“In the ICU unit [I] put up a wall… I call[ed] it a ‘Happiness Wall’; where people had to sign a little card and [tell] how they were sharing happiness and what they were grateful for. And quite honestly, I don't care if you were a doctor or a surgeon, a technician or a nurse, if you didn't sign my wall, you didn't work on my family member.”
This sums up the attitude Dr. Happyness has when it comes to patient advocacy and the healing powers of mindset in medicine. Dr. Happyness takes his experience advocating for a family member in the ICU and advocating for himself after being a rare recipient of a cardiac quintuple bypass surgery and helps others learn to take control of their health and advocate for themselves beginning with a positive mindset.
