Today's Listener Letter is sent in by "Metaphysically Minded in Manistee".
Dear Bellamy Black,
It has always been my dream to open my own metaphysical shop. Growing up in the 90’s I felt a romantic connection to the world of witchcraft, mostly encouraged by the tv shows and movies of my generation. One thing that really stood out to me was the occult store in the 1996 movie the craft. The store owner seemed ethereal, and powerful. She seemed wise and approachable. I longed for a shop that I could visit. A shop where I could offer myself as an apprentice to magic. But the closest I had was a head shop that sold incense. As I delved deeper into my craft, alone, I realized I longed for a place where I could feel community. A place where I could tell someone my dreams and discuss interpretations. A place where I could buy a cauldron or a rabbit's foot and not be looked at as some weirdo.
Currently I work for a corporate retail conglomerate…. I hate it. I've been reflecting on my life's trajectory and I keep going back to what spirit is telling me. Open up a Metaphysical store. So my question to you is this. Should I open a store? What are some of the challenges you face in your store? How were you received in your community? I am all ears and am eager to learn.
Thank you Bellamy!

Note from Host: Huzzah! This is our Second episode! We are so delighted to have made it to this point and can’t wait to see where this journey takes us. Huge Thank yous to our production crew and to our family and friends for showing up and supporting us! We couldn't have done this without you. A quick note about continuity: some of our guests refer to me as “Allie”, which is my everyday name, rather than “Bellamy”, which is my spirit name. Bellamy and Allie are actually one in the same, we will iron out this detail as we continue. Thank you for your understanding!

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
