things.
I want to ask you about the guy that where
is the number close to you? Ninety one by Ron Murphy,
like like the last couple three weeks for starting to
what's changed with him?

Speaker 8 (27:15):
I think the thing that has changed is he's transitioning
to a professional athlete, and that's just he understands the work,
in the grind that it takes. He had that all alone,
but when you're young, you don't realize it's the little things,
the emphasis that can take your game to the next level.

Speaker 4 (27:33):
And I've been saying this the whole time.

Speaker 8 (27:35):
I'm not surprised by what he's doing because I don't
watch them every day closely, and basically, you know, to
one of my wings, just telling them, look, I don't
play for him, so he plays himself.

Speaker 4 (27:49):
You know.

Speaker 8 (27:49):
The most I could do is drop all the knowledge,
and he takes it all in and he's a student
of the game.

Speaker 4 (27:54):
He's willing to learn.

Speaker 2 (27:56):
Jared, What's wild about that is he comes from Texas
and in today's college football, isn't that feels like it's
almost pro football? What are the big differences? We're the
things that guys. I mean, you got a much even
worries coming in right, and I mean we're watching it.
That guy looks like he's gonna be fun fun to
watch along the way. I mean, you know, Devin's a
couple three years in. You got a lot of these
young guys on the defense, and then you've got guys
like you and DeMarcus Lawrence and Shenna and obviously Big

(28:18):
Cat and stuff like that. But today's college athlete when
they come out, how close is that to pro football?
We're the big changes. We're the things they have to learn. Anybody,
not just Byron Uh.

Speaker 4 (28:27):
The guys here are experienced.

Speaker 8 (28:30):
I definitely think it's a huge difference between college and
the NFL. It's grown in in college, but it's really
grown in in the NFL, and it's grown in football.
And the time it takes weekend and week just to
stay mentally locked in and be able to mentally perform
and physically perform with guys that Look, these guys got

(28:52):
families out here, you know.

Speaker 2 (28:53):
So that's a difference, right, Like you're putting food, land,
table and stuff like that, as they say.

Speaker 8 (28:57):
Yeah, so this is literally your livelihood, like you know,
in colleges all for you know, games and giggles and
stuff like that. It's still fun, it's still entertaining, but
now it's a production based business.

Speaker 4 (29:09):
So now you have to perform and produce even for
That's what Jaron read here.

Speaker 2 (29:12):
For a couple more moments number one and rush defense
number seven points allowed per game? What do you take
more pride in? What's more important?

Speaker 4 (29:20):
You got to stop the run? You have to. But
I didn't even know that. T just said, to be honest,
I don't look at all the other stuff. Man. My
main focus for me personally and I want for the team.
It's just block all the outside noise and just focus
on what we've been doing.

Speaker 8 (29:34):
Yeah, you don't want to bring this stuff in to start,
you know, leaking in and guys mates might start filling
themselves or whatever. We're not into that, you know, We're
into being the best that we can be, literally every day.
And I mean that.

Speaker 4 (29:47):
I keep saying it, but like you just can't do
it because it's any given Sunday.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
I've asked you this before, but for new fans or
fans that haven't heard you know, you on with you
and me on TV or you and me on the
radio before we're you get that that that mentality which
you have to translate as a leader on the defense
to the defense. Where do you get that from? Who
are the guys that gave you that? I can feel
I know, I kind of think I know who it.

Speaker 8 (30:10):
Is, just especially started from just when I came in,
you know, and when you're part of a winning program
like I've been a part of Alabama at East Mississippi.
So those things come in elite and they can cause
like just bad ills and people get start to get comfortable,
they start to get oh, we may know we haven't
you know, we're seven games in and we still got

(30:32):
ten more to go.

Speaker 4 (30:33):
So what are we gonna look like? What are we
gonna be? How what's gonna be our.

Speaker 8 (30:39):
Standard and our identity for the next ten to twelve
however many weeks is left. It's for us to play,
excuse me, play our best ball all the time we
can get.

Speaker 4 (30:47):
For us to respect the grind and work hard.

Speaker 2 (30:50):
What's it like to play for Mike McDonald's.

Speaker 8 (30:52):
It's amazing, man. It's not only him, it's all the
position coaches too. Is what they're demanding from us each
and every day. And I feel like our coaches strive
for perfectionate excellent, but nobody's perfect. But it's just what
we're trying to build and the understanding that we're trying
to get the part of our identity of.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
Who we want to be.

Speaker 2 (31:14):
Well before wrapping it up, just real quick on Washington Commanders.
You know one of the guys on other side. You
don't have to go against him fifty four. What just
from a player's perspective, how well respected? What is it
about Bobby that makes him special?

Speaker 4 (31:27):
Very well respected guy?

Speaker 8 (31:28):
I think it's the work he puts in during the
week of being a pro. I mean, he's a. He's
an all world, great guy, all world professional athlete. Definitely
a staple for how a professional athlete should be. And
it's culos to him. Man, He's earned everything. Like I'm
saying before, I think he's definitely a gold jacket, no

(31:51):
hands down.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (31:52):
And just the way he respects the game, the way
he prepares, the way he works. Even when he was here,
you know you were him in there early working out
doing everything.

Speaker 4 (32:02):
He got to think, he's.

Speaker 8 (32:03):
What you're thirteen fourteen in right now and you're still
doing the same things. Man, that's the things that can't
give you longevity in this game.

Speaker 2 (32:11):
Last one for it. Washington struggle a little bit like
kind of strange struggle this year. But it sounds like
if Jadon Daniels is back, they got a couple of
good running backs. Deebo's good. McLaren, what is it about
this team that when you watch them on tape, what
is it that you three and five record aside? You
don't look at the record, so you're seeing just what
you see on tape. What do you see on tape
from that offense?

Speaker 8 (32:32):
I see a team that went to the NFC Championship
last year and they're good and we have to come
with our a game and be ready to play because
they're good at what they do. They got good coaches
on the staff. They execute their play as well, and
they're well put together a team and they play hard.

Speaker 2 (32:48):
Does does Sunday night football still mean something? Under the
lights late.

Speaker 4 (32:52):
At night on Sunday morning, Sunday nights and the afternoon?

Speaker 2 (32:55):
You know, Jared, you know what I'm talking about? BA Like, no,
does it? Does it matter to you? I mean because
they used to be big, like it used to be
big if you played in prime time, like they put
it in the game notes like hey, Primetime record or
pe Primetime and or Mike all these guys like you
guys are a good team and primetime is that doesn't matter?

Speaker 4 (33:08):
No, it doesn't matter to me.

Speaker 2 (33:10):
You just go get them.

Speaker 8 (33:10):
Yeah, just go play, you know, just as part of
the outside noise, Well, does lights are always on?

Speaker 4 (33:15):
What's different? You got a TV production crew there? Yeah?
You know there's always one is that camera that that's
on the stream on the field, So we're always on TV? Right,
there's nothing different.

Speaker 2 (33:25):
That's why I love you, man, You're good. I love
talking to you. You know that I appreciate your time.
Busy guy. During the week, Safe travels back to Washington
and uh, it feels like something special is going on here.
But as you said, this one day at a time.
Keep stacking them. You keep doing that. It's been fun.
It's been a lot of fun this year. Thanks Jared.
Thanks that's Jared. It'll take a quick break, come back
with more.

Uh strange, Like you know.

Speaker 6 (35:00):
Enough, I know that that's where the Islanders play, by
the way, but yeah.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
The I would say, I think it's a New York
thing and SG is not.

Speaker 10 (35:10):
Uh, it's more NBA driven.

Speaker 2 (35:12):
Well, I'd also say, as soon as something goes wrong,
you get booed in your own building, and that is
probably bow Well for Oh wait, yeah weird. So yeah,
they've won two straight. Like I think about a week ago.
You look at this game, but okay, cool, that's that's
the soft spot in the schedule begins. But that's not
the case. They like they won last night. They're good.
They're a very good road team again, five one to
one on the road, winless at home so far this

(35:34):
season for a five hundred record.

Speaker 10 (35:37):
I can contell, or I can confirm, I mean cracking.

of the daily power Play. Big thanks at Isquahondaboda. Coming
up next, Rob rang all things college football. I'm gonna
go down a different path with Rob today. By the way,
I want to ask him a little bit more about
the top of the draft this year in the NFL,
because the presumption to everyone presumed it was going to

(36:24):
be arch manning number one. Kate Klebnick was going to
be in that mix as well. I don't think that's
the case anymore. We'll talk to him about who the
top guys are. Look at the games come up this weekend.
Coming up next.

Speaker 1 (36:38):
Now from the Starruntals Sports to us Jordan ninety th
JJRFMS Sports Headlines.

Speaker 2 (36:44):
All right, headlines brought to you by Frostbury Cruise. I
choose Jill. Here we go. Seahawks injury report is out.
We got an update for you. Julian Love will not play.
Jake Bobo is also out. He was hurt in practice
yesterday or this week, as was Cooper Cup. Cup is questionable.
Jaron Reed, who you just heard from a moment, also questionable.
But I'm gonna tell you right now, he's playing like
I can. He planned. That's that what he's going through.

(37:07):
He can certainly, that's not an issue. Cooper Cup's gonna
be interesting one. They are not very deep at wide
receivers we all know, so we'll keep an eye on
that one. Being questionable for that again, Jake Bobo is out.
Big part of the special teams unit for Seattle as well.

Will you?

Speaker 2 (37:49):

Speaker 6 (37:50):
I can't wait to see him. Everyone's bubba and that's
my favorite thing. I'm Bubba to him too.

Speaker 2 (37:57):
All right, let's get to it. Rob Ranks speaking of
college football stand they talk all things NFL draft as
or release to this weekend's games.

Speaker 1 (38:04):
As part of our never ending coverage of the NFL.
It's time for Ian's weekly visit with Rob rang from
foxsports dot com, brought to you by Ferrelli's Pizza on
your home for the twelfth Man and the NFL Sports
Radio ninety three point three kjr FM.

Speaker 2 (38:22):
All right, Rob rag joining us. It's Friday, It's the
two o'clock hour. It's a tradition in the fall, one
of my favorites.

Speaker 4 (38:27):
You know.

Speaker 2 (38:27):
Weather not great for Halloween, but that's okay. You know,
we got lots going on. Maybe swing by your local
Ferrelli's Pizza and I want to tell somebody, tell everybody
about Farelli's what they got going on. Rob.

Speaker 5 (38:35):
I know you love this too.

Speaker 2 (38:36):
A Farelli's Pizza is announcing the launch of their toy
and cot donation drive in support of Santa's Castle. It's
running now through November twenty fourth. What they're trying to
do is bring holiday joy to the children of junior
enlisted service members throughout the Puga Sound region.

Speaker 5 (38:50):
This is a really cool deal.

Speaker 2 (38:52):
Every year, Santa's Castles provides new toys and gifts to
military families who may not have the means to provide
them during the holidays. Frelli Pizza join the mission by
setting a combined goal of fifteen thousand dollars in donation.
So all we're asking, all Farelli's is asking when you
drop by one of the Ferrelli's twelve locations between now
and November twenty fourth, drop off a new unwrapped toy

(39:14):
or new coat at one of those locations. Really cool
deal supporting our military families and Rob you're down in
that area. You know how big JBLM is to our community.
I know you probably have some students that are that
are our military members and families and so forth. So
let's go out and support all these folks. Big shout
out to Ferrellis Ferrelli's Pizza helping out with this toy
and coat drive to try to help out our our

(39:36):
listed families in the area. Rob, how are you doing today?

Speaker 7 (39:40):
I'm doing great. Thank you so much for mentioning that,
and I just that is one of the things that
I love having Farellis as our sponsor, just because I
am very proud of the just a tradition that is
this locally owned organization and all the different things that
they do to support our community. Oh and by the way,
they have terrific pizza. My wife and I had the

(40:02):
chicken bacon ranch Deep Dish pizza just last weekend.

Speaker 2 (40:05):
Yeah, they got a brand new menu out there. The
Deep Dish included some new pasta's on the menu. And
also you can check out the happy hour it's available.
Happy hour menu available in the dining room as well.
So if you know you got the young kids out there,
you got the young's, they're not going to the bar
like the farnessas do. Because our empty nest world that
we live in. You can enjoy the happy hour menu
and prices as well in the bar in the dining
room area. All right, Rob, let's get to it. We'll

(40:27):
get to a couple of games in a second. I
want to start with this though, because I heard a
couple guys on our station talking about it, and I
think it's a It's an interesting place to be right now,
you know, one of the cool things to take people
behind the curtain. Jest. You have seen this up close
when we finished the draft Seahawks headquarters on the Saturday
afternoon in late April, early May whenever.

Speaker 4 (40:45):
It is.

Speaker 5 (40:46):
Our friend Rob rang after doing.

Speaker 2 (40:48):
Radio for three days and doing all this stuff for
Fox sports dot Com, providing reports for his other employer,
the British Columbia Lines and the CFL.

Speaker 5 (40:56):
You know he does.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
He goes out and he obviously has to do what
make a new draft list for the next year on
that particular day, which is insane.

Speaker 5 (41:05):
That is a lot he gets after it.

Speaker 2 (41:07):
Rob, I'm hearing all over the place and a lot
of names have changed, maybe specifically quarterbacks. How much has
the top of the draft changed with this college football season.

Speaker 7 (41:17):
Sir, Well, it has changed significantly, and I think that
you know, we we began the season talking about guys
like Texas's Arch Manning is basically a slam dunk to
be the number one overall selection, and of course he
has stumbled significantly. Kate Klubnick from Clemson being another one
that now there's talked that he may not even be

(41:39):
drafted at all, and he was viewed as a possible
early round prospect. So but at the same time, we've
also seen some players basically come out of the woodwork.
You know, Dante Moore from Oregon is underclassman Ty Simpson
from Alabama. You know, they have basically come out of
nowhere to become arguably the two most gifted quarterbacks potentially

(42:03):
in this draft craft. The fact that they are under classman,
of course, it makes uh, it makes it quite the
decision for them and quite the decision for NFL or
excuse me, for quarterbacks meading teams in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (42:17):
Well, let's do I want to put you on the
spot a little bit if I can, before we talk
about the games this weekend, because I think it's fascinating
to see and there are guys out there that we've
talked about a little bit here or there that but
you know, usually by now were like, okay, who's the
number one? Who like one, two, three, four? If anybody's
going to know that right now, you're going to have
a pretty good idea if the draft were to start today,

(42:37):
rop Who's who are the top two or three candidates
to go one. Who are the top three prospects in
the draft right now, assuming no longer arch Manning for example, Well, you're.

Speaker 7 (42:47):
Telling me as wonderful as it often is. You know,
I got at brand new mock draft come of have
Fox sports dot Com literally today and so so people
will be able to read the entire first round the
mock draft. But I'll just kind of give you that
peak the top three players I have. These are the
top three players on my board and how I think
that they would come off the board. I'm going to

(43:08):
mention the top three players, and I'm going to also
mention the top quarterbacks, because in my opinion, this is
not a draft class that has a quarterback that he's
justifiably should be taken within the top five selections. So
my top three players overall right now would be a
defensive end from the University of Miami, Ruben Bain Junior.

(43:28):
He doesn't have eyepopping statistics, but this guy is a
compactly built, very physically violent type of player, very good
against the run as well as the pass. It reminds
me a little bit of the Seahawks de Marcus Lawrence
and also some Dhite freeing to him in that again,
compactly built, probably going to measure in about sixty two

(43:49):
and a half to two hundred fifty pounds, but he
is so powerful at the point of attack. He really
is a very impressive prospect. Certainly Ohio State safety Caleb
Downs a number overall prospect. I think that if you could,
you know in today's their safeties are not quite as
important as edge rushers. But otherwise I think the Caleb
Bowns is the safest prospect in this draft. Six foot one,

(44:11):
two hundred and five pounds is the All American Alabama
is the All American in Ohio State. Again, not a
lot of production, but at the same time he is
as safety as it gets to me. He reminds me
an awful lot of a former University of washing Star
who's gone there as in the Cardinals dude at Baker
that he's bigger and perhaps even faster, so unbelievable talent.

(44:31):
And then, finally, speaking of speed, another Ohio State buck guy.
It's easy to understand why they are the number one
team and defending national champions. Rvel Reese six four two
and forty five pounder Ian. This guy has the best
combination of five and straight line speed that I've seen
the linebacker position, and quite some time, I hesitate to

(44:52):
even mention the name of who. He reminds me of,
Brian Ernlapper, the Hall of Famer, But at the same time,
that's what I see is a guy that is athletic
enough to play safety, is big enough to play in
the box and be very effective. If anybody remembers the
way that Ohio States linebackers were able to basically spy
on Husky's quarterback DeMont Williams, that was our Bill Reeves,

(45:13):
this guy is going to absolutely fly up draft boards.
He's not getting a lot of buzzs yet, but he
certainly will. So those are my three top players if
the draft was held right now and quickly. I'm going
to mention the quarterbacks again. Dante Moore from Oregon is
a dynamic talent. He's got a total of thirteen career starts,
so again, that's quite the gamble and a NFL team

(45:35):
will be taking if they were going to use a
first round pick on him. But he is absolutely dynamic talent.
Ty Simpson from Alabama very similar story. He's stilling twenty touchdowns,
he has one interception he gets SEC competition. I mean,
the statistics are off the charts. At the same time,
he started a total of eight games in his college
career just this season, So again, a huge, huge gamble

(45:59):
the NFL team would be taking if they're going to
select him in the first round. Leonora Sellers from South
Carolina the other underclass. It's got all kinds of buzz
about him. He's six foot three to hundred forty five pounds.
Looks like Jalen Hurt or Dak Prescott out there with
his mobility. At the same time, he's just not quite
as polish of a passer as afore mentioned Dante More

(46:20):
or Ty Simpson. Again, those are all three under classes.
I think all three are very possibly returning. Just we
live in a different era now with nil and things like that.
The money isn't the factor that it once was to
push quarterbacks out. So among the seniors in his three
quarterbacks are in my first round mock draft, as I

(46:40):
mentioned before, Carson Beck from Miami, Garrett Nessmayer from LSU,
Fernando Mendoza probably along with Ty Simpson from Alabama I
mentioned before. Twenty touchdowns. One reception for Ty Simpson. Very
similar numbers for Fernando Mendoza. He's got twenty four touchdowns,

(47:00):
three interceptions, and obviously as a star quarterback for the
number two ranked Indiana Hoosiers. I think that he and
ty Sinson have to be the Heisman Trophy candidates right
now that everybody should be talking about.

Speaker 2 (47:12):
Well, I would agree, I totally agree with that. Along
the way, rober Rang joining us brought to you by
Farei's Pizza. Let me get to let me go back
to Baine junior Caleb Downs just specifically kind of the
top two guys?

Speaker 5 (47:25):
I is this Every draft is different? Rob Is this draft.

Speaker 2 (47:31):
Maybe void of the high high high end, no doubt
about it, top five, top ten picks, but maybe deep?
Or is it just kind of average? How would you?
And again it's really early. I know, you know, we're
two thirds of the way through the college football season,
but at the same time, we're early in the draft process.
How would you, in general terms describe this year's draft?
Because when I hear a safety going potentially number one

(47:53):
overall as good as Caleb Downs is, we've all watched
him play, I'm kind of questioning what the level of
talent is in this draft.

Speaker 7 (48:00):
Yeah, I think that that's very fair. I don't think
if this is a class that has those elite, blue chip,
you know, would be a top five pick every single
year type of prospects. I think that it's it does
have good depth. There's just a lot of really good
football players out there. And I mentioned before with like
Rubin mains Junior, I used the uh, you know, the

(48:22):
comparison to Dwight Freeing and DeMarcus Lawrence. I mean, Dwight
Freeman was the first round pick, Mark Lawrence was a
second round pick. Neither of them were you know, of
course top five kind of were kind of guys coming
out of college, even though they both were highly productive
players and obviously have had a great deal of success
in the NFL. I just don't see that kind of
high end step down. Next year certainly is going to

(48:45):
be absolutely low. I do expect to be a bounce
back for arch Manning. I think the three quarterbacks I
mentioned before underclassman I wouldn't be surprised at all if
if they return and you know, continue to polish up
their game to be early select And obviously Ohio state
wide receiver Jeremiah Smith, if he were available in this
year's half class team, he would be the slam dunk

(49:07):
number one overall prospect, but of course he is not
as a true softcore So I just don't think that
this draft PAPS is quite as rich at the very top.
And so that's one of the reasons why I think
you're going to see NFL teams are going to be
looking more defense rather than skill position players. I considered
a player like a Jeremiah Love for Notre Dame as
being one of those elite blue chip type of players,

(49:28):
but again when you look at him and his back
Jenarian Price is just about as effective. And so again
they're two very talented players. But at the same time,
running backs are one of the stronger positional groups this year,
and that's going to limit where a guy like a
Jeremiah Love might be able to go and a.

Speaker 2 (49:47):
Drop Robert and good as to Bay for Eli's pizza.
All right, let's go through some of the games. Anybody
else we need at Penn State and Ohio State number one.
Ohio State take on play on the Big Fox game
nine am on Saturday. I mean got this at the
start of the year was a Circle of Calendar game.
That's no longer the case with what's happened at Penn State.
You mentioned some of the top prospects for Ohio State,
anybody else we need to touch in on that game.

Speaker 7 (50:07):
I just think at Penn State, you know, because there's
been so many bad things that have happened on Happy
Valley this year. It's you know, Sad Valley right now.
But Denny Dennis Danny, Dennis Sutton, number thirty three is
a legitimate first round edge rusher in my opinion. Six
to five's two hundred and sixty pounds. And you and
I have been doing this long enough that you know
that some of the numbers I really focus it on

(50:29):
as far as edge rushers is do they get their
hands in the air to back down passes. He's got
seven career batted down passes as well as force fumbless
touch of salas that can be schemed up a little bit,
but with six career force fumbles, seven career passes broken
up and well into double digits when it comes to
the sacks and tackles for loss over his career to me,

(50:51):
Denny Davis, Danny Dennis Sutton, excuse me, number thirty three
for Penn State remains a legitimate prospect. But yeah, there's
no doubt about it. Ohio State is absolutely loaded. I
would suggest that people watch RBLL Reese a little bit more.
He is a guy, and again people aren't talking about
just yet, but they certainly will. He wears number eight
for the bucknet.

Speaker 5 (51:11):
I appreciate tell us the number. I was just going
to ask you that Rob rang joining us. Okay, let
me jump ahead.

Speaker 2 (51:14):
Twelve thirty ABC Texas Tech Kansas State Big twelve matchup
number thirteen Texas Tech. They've got playoff aspirations. Probably some
dudes as well.

Speaker 7 (51:24):
They certainly do. And that's the thing. I mean, the
Red Raiders, you know, for so long there were known
for offense, you know, whether it be Mike Leach, whether
it be Chris Kingsbury his coach, whether it be Patrick
Mahomes or Michael Crabtree, and those were the guys. Now
it's defensive guys. And you want to talk about a
head coach who is very much moving up the charts,

(51:44):
and I don't know if he's going to be in
Levin much longer. I think that some of the high
profile programs out there, he might be somebody that they're
going to be looking at. His name is Joey McGuire.
He has the Red Raiders on the precipice of their
fourth consecutive bowll you know, Bowl appearance, and there's a
number thirteen ranked team in the country and it's on
the base on the power of their defense. Now we've

(52:06):
talked about David Bailey before, the edge rushers, former Stanford player.
He just leaves the FBS with twelve and a half
sacks so far this season. Six three, two hundred and
fifty pounder. But on the opposite side of him is
another really good player. We're mellow height, six foot three,
two hundred and forty pounds, so again undersized slightly, but
one of those stand up outside linebackers same as Bailey

(52:30):
that might intrigue Mike McDonald and John Schneider a lot
for the Seahawks. Now, this guy is as well traveled
as a gets. He started his career at Auburn USC
Georgia Tech before he went up at Tech. But he's
got twenty tackles, five tackles for lost, five sacks, and
he's got as good of a dip undercut move and

(52:50):
at flatten out and really accelerate to the quarterback. He
and Bailey might just be the best canda pass rushers
in all of college football. And so again, you're not
like expecting that from Texas Tech. And I would be
remiss if I didn't mention the possible All American linebacker
for them, Jacob Rodriguez. I mean talk about stats, Send
me two tackles, seven and a half tackles for lost,

(53:12):
two interceptions, five force fumbles. One of those force fumbles
he recovered a returned for a touchdown. Again, Texas Tech
Red Raiders has not been a hot bed for defensive
talent in the past. With all due respect to former
Seahawk draft pick Jordan Love is the first round picker,
first round pick. But I think that there's gonna be
at least what freeoh of players from the Red Raiders

(53:33):
who are drafted this year in the NFL. And that
hasn't happened in Levet's a.

Speaker 4 (53:36):
Long time rob.

Speaker 2 (53:37):
Oklahoma and Tennessee eighteen Oklahoma fourteen Tennessee a massive, big,
massive SEC matchup. I should say along the way, let
me start just our guy Money Linettier.

Speaker 5 (53:47):
There's no he doesn't come out right. He's got to
stick around for another year.

Speaker 7 (53:51):
I'd like to think though, I mean, he has definitely
shown the flashes of being a real talented quarterback where
obviously is dual credibility, but the inconsistency has been so
much the injury of course as well, I think that
he has to return.

Speaker 2 (54:06):
All right, Tennessee, Any guys who do watch anybody in
those in that game, particularly, Yeah, you know, we'll.

Speaker 7 (54:12):
Talk so much about defense so far today, so let's
focus in on offense for a moment here. Tennessee has
got one of the real breakout wide receiver stars and
all of the college in all of the country, Chris
Brazil the second he leaves the SEC with seven hundred
and forty receiving yards eight touchdowns. He's six foot four,
he's one hundred and ninety five pounds DNA. He's just
like a graceful, lanky receiver who really tracks the ball

(54:37):
well and jumps up and catches the ball as highest points.
So so he is one of those guys that I
think is definitely going to be able to make some
of the highlight reel plays that makes it worth watching
that game. As you mentioned four thirty on ABC.

Speaker 2 (54:49):
All right, late game, let's get to this one. Cincinnati
and Utah number seventeen, Cincinnati number twenty four Utah Utah
a very outside chance still to find a sneak away
into the college football playoff. Kyle Winningham's team, they haven't
got what they wanted out of the quarterback damp Here
who I don't know if he's even playing this weekend.
And Cincinnati, obviously they also have playoff aspirations.

Speaker 5 (55:06):
Who are you watching in this game?

Speaker 7 (55:09):
Well, I think you got to focus in on the
offense tackles. As I mentioned before, Texas Tech, I think
that they have the two best edge rushing tandem in
all of college football. I think Utah has the best
offensive tackle tandem in college football. We talked a little
bit about the left tackle Spencer found Out of six
foot five three and five pound junior. I have him
as a top five selection in that aforementioned the mock draft.

(55:30):
And then Caleb Lomu, the red shirt sophomore six foot
six three and ten pounds even larger at the right
tackle position. Ian they are both first round caliber kind
of guys. And then I think on the defensive side
of the ball, we all know that Kyle Williams do
an incredible job on just producing quality NFL defenders throughout

(55:53):
his entire career. John Henry Daily number ninety, the DYU transfer,
the six foot five, fifty five talents, and he's just
country strong and it's very, very productive. Thirteen and a
half tackles for lost nine and a half sacks, thirteen
half tackles for lost leaves, the big twelve. So again,
I think if you're a stand up late to watch

(56:13):
this game seventy fifteen on Saturday on ESPN, the Utah
has a lot a lot of talent to justify you
watching that football game.

Speaker 2 (56:23):
I'll touch it on this only because I care Washington
State Oregon State's four thirty CBS game. I know that
you know, probably not a lot of NFL guys. I'm
just Oregon State. When you've seen these guys, I know
there might be some there's some CFL talent. Maybe four
of those teams or both of those teams got Oregon State.
The drop off is dramatic.

Speaker 7 (56:40):
Rob Well, certainly when you you know there's the first
round draft pick like Taulaga at the right tackle position,
you know, and he's done pretty well for New Orleans.
But at the same time, the drop off has been
fairly significant year that not only the talent panof at
the line that was the highest seen anybody from Oregon

(57:01):
State be drafted, I believe in program history. But at
the same time, obviously the head coach and the smith
leaving touring in Michigan State and that just kind of
you know, reset reset things there in Court Dallas. But
they've have some interesting prospects. I think the linebacker Aid
and Sullivan number two, the wide receiver Trent Walker number seven,

(57:23):
both have enough juice certainly that as a CFL scout,
I am very much paying attention, and I would argue
the same thing with Washington States. To your point, I
don't know that there's a lot of NFL prospects out there.
But another wide receiver, Joshua Meredith number eighteen, he does
have some drops, but at the same time he also
has some quickness to him that is very intriguing. And
speaking of quickness, Jamay colts In the cornerback number five,

(57:47):
has some mistackles, but at the same time has the
agility the NFL teams are requiring. And we talked about
the safety Tucker Largs, whether it be a nickel, whether
it be a deep safety. He has the instincts and
what I've seen reliable open field tackling that suggests that
he could be very effective again, if not in the NFL,
then certainly in the CFL with our wide fields.

Speaker 2 (58:08):
And I watched them tyle Katta play last few weeks,
so I'm sure Tucker Largs could too. Okay, Rob, Rang,
you're the best buddy.

Speaker 4 (58:15):
Again.

Speaker 5 (58:15):
You got a new what's up on the website again,
a brand.

Speaker 7 (58:18):
New Marck Draft twenty twenty six mock draft here just
because you know. Here we are a couple of days
away from the NFL trade deadline. Some teams are of
course going to be very aggressive and fix some of
their holes in the next couple of days. Other teams
are going to be looking ahead to spring, and so
it's pretty easy to see which holes the teams have
already and how this draft class lines up.

Speaker 2 (58:42):
You can also catch up with our buddy Corbyn Smith
on the podcast as well, so listen, he's all over
the place. But go check out the mock draft. And yeah,
not a huge great slatey games this week. We'll get
back into that next week as well. Washington's got the
buye week two, So Rob, thank you.

Speaker 5 (58:56):
My friend.

Speaker 7 (58:56):
I appreciate it, no problem, Thanks for having me Onnie
as always.

Speaker 2 (59:00):
That is Rob Rang. We'll take a break, come back.
We got little factor fiction on this Friday afternoon, Happy Halloween,
ninety three point three KJFM.

Speaker 5 (59:10):
Where's that to go? Glad you're with us.

Speaker 1 (59:11):
It's your shot at our weekly thousand bucks and the
ten thousand dollars grand prize. It's fact door Fiction probably
presented by Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel where every Day
Feels Lucky. Fact Door Fiction is on Sports Radio ninety
three point three kjr FM.

Speaker 2 (59:33):
All right, Factor Fiction. We're about a minute and a
half away from the window opening, so I'll hold off
on the pick for a second. Four nine four to
five one fact. If you agree, four nine four to
five one fiction. If you disagree, when we give you
the pick, I'm looking here real quickly. Anybody have the
game last night Indianapolis Buffalo Kid?

Speaker 6 (59:50):
Did they?

Speaker 2 (59:52):
I think the only Baltimore minus seven?

Speaker 5 (59:54):
Yeah, Chris Kid had it.

Speaker 10 (59:55):
Yeah, we got a fact he did.

Speaker 2 (59:58):
Hey one, that's a win for risk Kid.

Speaker 6 (01:00:00):
Yeah, and a lot of people agreed with him, seventy
one percent.

Speaker 2 (01:00:03):
Seventy one percent. Yeah, nobody else said anything on that game,
it doesn't look like so we've already got one winner
in the bank. It'll even out his record because he
took Cincinnati plus three versus Chicago, so that'll even out
his record this week. All right, Factor Fiction brought to
you by the Lucky Eagle Casino and Hotel where everyday
feels lucky. Very simple. Here's what we do.

Speaker 4 (01:00:27):
Give you a pick.

Speaker 2 (01:00:28):
If you agree, you text fact. If you disagree, you
text fiction. You're trying to win one thousand dollars weekly prize,
ten thousand dollars grand prize. If you are in contention
for ten thousand dollars, you know it because you've been
playing all these weeks. If as we sit here in
week nine, if you haven't been playing, probably not really
in contention for that prize, to be honest with you,
But doesn't mean you can't win one thousand dollars every week.

(01:00:48):
That's why we play Factor Fiction. Even if you're out
of it. And for example, Jess and I, if we
were playing and we were eligible, we would be out
of it based on our records this year. But even
if you're out of it, you can win a thousand
dollars at Actually not Andrews. He's gone. So is it
gonna be you call him Monday? Are you gonna wait
a week?

Speaker 10 (01:01:07):
Oh no, I'm totally gonna be in.

Speaker 2 (01:01:10):
I love it. So you're calling somebody on Monday, tell
me one thousand dollars?

Speaker 10 (01:01:12):
Yeah, I can't wait.

Speaker 2 (01:01:14):
That's a good part of the gig. Here's the pick
Miami minus ten and a half at SMU. Now you're
gonna say, what is this the ten to one show
the Miami you know, the Miami Homer Show of Record
with MJ and the Midday.

Speaker 9 (01:01:31):
No?

Speaker 2 (01:01:31):
And am I here? Am I listening to MJ too much?

Speaker 4 (01:01:34):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:01:34):
Uh no. Here's the thing. First of all SMU's they're
two and six against the spread this season. They barely
beat Jake Dickard in their last game. I don't know.
The thing is is that on Tuesday, the college football
playoff rankings come out for the first time, Jess. And
what that means is despite the fact that the committee

(01:01:56):
and everyone will try to tell you differently, make no mistake, style,
points matter, period and a store, it's still there's no
calculation that's all mathematically based or statistic based. There is
still a human element. There is still a subjective nature
to it. Miami is going to go in there with

(01:02:18):
a purpose and they are gonna They're not taking Mario
Cristapaul is not gonna take the foot off the gas.
If they get to lead, and I think they will
get the lead, I think they'll have no problem again
sm two and six against the spread. Think Miami is
gonna beat them by at least two touchdowns because they
almost they don't have to. They should be like if
it was to be today, they would be comfortably in.

(01:02:39):
But the ACC is thought so little of by most
people around the country. Same with the Big twelve. Yep
that and you heard Mandel tells us every week, you're
probably looking at one to two teams in the ACC.
Two if that second team is Miami. But if they
stumble again, then it gets a little dicey for the Hurricanes.
And I think that that's a good team. Carson Beck

(01:02:59):
is a good quarterback and we've we've talked about that
with Rang a minute ago. You know, Carson Beck is,
I mean, he's kind of risen above some of the
other nonsense around the quarterback play in this country this
year from some of the guys we expected better up
Miami's gonna roll them. They're gonna roll up the score.
They're not gonna take the foot off the gas. They're
gonna win by two touchdowns. So again, Miami minus ten
and a half. Fact four nine four to five one.

(01:03:20):
If you disagree, fiction four nine four five one.

Speaker 6 (01:03:26):
I saw some a lot of early facts come in,
and uh, if you didn't get a bounce back quite yeah, yes,
then just text it in again if you hadn't got one.

Speaker 2 (01:03:37):
I did notice that. In fact, I'm not sure I
should probably re I think I do this every day.
We play it at wait for It seven thirty five,
eleven thirty five, two thirty five, and three thirty five.
I saw a text. I'm looking at the text line
where we're talking to Rang and I saw people texting
in fact at two o'clock today, So I don't know

(01:03:59):
if may you put your clock ahead already? That's on Sunday,
by the way, Oh yeah, fall back, not fall not ahead,
fall back.

Speaker 5 (01:04:05):
Yeah yeah, but you got.

Speaker 10 (01:04:06):
An extra hour of sleep?

Speaker 2 (01:04:08):
Oh god, thank god? Yeah, thank yeah.

Speaker 6 (01:04:10):
Well, in the darkness that has enveloped Durk community is here.

Speaker 10 (01:04:14):
I think we deserve it.

Speaker 2 (01:04:16):
It feels dark already, though doesn't it.

Speaker 10 (01:04:18):
Yeah, it does.

Speaker 6 (01:04:19):
Yeah, when I wake up without an alarm and it's
like seven thirty and I'm like, oh no, it's still
definitely five am.

Speaker 10 (01:04:27):
It's dark.

Speaker 2 (01:04:28):
Well, and of course tonight, with our trigger treaters running
around everbody's neighborhoods, we're gonna have the infamous atmospheric river
that we get here in the Northwest. Yay, good times
all the way around. Once again, here's the pick before
we get to the break. Miami minus cent and a
half at SMU fact four nine four or five one.
If you disagree fiction four nine four five one. Now

(01:04:52):
you may be rooting against Miami just because you want
to do it in spite of the ten to one show.
I get it. He's he is the big like us.
If the Husky Hawks is the cane, Hank is certainly
our guy, Mjane. But that's a good football team, man,
that is a good football team.

Speaker 10 (01:05:06):
I would agree. My godfather's favorite team too.

Speaker 2 (01:05:09):
And we just talked about their pass rusher maybe the
best guy in the country off the edge with Rob
a minute ago. So go for it. We're helping you
out here. We're trying to make you win a thousand
dollars and again ten thousand dollars grand prize is on
the line. You can keep track by the way the
standing at the website on our website nine three three
KJR dot com.

Speaker 6 (01:05:24):
And also one reminder, again, sometimes the window opens a
little later, and so I can see all these texts
coming in, so I can see the facts, majority facts,
and some fiction's coming in. That just if you haven't
received a bounce back yet, please text in again because sometimes.

Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
The bounce back comes back within about fifteen or twenty seconds. Yes,
so if you texted fact or fiction and you did
not get a bounce back within the ten twenty thirty
seconds and you haven't got one yet, then retext fact
for fiction to four nine, four or five one.

Speaker 4 (01:05:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (01:05:58):
It's it's a it's a it's kind of like the
college football playoff committee. It's an inexact science. When that
window is going to open, it's every day at at
two thirty five.

Speaker 10 (01:06:07):
But it is thirty five.

Speaker 6 (01:06:08):
Yeah, and sometimes it does open a little late. And
we appreciate all of these hundreds of texts that are
coming in.

Speaker 10 (01:06:15):
One hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (01:06:17):
Here's where are you? What's going on?

Speaker 11 (01:06:19):
Easier?

Speaker 10 (01:06:20):
And I'm going to check in with him about this.

Speaker 2 (01:06:23):
Yeah, go check on that. Let's get an update. If
we have to redo it, we'll redo it again. But
just keep texting factor fiction until you get a bounce
back four nine four to five one. We'll check in
with Softy next. Okay, DS, the window is fixed. It's open.
You can text factor fiction right now to four nine

(01:06:44):
four to five one. It should be open for a
few more moments. Because so if you did not get
a bounce back initially, in the first few minutes of
the window, we did not get bounced backs. If you
did not get a bounce back texting Factor fiction to
the pick of Miami minus ten and a half against SMU,
then text Factor or fiction right now, whatever you want
to do, agree or disagree two four nine four or
five one. You should get a bounce back. You should

(01:07:06):
be okay. We get a lot of people saying that
they're okay now, but initially the window was shut, so
to speak, which will be the case this weekend with
all the rain we're gonna have and wind and all
that other fun stuff.

Speaker 11 (01:07:16):
By the way, it's not gonna be okay. Everything's terrible, terrible,
everything is horrific. It's awful, gloom, doom and gloom. Nothing's okay,
you suck.

Speaker 4 (01:07:26):
I suck.

Speaker 5 (01:07:26):
Everybody say, we all do.

Speaker 2 (01:07:28):
It's Friday, though, Buddy doesn't sucks. Man Friday.

Speaker 5 (01:07:30):
You got big plans for Halloween?

Speaker 2 (01:07:32):
The night man, how about you?

Speaker 5 (01:07:34):
Yeah, I'll be in bed by eight o'clock tonight.

Speaker 4 (01:07:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 11 (01:07:37):
Last year, last year we got one trick or treater
and it was my neighbor's son.

Speaker 5 (01:07:42):
No way.

Speaker 2 (01:07:44):
Yeah, I think you lived like in a neighborhood with
people walking the house.

Speaker 11 (01:07:49):
You're a little bit off the beaten path as far
as our street. Uh, get into our house. But you know,
they do a big thing downtown for the kids, all
that stuff whatever. So I don't know, man, I don't know.
It just feels like maybe I'm missing the boat here.
But back in the day when I was like nine,
there were like thousands of kids on the street.

Speaker 5 (01:08:06):
Thousands of kids. Is that still the same in your neighborhood?

Speaker 2 (01:08:09):
We have that, Yes, it's it's our neighborhood. Is it's
like Halloweens.

Speaker 4 (01:08:14):
You know.

Speaker 2 (01:08:14):
The wild thing is we've been here for seventeen years.
I think it is now seventeen eight eighteen years, I guess,
and like my kids obviously have aged out, and most
of our friends who we still hang out with their
kids have aged out, graduated college, whatever it is, right,
and yet there's this whole it's never slowed down. There's
like a whole new how old as two group of kids?

Speaker 4 (01:08:34):
How old?

Speaker 11 (01:08:34):
It's too long to be trigger treading because I've had
a last couple of years, you know, not last year,
but previously opened the door, and there's like a twenty
eight year old standing.

Speaker 2 (01:08:42):
There, which the personal.

Speaker 5 (01:08:46):
Yes or just now they're treating.

Speaker 11 (01:08:48):
There's like three of them trigger t reading, like if
they've got their kids with them, fine, I get it right,
But I almost think there's like a window that you
got to set it out and then it's cool to
come back, like from you know two, who does seventeen
years old?

Speaker 4 (01:09:02):
Whatever?

Speaker 11 (01:09:02):
Maybe eighteen okay fine, but then from like nineteen to
thirty four.

Speaker 5 (01:09:08):
You got to bow out.

Speaker 11 (01:09:09):
And then if you want to come back at thirty
five and dress up as like somebody from the eighties,
then fine.

Speaker 5 (01:09:13):
Whatever.

Speaker 2 (01:09:14):
I think if you got your learner, I think you
got your learner's permit, you shouldn't be tricker treating.

Speaker 11 (01:09:17):
Okay, I'll use it I'll use out fifteen years old.
You're done well.

Speaker 2 (01:09:22):
Because you're probably doing other stuff, right, Like I mean
going to a party. It was a Friday. Maybe you're
going to a high school football game something like that.

Speaker 5 (01:09:28):
Given out free candy though, man, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (01:09:31):
So we spent so much on that every year.

Speaker 11 (01:09:33):
That's the problem is that we buy all the candy
and then we freaking eat it all. You know, like
there's leftover candy and you just you know, get fat, man,
you just get sick and you know, diarrhea and or here.

Speaker 2 (01:09:45):
To the office that people will eat it here.

Speaker 5 (01:09:46):
Man, that's good.

Speaker 2 (01:09:47):
Somebody somebody brought some of the other day and they
put it in that when they cleaned out the prize closet.

Speaker 11 (01:09:51):
Yeah, I saw it. It was all you had dusty.
The bucket was all dusty.

Speaker 2 (01:09:55):
So they put all the you know, kick cats and
stuff in there, and then Jack and the Jack Daniels bucket.
It was all something.

Speaker 6 (01:10:02):
Like the little like one pieces, like the little tiny things.

Speaker 11 (01:10:05):
We used to have some jerk. There's some dentis that
would hand out toothbrushes and little mini toothpaste every year
to piss me off.

Speaker 2 (01:10:12):
Which is worthless because if you go to the dentist,
they give you that. Anyway, you get a couple three months.

Speaker 5 (01:10:16):
Now we know who's long to pee on. When this
thing comes to an end.

Speaker 6 (01:10:19):
Wouldn't they give out like and like the detrimental thing
to their teeth?

Speaker 2 (01:10:25):
I don't know what's what's the what's the candy? You
don't give out like candy corn?

Speaker 4 (01:10:29):
Right? You know?

Speaker 5 (01:10:29):
I like candy corn personally?

Speaker 2 (01:10:31):
What's wrong with I?

Speaker 4 (01:10:32):
Do?

Speaker 5 (01:10:32):
I enjoy it? I enjoy the little pumpkins. Something that's crazy,
little pumpkins.

Speaker 10 (01:10:37):
I like, that's like a conglomerate of candy corn there.

Speaker 5 (01:10:41):
Yeah, yeah, no, man, I don't mind it at all.

Speaker 2 (01:10:44):
It's it's an expensive task. It's it is you got
to bite at Costco. And even then you're gonna spend
and then you know it from the light out, like
when you run out turn it out. Like we get
a couple of friends, like they'll leave this is dumb.
You leave like a bag or a bowl in the
front porch because they don't want to be bother you.

Speaker 5 (01:11:00):
And then that takes right, Yeah, what would.

Speaker 2 (01:11:04):
You do if you were little Dave would have taken them.

Speaker 11 (01:11:06):
Somebody should think of the parents though, Man, like, hey,
you know, here's a little kid calf for your kid.

Speaker 5 (01:11:10):
Would you like a Mey Paul sandwich? You know, Oh,
isn't he usually a cocktail or something?

Speaker 2 (01:11:15):
Well?

Speaker 5 (01:11:16):
One that brings us.

Speaker 2 (01:11:19):
To what we do at our place. That's that's what
we do. We have, we have the we've had the
adults over for about fifteen years, and now that the
kids are all gone, we just have the adults over
and take turns in the door. And that's what we have.
A we have a little get together. We do soups
and stuff and having good times. So yeah, it's a
proud tradition. The start of the holiday season.

Speaker 11 (01:11:37):
My friend, I just want to find out that one
kid in the neighborhood that's scared out of his mind
about one thing, and find out what that one thing
is and just scare the hell out of him.

Speaker 2 (01:11:46):
You open the door. Guess guess which one it was?
For our kids?

Speaker 5 (01:11:51):
I don't know, you tell me it is pretty really.

Speaker 2 (01:11:55):
Terrified, yes, which is weird.

Speaker 5 (01:11:57):
What was she afraid of? A father? She can handle anything.

Speaker 2 (01:12:02):
Should be that way, right, Anything with a big head
or a mask like mascots, masks and anything like that,
which is weird because like when she was three or
four five. You could put her on the biggest roller
coaster in the world or a slink show, anything like that,
no problem. But yeah, anything with a mask, no dice.

Speaker 11 (01:12:17):
I'm gonna dress up as Alejandro Kirk and that can
also combine myself as a circus midget at the same time,
walk around on my knees, hey with a pillow and
my belly.

Speaker 2 (01:12:28):
Oldsofty could have done that totally.

Speaker 4 (01:12:31):
I could.

Speaker 11 (01:12:32):
I could be Tim Conway or I could be Alejandra Kirk,
door for Kirk.

Speaker 5 (01:12:35):
You pick which one.

Speaker 2 (01:12:37):
God, you know what, I didn't even mention that today.
I didn't mention that game today. I feel bad. I'm
a bad talk show host for not even.

Speaker 11 (01:12:41):
Mentioned tonight's game. I don't blame you at all at all.
I am miserable, man over this thing. Miserable.

Speaker 4 (01:12:48):
Can you have a.

Speaker 5 (01:12:49):
Motto show up please and shove.

Speaker 4 (01:12:50):
It up our ass?

Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
Well he will. We're gonna a game seven.

Speaker 5 (01:12:54):
It's gonna make it worse, all right, What do you got?
What do you what's today? Friday?

Speaker 11 (01:12:57):
Lee Sterling is gonna be here. We're gonna talk to
a yeah, pretty champion. On the radio show Aaron Levine's
gonna pop by uh and talk with us. Hugh Mellon's
gonna be here at five o'clock. Rick newhisol as well.
And I'm sure we'll bitch and moan and whine and
complain about the Blue Jays and Dodgers tonight at some point,
So tune in for that.

Speaker 2 (01:13:15):
Just do what I want, Just do what I didn't.
Ignore it.

Speaker 11 (01:13:18):
Yeah, I tell myself I'm going to and then it
never happens.

Speaker 4 (01:13:22):
You know.

Speaker 11 (01:13:22):
Jess is trying to get us out of here with
this music. By the way, all right, Trick or Tree
see

Speaker 1 (01:13:26):
I see it for the mild mannered and marginally objectionable
the inverness this battle day, saying so long everyone,
