In this episode, Dr. Mike talks about the cold weather dangers with our pets. Veterinarians around the U.S. agree that our pets should be indoors when temperatures go down to around 40 degrees. Even with a fur coat, they shouldn’t get that cold. But what we know is that pets can get frostbite, just like we can, if you leave them outside. Especially on the tips of their ears. Sweaters are important to keep them warm. Dr. Mike always talks about what to do with your outdoor-living animals in this episode of Animal General.
