Episode 53: Levees Special Release & GiveawayA month ago, I got to see a band opening for Lonely Horse at Sam’s Burger Joint that totally blew me away. I hadn’t heard of them prior to that event, and I found out later, that that night was actually the third time they had played in front of an audience. The band was Levees.Levees is Kody Anderson, Kyle Anderson, Skyler Ellis, and Matt Stieb. Right now, these guys are a bit of a mystery. They’re currently putting together a bio, but I can tell you this. These guys sound great live. I was really impressed with them, not like I’m the end all of tastemakers or anything, but, I really think they’re going to make a big splash locally and hopefully regionally and nationally.Thanks to Levees for hosting our first contest/promotion. Saturday, May 30th, Levees will be playing at the 502 Bar at 8pm. They will be playing with The Vegan Street Tacos, Colleens, and Michael J. and The Foxes to raise money for Michael J. and The Foxes debut full length album.
