The Corelink Solution with James Rosseau, Sr.

Do you find yourself wondering where your career is going at times? Feeling stuck in terms of how you might move forward? Or even wondering what it all means? Don’t worry; you are not alone. Many, despite where they are in their career, feel the same way. If the world were perfect, we would live the life of our favorite superheroes. We would stumble upon our superpowers (our gifts and talents) and even goof around with them for a while with our friends, but ultimately, we would find the purpose for which we were given those superpowers. We would even have a Yoda-like guide that helps us hone those superpowers as we work to fulfill that purpose. While the world is not perfect, my guests and I will help you find your superpowers and hone them in pursuit of fulfilling your purpose. A little bit about James James Rosseau Sr. is the founder and CEO of The Corelink Solution, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization committed to revitalizing communities through programs that empower people to reach their potential. With a passion for helping others and leading a “head and heart” mission, James has dedicated the remainder of his career to helping leaders achieve sustainable business growth. The leadership facilitation work he delivers as an entrepreneur allows him to fuel the non-profit. With over 20 years of leadership experience in various industries, including insurance, healthcare, and financial services, James has created and guided high-performing teams by delivering double-digit growth, mergers and acquisitions, offshoring, outsourcing, startups, and well over 300 partnerships. Before pursuing his own entrepreneurial endeavors, James held various executive positions with companies such as JPMorgan Chase, Allstate, and LegalShield. James has confronted and overcome major challenges but was able to persevere with his excellent work ethic and drive to make a positive change in the world. James earned his EMBA from Northwestern University and attained his undergraduate degree from the University of Phoenix. As a devoted community member who enjoys staying active, James currently serves on the DeVry University Board of Trustees and as an executive coach and leadership facilitator for ThinkHuman, helping client partners and teams achieve sustainable growth. He is also the author of Success on Your Own Terms: 6 Promises to Fire up your Passion, Ignite Your Career and Create an Amazing Life. James believes in God’s unique plan and potential for each human being, as well as the right to pursue it through systems designed for their success, and draws his purpose from this testament. #PurposeDrivenCareer #Careers #CareerAdvice #CareerGuidance #CareerManagement #Entrepreneurship #PurposeDrivenLeadership

Job satisfaction statistics have been challenged for years, often hovering in the 60%-70% range. I recall, when writing my first book, Success On Your Own Terms: 6 Promises to Fire Up Your Passion, Ignite Your Career, and Create an Amazing Life, back in 2013, how heavily that notion weight on my mind, that any given time while driving to work, I could count off the cars stuck in traffic with me, and at best, only three out of ten ...
