(00:01):
Sleigh girl sleigh.
Welcome back to Goal Slayer.
I'm your host, Caitlin.
And babe, I am so happy to be here with you.
I am just coming off of a really exciting weekend.
My really good friend, Crystal, she's been on the show.
Y'all heard me talk about her.
We often are showing up in each other's Instagram.
(00:21):
Anyway, I call her my prima, which stands for cousin in Spanish.
She is definitely just my Latina soul sister who is
growing a really incredible community in Fresno, California.
Anyway, she every year has this really super energetic, fun cup filling event calledGalentine's.
(00:42):
And this happens to be the second year that I got the honor of joining.
Last year I was a speaker and this year I also got to be a speaker.
And there's so many things I wanna share with you all.
It's really, it was a full circle moment for me in many different ways, which I'm gonnatell you about.
(01:11):
But the biggest just anchor and reflection that I had all weekend is like, this is thechef's kiss.
This is what I worked so hard for.
This is the definition of success.
(01:32):
This is what it's like to live a life that you feel like you've had control in creating.
And I don't mean like in control of everything that happened, but like you called yourshots and you are now living your dream life.
And I think as an entrepreneur and as an ambitious human being, I am often...
(01:54):
looking into the future so much that I missed the present.
And this weekend, I was so fucking anchored in the present that it just lit me up from thetop of my head to the tips of my toes.
And it's just such a reminder on why it's so important to double down on the things thatlight you up and that bring you joy.
(02:19):
I
follow so many coaches that share constant posts about how much money their businessmakes, about how many deposits they got in their bank account that day.
And that's awesome.
I'm so happy for them.
But also, that used to be my definition of success.
And I realized pretty much when I had my money crisis in early 2023, when I was like, whatthe fuck am I doing?
(02:47):
I am putting myself in debt.
to try and like be this thing that I'm not, which is like this shiny blingy coach that haseverything figured out.
And it was really an identity shift for me.
Cause number one, it shit got real.
Like debt was real.
And also like it really made me feel misaligned there for a moment.
(03:11):
Cause I was pretending to like be something that I wasn't.
And anyway, I don't want to get like,
too far into that story because that's not what I'm talking about today with all of you.
What I really want to talk about is like living this aligned life and that success doesn'thave to be the path that everyone told us it was going to be.
(03:34):
And again, this weekend was a reminder of that.
And so if that is something you crave, like if you are just craving this life of freedom, this
life of real abundance, not just financial abundance, but like abundance of joy andabundance of relationships and abundance of experiences.
(03:58):
I want to invite you to join my Beyond Six Figure Blueprint Masterclass Experience.
You're going to find the link to that in the show notes.
It's all over my Instagram at The Beam Life.
But why I'm inviting you to this is that this is going to be a two day journey.
(04:19):
You and I are going to take together February 26th and 27th.
And I am going to show you over those two days, the formula that you need to create analigned life.
And aligned is a word that I feel like is really overused.
(04:40):
But what I mean by that is where you're
putting your actions.
Like basically putting your money where your mouth is, like you are putting action behindyour intention.
And also your goals won't feel so empty.
And what I mean by that is like, I have reached many levels in business and then gottenthere and I'm like, this is it.
(05:07):
This is like what I was doing.
And this is so not it.
Like I don't, what was, what was this all about?
So
I, know, if you're someone that has like constantly been hustling and you've done all thecourses and like you're doing all the things and you're on this like journey to reach this
(05:28):
like mysterious six figures in your business.
And it's just not feeling good in your body.
Like something has to change.
Cause I guarantee you, if it's not feeling good in your body right now, it's not going tofeel good when you get there.
And this masterclass is going to.
literally changed the game for you.
(05:48):
Two days, you and me, one hour each day, transformation.
Okay?
That is what I'm bringing to the table to you.
So this weekend is a perfect example of the kind of thing I'm going to teach you in thismasterclass.
So let me now tell you the story.
This was, uh, let's see, 2023, end of 2023.
(06:11):
And, um, I was invited to
speak on stage.
It was the first time it was a really big event.
I was on a panel for Keisha Gatmery, also known as Keisha Fitzgerald.
She was my coach at the time.
Many of you know who she is.
And if you don't, she's awesome host of empower her podcast.
(06:31):
And she was having an all women's event about 500 women.
And I got selected to be on a panel.
And on this panel was my good friend, Crystal, which is where we met.
And, know, we've been friends ever since and of course done a lot of business thingstogether.
(06:53):
But also at this event was another coach.
Her name is Amber Lilliestrom.
If you are not following her, highly recommend it.
She's just someone who completely practices what she preaches and lives what she coaches.
And I remember that she stood up on that stage.
(07:13):
I had never seen her before.
and brought her daughter and her daughter at the time was about maybe nine years old.
And that's a little like one year older than my daughter now.
And I was looking at the two of them and she was experienced that weekend with her kid.
Now my daughter was only like five at the time, but I thought to myself, one day I want tospeak on stage and have my daughter at the event with me.
(07:44):
And I want to be able to experience like all the things that I love to do, like breathwork and girl power and confidence and dancing and like connecting.
I want her to see that from the lens of a child, because I wish I had gotten exposure tothat and just known like how powerful you truly are beyond measure.
(08:07):
this was, I didn't even know personal development until in my twenties, right?
So
Again, let me take you back to this event.
I'm witnessing this beautiful thing, like tears, I'm sobbing.
I just find it so moving because of course at the end, the two of them sing the Sia song,Unstoppable together.
And I'm just like, literally I'm just a melt, melting like piece of mass just from crying.
(08:30):
It was so beautiful.
And I have held onto that image for a really long time.
The other challenging part to this that I'll add is that
My daughter is high functioning autistic.
Okay.
And so it's not easy to like just bring her to any event, especially if I'm by myself, because she has high needs and I need to make sure I'm available for that.
(08:55):
also to support her in lots of different ways.
So.
You know, I knew that if this was going to happen, it would have to be a very uniquescenario and I'd have to be invited to speak on stage.
Number one, like let's talk about that hurdle.
And then number two, it would need to be an environment that wasn't too big.
Number three, it would need to be somewhere that I felt comfortable and safe enough toexpose her to and like a nurturing community that I knew would like wrap their arms around
(09:26):
her too.
And so.
fast forward, you know, a couple of years later and Crystal asked me to speak again onthis panel and I got to bring my daughter and it was just this like really, really
(09:48):
beautiful full circle moment because I sat there and I soaked it all in for just a secondand remembered like
you created this babe, like you saw it in your brain.
I'm like teary-eyed as I say it, like you saw it and you knew that this could be yourstoo.
(10:09):
And I want to encourage you that if you have experienced something that has moved you sodeeply in a way that that moment moved me to...
Keep thinking about it.
Keep journaling on it.
Keep holding onto it.
Keep putting yourself in places and spaces and around people who will help make thatpossible.
(10:35):
What happened this past weekend was not a mistake.
It was complete divine universal alignment.
And it is something that I will never forget.
We shared not only the moment of me speaking, but also we got to do goddess night togetherwhere we did breath work and dancing and you know, she got to write her dream on the wall.
(11:03):
It was just such an expansive weekend and a thing that I will cherish and I feel so luckyto have created a business and life that
or I get to experience that.
And I want to let you know that's accessible to you too.
And that this didn't just like come to me overnight.
(11:24):
I have been showing up for my business every day for the last five years.
And I do not stop.
And let me fucking tell you, there have been some massive trials and tribulations and manyreasons why I could have just like thrown in the towel and said, it's time for me to go
get a job.
(11:46):
But that moment, those little moments I've had like this one along the way are suchreminders as to you get to be the designer of your life.
And that is why I've created this masterclass because I want that for you too.
And I realized many coaches are not teaching this.
(12:07):
They're teaching the funnels, the content, the bullshit.
And I don't mean to call it bullshit because it really is great.
but they're making it seem as like that's the reason why your quote unquote business isn'tworking.
Well, let me tell you, if you're not working, neither is your business.
So, okay, I'll get off my soapbox.
(12:29):
Anyway, the other thing I wanted to just bring up that I thought was very comical was thatCrystal put me on the rich girl panel.
And I find this so funny because I was really like,
almost intimidated when she told me the name of the panel, which I didn't know until likethree days before the event.
(12:49):
And I was like, are you sure?
And it's not because, you know, it's not because of anything, but like I've had suchmoney, like interesting relationship with money, especially since like my whole like
unearthing of everything that happened in 2023 and just this like
(13:11):
massive debt and this imposter syndrome and like all this stuff.
So I was like, wait, me?
Like, are you sure?
Me?
And not only did we talk about like building wealth in your business, but also like whatdoes wealth mean to us?
And I thought that was such a, you know, rich, like what is a rich life?
And it was very rewarding to know that like the
(13:39):
three year version ago of me would have said something like so masculine, like it's about, you know, having all these clients and like, you know, having a big bank account and be
able to like fly first class and like buy the designer bags and like all of that stuff.
And like truly none of that actually even fucking matters to me.
What matters to me is being able to have a business that I get to spend time with mydaughter and my family.
(14:10):
and work with clients and people that I love so deeply and whose businesses I get to be apart of.
I mean, I had two clients there this weekend who I could not be more proud of.
I'm proud of all my clients, but like when I get to be with them in person, it's so fun towatch how they like experience things and the ideas that they get and the new things they
(14:32):
wanna bring to our session and.
A really big one was my client and friend, Mickey, who when we first started to workingtogether, like only dreamt of creating this clothing line.
And like, she was like, one day I want to sell it at an event at a women's event.
And like, she did it, y'all.
She did it.
Like she literally shout out passion threads, had her merch at this event and like had anincredible sell through over 50 % of her merch.
(15:02):
and I got to watch her do that.
Like, this is what I'm talking about.
Creating a life that you want and using your business as the vehicle.
Not the other way around.
Life always comes first.
(15:23):
Business second, but it will always feel like your business is winning.
So again, I...
just wanted to share that like be present.
Sometimes like again, we're looking too far in the future.
Remember where your feet are.
Find some really big gratitude for how far you've come because you certainly are fartherthan where you were.
(15:46):
I promise you just got to like stop and acknowledge that.
And if you're wanting to build your business, but also live the best fucking life likethis masterclass has your name on it.
And I hope I see you there.
next week, February 26th and 27th.
If you are a fan of the show and you like this episode, I would be so grateful if youwould go and leave a review for me or follow the show on Spotify because this is what
(16:14):
helps a show like this grow.
It helps other people find us.
It helps us build community.
And it would mean more than anything to have your support in doing that.
All right, babe, I will see you back here next week.
We're going to have a kick-ass guest episode for you.
I love you so, so, so much.
(16:35):
Never forget it.
Be grateful, stay humble, and find something good that's going on in your world.
I love you.
