Receita de Arroz Doce de Rosa’s Portuguese Kitchen

Ingredientes:

  • 1L de água
  • 200g de arroz
  • 200g de açúcar
  • 1 Pau de canela
  • 1 colher de margarina
  • Sal quanto basta
  • 1 casca de 1 limão
  • 6 gemas de ovo
  • 1L de leite

Instruções:

  1. Num tacho, coloque um litro de água, uma pitada de sal, um pau de canela e três cascas de limão. Leve ao lume até ferver.
  2. Depois, junte o arroz e deixe cozer durante quinze minutos.
  3. Ferva o leite à parte.
  4. Quando a água evaporar, junte o leite quente e a margarina.
  5. Adicione o açúcar, mexa bem e retire do lume.
  6. Bata as gemas com um pouco de leite morno.
  7. Junte as gemas à mistura de arroz. Leve novamente ao lume por 3 minutos.
  8. Retire a casca de limão e o pau de canela.
  9. Coloque numa travessa e decore com canela em pó.

Rosa’s Portuguese Kitchen Arroz Doce Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1L of water
  • 200g of rice
  • 200g of sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 tablespoon margarine
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 lemon peel
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 1L of milk

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, place one liter of water, a pinch of salt, a cinnamon stick, and three lemon peels. Bring to a boil.
  2. Then, add the rice and let it cook for fifteen minutes.
  3. Separately, boil the milk.
  4. When the water evaporates, add the hot milk and margarine.
  5. Add the sugar, stir well, and remove from heat.
  6. Whisk the egg yolks with a little warm milk.
  7. Add the egg yolks to the rice mixture. Bring back to heat for 3 minutes.
  8. Remove the lemon peel and cinnamon stick.
  9. Place in a serving dish and decorate with ground cinnamon.
