From doubling her time with her terminally ill son to saving her husband from an unnecessary amputation, retired RN MaryAnn Conley-Grant found a saving grace in natural medicine.
Beginning her healthcare career in 1983, MaryAnn practiced nursing for 38 years before retiring. During that time, MaryAnn had experiences with both traditional medicine, and then natural medicine when her son was diagnosed with a very rare genetic disease and again when her husband suffered a stage 4 wound to the foot while walking on the beach.
MaryAnn talks with me about her frustrating journey through traditional healthcare and gives listeners advice on how to advocate for themselves and use natural medicine for a smoother healthcare journey.
