Speaker 2 (00:24):
You know him as the OG of one of the
hit shows on Bravo TV, Vanda Pump Rules.
Speaker 3 (00:29):
But he's not that. He's not just that.
Speaker 2 (00:32):
He is the king of reality TV, having his own
empire and network, creating Reality Network, which is a new
hot thing right now for up and coming talent and
established talent to showcase their stories on his network. He's
also created one of the most amazing and awesome bar
competition bar competition shows, bar Brawl. And that's not all.
(00:53):
He's hot, he's smart, he's funny. He's not single. Ladies,
I don't know about that. We're gonna get into it.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
Please have me.
Speaker 2 (00:59):
Welcome Peter Magical, everybody to the building.
Speaker 1 (01:03):
How are you the we go baby?
Speaker 4 (01:04):
Love it? Love it? You do it now?
Speaker 3 (01:06):
You guys, what was that in show? Was it good?
Was it good?
Speaker 4 (01:09):
That was fantastic? Thank you, Thank you? For that.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
Cheers to you, Cheers thank you for First of all,
thank you for doing this, because I want to say
something to the audience.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
The audience is obsessed with you.
Speaker 2 (01:18):
They've been asking and requesting for you, but you don't
do many interviews, like You're pretty hard to get.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
I uh, yeah, I know it's because I'm always busy.
But if you give me like a zoom call like this,
then I will definitely be doing it.
Speaker 4 (01:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (01:33):
Yeah, but it's been it's been. It's been quite uh,
it's been quite the intense. Twenty twenty five has been
kind of crazy, you know.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
Right now.
Speaker 1 (01:43):
So I shot three episodes of my own show, and
I need to finish that up. I'm gonna do six
episodes total for Outside the Rules, which is my own
TV show Love and then and So I did one
of the big episodes was in Greece, So I did
the Grease episode. And then and then I did an
(02:03):
entire season, twelve episodes of Barbral Like you said, yeah,
so that is being edited right now. It's going to
be phenomenal. I already have some. I already have some
a completed edited episode thirty minutes long because it was
a we have enough we have enough footage for an
hour episode, but I'm like, no, we need to do
it thirty minutes, you know, because attention spans and all that.
(02:26):
You know, I'll push to forty. That means if goes
on a network, it gets commercial time and you know
that that gives it an hour viewing. But yeah, so
that that's something that That's another thing that I've been
working on. I'm also looking for possibly a restaurants, you know,
to take over. We'll see if that when that happens,
I've been doing that on the side as well. Just
(02:48):
just a lot of stuff, you know, just a lot
of stuff.
Speaker 2 (02:51):
But now this is all airing, correct me if I'm wrong.
This is all airing on your network, reality network.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
Yeah, and now let's make a deal, or less I
make a deal with another network. You know, I'm I'm
may be the CEO of the network, but my job
is to make sure the network makes money. If there's
more eyeballs on Barbara with another network, that's fine.
Speaker 2 (03:14):
You know, I love a value. Yes, you're very fair,
you're very open. You're a business man. You're not about I.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Like, you know, I may own this network, but if
you're offering me this and there's more eyeballs on it.
It can always go to mind because I own the
I own it, you know which.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
By the way, when we had talked, I remember we
had met at actually, sir, and you were so hospitable
with me and so nice, and you had given me
great advice, Like you were like, listen, it's not about ego.
If you can be talent and then get an opportunity
to do something else, even if you own something like
Shanel in the City, you bring Shanel in the City
to Reality Network. By the way, stay tuned for that, guys,
because we're going to be doing something together.
Speaker 3 (03:51):
But you said, you're like.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
You can still be fair and open, and I think
that's how you make it in Hollywood because I asked you.
I'm like, that's another thing I'm impressed about. How do
you juggle like you do because you still work restaurants,
you still manage, you still consult.
Speaker 1 (04:03):
Yeah, still do all that. Plus you're doing I'm actually
heading to Fresno for the last time this year to
to guest bartend over there uh at the Fairway Lunch,
which is kind of bittersweet because I was doing it
for like a few Uh. The entire year actually from February,
and all of a sudden it's coming gone, and I'm
(04:24):
just like, wow, I can't believe that it's already over.
But you know, it's uh, it was fun while it lasted,
you know, onto the next, onto the next thing, onto
the next consulting thing.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
But if there's one.
Speaker 1 (04:33):
Thing I do know in this world that I mean,
I'm a jack of all trades. I mean, for God's sakes,
I even have a real estate license in the state
of California. I love.
Speaker 2 (04:41):
That's something people don't know, Like, wait a minute, you
could be on the next show.
Speaker 3 (04:46):
What is that? This show?
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Yeah, like I have, Like you can go on the
d r E, on the California d r E and
you can look me up Peter J.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
Madrigal and you'll find my information.
Speaker 2 (04:56):
But that's what's so cool, because you've been such a hustler.
When I say hust so you've been working your ass
off from such a young age and such different fields hospitality.
Speaker 3 (05:04):
Real estate, acting, film.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
I don't think people realize you have to be a
jack of all trades to even make a to get
a break, do you know what I mean?
Speaker 1 (05:12):
Like, I mean have to be in my opinion, you
have to be a hard worker, right, that's what you
have to be. You have to you have to work consistently.
Speaker 4 (05:19):
I was what do you call it?
Speaker 1 (05:23):
I was observing, like I've always watched, like, you know,
different podcasts and like Taken and Taken.
Speaker 4 (05:29):
And the one thing that I will say.
Speaker 1 (05:31):
That I kind of picked up without even listening to
any get help books or reading anything like that. And
I've always read those type of books like rich that
portad et cetera. Is. Uh, my favorite was four hour
work Week. I read that a long time ago, and
I should revisit some of these books that I have.
Speaker 4 (05:47):
I've just been so busy. I don't have time.
Speaker 1 (05:50):
But some people have asked me before, how do you
get everything all of this done? How do you get
all of this done? And I'm like, okay, so look
at your day, right, So you you sleep for seven hours, right,
you work out for one two Today I worked out
for one and I just couldn't move.
Speaker 4 (06:10):
Because that's how exhausted I am.
Speaker 1 (06:12):
You work out for one two hours, so there's twenty
four hours in the day, seven to eight of those
where you're sleeping too. And then if you want to
work out yet one to two more right, so you're
looking at ten hours total, So two hours of the
active time of your day is dedicated to working out.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
So what are the.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Other what are the other twelve hours of your thirteen
fourteen hours?
Speaker 4 (06:35):
What are you doing for those hours?
Speaker 1 (06:38):
Right?
Speaker 2 (06:38):
And what I wanted to ask you, do you think
most people are distracted and make excuses because, like you said, you.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Can do it.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
Yeah, right, yeah, I mean unless you work at nine
to five, like, there's no excuse, you know what I mean. Why,
That's why I'm doing all this other stuff because my
mind and my mind can take it too. I am
able to multitask like a crazy person. It's it's even
my brother or he doesn't. He doesn't multitask. He's a
very creative. He's a creative. But but yeah, I'm I'm
(07:05):
I'm just uh, I work on multiple projects at once.
You know. Yesterday I had a meeting with about about
and I'm wanting I'm wanting to hear back about a
possible movie thing, and then hopeful of a restaurant thing.
Will see what happens with that, and then I have
a possible coin.
Speaker 4 (07:23):
Yeah, just a lot of stuff, you know.
Speaker 2 (07:25):
And we talked about acting. I mean, I hope to
see you doing acting. I think I think that you're
not an actor.
Speaker 4 (07:31):
No, I mean I don't know.
Speaker 3 (07:32):
I could see you, Peter.
Speaker 1 (07:34):
I can host, I can host, but reading a reading
a script and regurgitating the lines, it just doesn't.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
It doesn't. I don't, I don't, I can't really do it.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
You're more of the like c Yes, CEO of the company,
like the networks, Like you want to be a builder,
you want.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
To be, but I can be on camera too. So
like on Barbarol, for instance, I was the producer of it.
I got it done right, got the whole thing wrapped
up in a nice uh package with a boat. And
then I was also the host. So I was producing
it and I was the host, and I was doing
all the stuff, every all the.
Speaker 3 (08:05):
Things, which right away I love.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Also that you're giving people like me, like other people
like up and comers on your network to be able
to do that, because at once upon a time it
was taboo to be a producer and a host, or
a producer and a talent on a show. Right Like
people always said, pick your lane. I mean, like, what
are your thoughts about that? Like I feel like old
school versus news I don't have I.
Speaker 1 (08:27):
Like that that's old school thinking. I can if you're
if you're able to do it all, you can do
it all. Gordon Ramsey, for instance, he produces and he's
on his own show, you know, but he You're not
going to tell me that he does not have a
hand in the producing department for Master Chef or Kischen Nightmares.
Speaker 2 (08:43):
Right, Like, you have to know how to do it all.
Let's talk about the beginnings of you, because like it started,
like so you working for vander Pump. You worked for
vander promp Lisa vander Pomp, you worked for her restaurants.
Do you think it was something that you always wanted
to do? Be in hospitality? Did you think about reality TV? Even?
Speaker 1 (08:59):
Do you just want to just I always want to
be in the entertainments. I always wanted to be I
always wanted to be in entertainment.
Speaker 4 (09:07):
I always had.
Speaker 1 (09:08):
That that desire to get into that you know, from
a young age, and and and then you know, after
you've been on it for a while. I mean I
accomplished a lot of my goals that I wanted since
I was a kid. At the age of forty, So
when you wake up one day because I'm forty two,
you wake up at forty or like, wait a second,
(09:29):
what's the next goal?
Speaker 4 (09:30):
What do I need to do next? You know?
Speaker 1 (09:31):
Yeah, yeah, it's kind of like wait, hold on, did
I what's the next you know? So so yeah, so
I am pivoting into a different direction in my in
my in my life. And you know, being on camera
is not as important to me anymore. I mean I
do it, you know, but it's not as important ass
(09:53):
you know, building something big like my reality reality network
or you know, acquire you know, different things like those
those are my true passions now.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
But do you think, like, for instance, I was in
hospitality too, Like do you think being a waiter and
a manager and all these learning all this stuff helps
you become kind of a full well rounded artist or
worse really.
Speaker 1 (10:16):
And you're able to you're able to really start communicating
with everybody, communicating with people on a one to one basis.
Speaker 4 (10:22):
You know, you're able to start doing that. You know,
it's not just.
Speaker 1 (10:30):
What do you call it, you're you don't you're not
one note. You're able to really like learn how to
how to be yourself in those situations and you're able
to become a people person, which is basically you know,
everyone wants that, and I'm opinion at least I hope.
Speaker 3 (10:46):
Everybody loves you.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
I mean, I remember when I was at sir, everybody
wanted to come and just take a picture with you,
and you were like, I'm actually really working, guys, like
I'm literally managed, which was so impressive because to me,
I'm like, wow, like he's been on TV. He doesn't
make excuses that he has to still work because a
lot of times, like I was on Reality TV for
one season and then you get this prideful like shameful.
Everybody's like, oh wait, you are not celebrit You're not
(11:09):
a celebrity, and then you have to go back to
real life and you're like, what job is going to
take me? Like I was going to ask you, like
what's your advice to people if they're like I've done it?
But now I don't have a break and I need
a job.
Speaker 3 (11:19):
Where do I work?
Speaker 1 (11:20):
There's nothing, there's nothing wrong. There's nothing wrong with working right.
I don't understand that. There's there's really nothing like anybody like,
oh you know, oh you didn't make it, well okay, yeah,
so I need some money, So I need to make
some money. So this is the only way I need.
This is the only way I know how to make money,
So just suck it up and do it. In my opinion,
that's that's the way I look at it. I look
(11:40):
at it through the lenses like, well, there's if someone's
writing on you for doing a job, that means that
I don't know where they're coming from, you know, and
you don't know someone's circumstances. You don't know what's going
on in the back behind the scenes, you don't know
if they're actually working on something.
Speaker 3 (11:54):
Else, correct, like a film, right, So, I.
Speaker 1 (11:58):
Mean a lot of people they they I think a
lot of people have looked at me over the years
and been like, oh, he's just a restaurant manager and
that's all he's going to be.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
And I'm just like, it's funny, You're funny.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
Because right now, look what you're doing, you're building reality network,
and like it doesn't happen overnight.
Speaker 3 (12:14):
That's always my own.
Speaker 1 (12:15):
Doesn't you know?
Speaker 2 (12:16):
You had to invest your own money probably over time
as well as a business owner, which isn't.
Speaker 1 (12:20):
Easy, No, it's not so so yeah, so I have
that and then like you know. Now I'm building up
shows and I've got some other opportunities that have come
across my desk, and uh, you know, and I still
go to Sir.
Speaker 4 (12:32):
I'm gonna be at SIR on Thursday night.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
I was going to say, are you still working at sir?
Because people want to know. Are they love to see you?
Do you think you would make an appearance back on
the new van of pump Roles. A lot of people
are asking.
Speaker 1 (12:43):
That you want me if they want me?
Speaker 2 (12:47):
Do you but if even if you're the manager, isn't
that a possibility since you manage Thursday nights because it's
real meaning there's a possibility for you to be.
Speaker 4 (12:55):
Invol depends on what they want. Like I'm I'm doing
my own thing.
Speaker 2 (12:59):
Now, right, And how do you feel? How do you
feel the show has changed? Are you excited for the
new cast? You?
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Yeah, I'm excited for them. But at the same time,
it's like they got to they better be ready what
they better be ready for what's gonna come.
Speaker 3 (13:13):
Right, because this is no easy ship, honey.
Speaker 2 (13:14):
Hospitality is let me tell you, I thought comedy was cutthroat.
Hospitality is beyond like like like like peh, no if you.
Speaker 1 (13:23):
Think about everything's cutthroat. Everything everything's cutthroat. If you don't
think that one industry is cut throat, you're fooling yourself.
Real estate's cutthroat. My dad was a lawyer, that's cut
Do you want to talk about cutthroat?
Speaker 4 (13:37):
Do you think the entertainment industry's cutthroat? Try to becoming
a lawyer?
Speaker 2 (13:41):
What is your tip? That's what I'm gonna say, because
you've always been nice and like your character has always
been good, Like, what's your tip to still succeed? But
like cope with cutthroat? Like I don't know how to.
Speaker 1 (13:51):
Cope with it well? In my opinion, you have to
a be a hard worker and always be true to yourself. Okaha,
outwork the other people. I remember watching because I'm a
big NFL guy. I remember watching, uh this this story
about Chris Carter, who is one of the white He
used to play for both the Philadelphia Eagles and the
(14:11):
Minnesota Vikings, all right, and he ended his career with
Minnesota and his number one competition and this guy is
one of the greatest wide receivers everybody never won a
Super Bowl. And his main competition that he was competing
against was Jerry Rice. Okay, Jerry Rice is the greatest
or one of at least in my opinion, of the greatest,
if not one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history.
(14:33):
And uh and that's because he worked harder than everybody
else because he was from small school, a carn acorn. Uh,
So nobody knew who he was. You know, he came
out of the draft and he outworked everybody. And Chris
Carter was like, well, I live I live on the
East coast. He lives on the West coast. So if
I'm able to wake up a few hours earlier than him,
(14:54):
I'm working out working Jerry Rice. So it's a hard
work and all about being to yourself.
Speaker 3 (15:00):
In my opinion, I agree.
Speaker 2 (15:02):
I think that's what's the long game and not rushing it,
not like always like having patience. Yeah, can you give
us a little bit of an insight on the new
Have you met the new cast a vander Palm? Oh,
how do you feel do you feel they're gonna Do
you feel they're gonna mount to the originals?
Speaker 3 (15:19):
Like you be honest, like, I hope that for their.
Speaker 1 (15:22):
I hope for their sake that they do.
Speaker 2 (15:24):
I hope for their sake, because the Bravo fans ain't
ain't mercy.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
Yeah, yeahs are there?
Speaker 4 (15:33):
Yeah cut through.
Speaker 3 (15:35):
Do you think we'll see the ogs on there or
we don't know yet? No?
Speaker 4 (15:38):
I don't think so.
Speaker 1 (15:40):
Yeah, the Bravo fans are uh yeah, you better bring
your a game.
Speaker 3 (15:47):
Why do you think the Bravo fans love They love
you so much? They really do. It's like, I feel
like you're the voice of reason.
Speaker 4 (15:54):
For one thing.
Speaker 1 (15:55):
I think that unlike everybody else that was on the show,
I think I'm more accessible. Okay, you know, I.
Speaker 3 (16:02):
Enjoyed like you're more real, like you're more yeah accessible.
Speaker 1 (16:05):
Yeah, and I enjoyed meeting fans too. I I've always
loved it. I've always enjoyed it. Of course, it can
be rough at times when you're working and at the
same time trying to take pictures with everybody. But the
one thing that everyone that everyone knew and it was constant,
was oh, Peter's going to be at sir, and Peter's
going to be be able to take pictures with you
at sir.
Speaker 3 (16:26):
Yeah, it's like you're the face of sir.
Speaker 2 (16:30):
You kind of out joked the whole cast because right
you are the real access. You have to be accessible
if you also want to be a reality TV figure.
You can't just be like, hey, I'm reality TV, but
you can never access me.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
That doesn't work either.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
No, So for me, it's always been it's always been, Yeah,
I'm able to be found at one place and you
know where to find me.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
Do you any anybody you're in touch with from the
old cast or that you know that you have been
and had a long standing friendship that you still you know,
are in touch with or talk to.
Speaker 1 (17:06):
Nope, Lisa Ah the best one.
Speaker 3 (17:10):
You know, You're like, you're like me because I had that.
Speaker 2 (17:12):
Remember I was on that show Princesses, and I only
I never really talked to anyone except for like the
executive producer or something, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (17:19):
Lisa vander Pump is the only person I talked to really.
I mean, I had a conversation the other day with
Tom Schwartz, but that said. You know it's funny is
that Back in June for my birthday, I went out
to Greece and I was filming part of the episode
of Outside the Roles in Greece.
Speaker 4 (17:34):
It was it's episode three.
Speaker 1 (17:36):
And so so I went out there and uh, the
last day, the last day of filming light. I had
been up since four o'clock in the morning because we
want to get some some sunrise shots in a lot
in Ea, which is a northern town at Santorini, which
where we were at. And the last shot was south Santorini.
(18:02):
So it's safe shaped like a like a half half.
The whole thing is a volcano, but it's shaped like
a C of the direction, and so we were at
the southern part of the island of Santorini. I cannot
remember for the life of me, with the name of
the what the name of the restaurant was, but I
made myself a drink and I'm putting it out there
(18:22):
on social media that I'm in Santorini. I made myself
a drink and sat outside and got the last shot.
It was sunset shot, and it was like the close
of the episode, and I actually, I have to finish
watching the episode. I'd just been so busy, I haven't
even concentrated on my own TV show that's gonna go
on Reality Network. And then there was a wedding happening
(18:43):
like literally hit next door, all right, and I kind
of knew them, you know, the the the wedding party.
Speaker 4 (18:52):
The maid of.
Speaker 1 (18:52):
Honor hit me up. She's all like, Peter, you gotta come,
you gotta come.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Over, you gotta ad.
Speaker 1 (18:57):
So basically I went and crashed this wedding right and
I met of course, like I walk in and everyone's like, oh,
Peter's coming, Peter's coming, And the groom he's all, I
don't know if I want someone like Peter here at
a reality star and they're all, you no, I know,
Peter's cool. So so I get there right and the
first person I meet is the groom. He's like, how's
(19:18):
it going. I was like, good, congratulations, you know. Sorry
I couldn't bring a gift, but you know what, you know.
So at the end of it, the groom was all,
I love this guy. This guy's awesome. I was like,
thank you. It reminded me of a real life wedding crashers,
And this is like the third wedding I've crashed. But
we're at the reception, after dinner, at the reception, getting
(19:40):
some drinks at the bar, the bride'smaids, the.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
Maid of honor.
Speaker 1 (19:46):
I always forget that that term of maid of honor,
and the and the bride come up to me and
they're all like, Peter, because you FaceTime Lisa vander Pump
And I'm all like, yeah, I've been a little toasty
at this point in time, you know. I'm literally like, yeah, sure,
I'll text her and see what she says. Right, So
I text Lisa and I'm like, hey, you know, would
(20:08):
you want to hop on a FaceTime? I'm at this wedding, right,
So they take my phone and they're gonna take a
picture of group picture, you know, selfie with me, and
all of a sudden on the phone appears Lisa Vana
Park right, and they all start freaking out face timing
me and answer freaking out. I'm like answer it, answer
that right, And so they answer it and and everyone's like, oh,
(20:30):
I love you Lisa.
Speaker 4 (20:31):
Blah blah blah.
Speaker 1 (20:32):
Right, and they take a take a screenshot of it
for the bride, and bride takes a screenshot for herself,
you know, and and then she's like, I love.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
You guys too. Where's pieceaf. It's like, I'm here, Lisa,
what's up. She's all like, why was it? I invite
it to the wedding.
Speaker 3 (20:53):
That's like the best gift you can give.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
That's like a price is the bride.
Speaker 4 (20:57):
It comes over me.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
So but the bride comes over, She's all like, Peter,
that was the best gift ever. Wow, I was like wealth, that.
Speaker 3 (21:06):
Was like a live cameo. That was so cool. That
was really nice of you.
Speaker 2 (21:10):
But that's what I'm saying, Like, that's so genuine, Like
not every celebrity would do that with with connections they have,
like you know what I mean, like to make a fan.
Speaker 3 (21:18):
Or somebody feel good or happy.
Speaker 1 (21:20):
I think that's really well, people feel good, it's fun. Yeah,
it's good in my opinion, But yeah, do you.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Feel like you're hurt? Like, do you feel like, so
that's good, You're you're in good standing with her. So
do you feel like you have a lot of projects?
Speaker 1 (21:32):
Do you think the only one the only one that's
ever come to her defense?
Speaker 3 (21:36):
Right? Why do you think that?
Speaker 2 (21:39):
Do you think of a real a realer relationship. Maybe
because you're really like because you're the one.
Speaker 4 (21:44):
With that's you know, everyone had a relationship with her.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Everybody had a relationship with her, and you know, like
certain people I'm not going to name names, but certain
people have come out in the last couple of months
against her, and I'm literally like, no, I'm good. No, No,
You're not going to come after the queen like that.
Speaker 4 (21:59):
Sorry?
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Right, yeah, you know who's going to be the one.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
I'm going to be the one to come out and
say something, now, you know. And my words carry weight.
It's not like, you know, because I'm the most consistent
person on the entire show. Everyone else is a flip flopper.
Speaker 2 (22:15):
Yeah, that's what I was going to ask you, Like,
how did you maintain being so consistent even with bad
influences or just distractions, Like it's easy to get caught, right,
So like.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
How did what? What's your focus? Like, what do you do?
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (22:26):
I think because you weren't a yes man to everyone.
If somebody did something shitty, you were like you did
it shitty. But the way I respected you is like
you didn't yell, you didn't scream, you were just like
you did a shitty Yeah you to.
Speaker 1 (22:38):
But my words carry weight because I come up from
an authoritative place. You know, I.
Speaker 4 (22:45):
Don't know, I've never been. Here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (22:47):
One thing about me is I always have marched to
the tune of my own drum. Yes, I don't follow crap.
I just I never have.
Speaker 4 (22:56):
So because of that, I'm able to stay out because.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
For instance, sometimes uh, sometimes some people will be like, oh, oh, Peter,
there's a party going on and you want to go. Like, no,
I have an early day tomorrow, I have a workout
to do. Or Peter, you want to go to a party.
It depends on what I got going tomorrow. Sure, yeah
let's go.
Speaker 4 (23:14):
You know.
Speaker 1 (23:15):
So I have that ability to say no, let's not
do that, or yes, that's fine, let's have some fun.
Speaker 4 (23:20):
You know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (23:21):
I don't have to I don't have to follow the crowd.
I'm just doing my thing. If I feel like it,
I'm going to do it.
Speaker 2 (23:28):
I think that's important though for the younger generations.
Speaker 1 (23:31):
As an example, I'm on I go five six months
a year dry, okay.
Speaker 3 (23:39):
Like sober.
Speaker 1 (23:41):
Yeah, wow, I'm I'm on that right now, you know.
And don't get me wrong, I am not a monk.
I love drinking. Hell monks invented invented beer for great
for classics.
Speaker 3 (23:53):
That's a good joke.
Speaker 1 (23:56):
But here's the thing. I don't drink like like I
used to when I was on the show. I don't
drink like that.
Speaker 4 (24:01):
Anymore.
Speaker 1 (24:03):
I drink when I want to. But a couple of
weeks ago, I was I had to work a brunch
because all the managers are like all over the place,
so I had to work a brunch and I haven't
worked a bunch in years and since like twenty twenty two.
Speaker 4 (24:19):
And so I did it.
Speaker 1 (24:20):
And then everyone was like, Peter, let's go for a
drink at Tom Tom And I literally was like, well,
I can't because I'm not drinking. They're like, oh, you
can spare one day. I'm like no, no, no, no, no,
it's already been. It's only been one week, you know.
At this point, it was like four days four days
in because I start at the last end of I
start at the end of the month and continue on
just in case I have a mess up. And I'm like, okay,
(24:42):
all right, you know, but so I get a hit
start on the month. So this dry September started in August,
right at the tail end of August, and I told
them no, I'm I'm not drinking right now. They're like, well,
you can come and just hang out, and so I didn't,
went and.
Speaker 4 (24:58):
Got a the water.
Speaker 2 (25:01):
But how do you not have fomo like the fear
of missing out right, like can you share tips like
whether you're famous?
Speaker 3 (25:09):
Yeah, I don't know how to do.
Speaker 4 (25:14):
There will be another party.
Speaker 2 (25:16):
As a guerancy, Okay, that's a good one to have.
There will be another party.
Speaker 3 (25:20):
What if you're like, what about that specific night when
everyone's like, oh, you should have been there, you missed out?
Like how do you psychological?
Speaker 1 (25:27):
They say, because because I've been there before? Right, Okay,
I guess it comes from a from an age from
me as as an older man, I've been there before,
So those type of stories will happen again, right, And
I'm the one that has perpetrated those type of parties.
(25:48):
I remember one party that we did. We we we
used to live at this uh this apartment building with
a with a rooftop, like a rooftop balcony type deal,
and we had a huge party over there and you
could hear the music for like a four block radius.
We got shut down by helicopters. Yeah, this was when
I was back in my younger days. And I go
(26:10):
back to Sir. I remember going back to Sir because
I invited everybody from Sir. I was all like, oh,
you should go to the party, right, And then I
was like, you guys should have been there, you had
you should have major fomo right now.
Speaker 3 (26:21):
You started the phomo.
Speaker 2 (26:22):
Yeah, you started the trend, right because it's always someone
who creates the parties that has to has to start
that so that you come back to the parties and
you don't want to right.
Speaker 3 (26:33):
I'm very big on fomo, but I so yeah, yeah.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
So everyone was all like, wait, what happened, Peter. It
was all like we got shut down by police helicopters.
Speaker 2 (26:42):
Holy shit, that's like serious.
Speaker 4 (26:45):
Yeah, They're like what that's huge.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
I was like, yeah, that's the way that So, so
I'm the I'm kind of like one of the people
that you know that that that because I've already been there.
That's why I'm like, well, I'm not gonna have fomo
right now, because there will be another party, you know,
and if it's a part of that I really need
to go to.
Speaker 4 (27:06):
I'm not drinking.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
If I'm dry, if i'm if i'm if i'm drinking,
that month the cool awesome, let's let's rock and roll,
like casey point. I've been to a couple of Like
I was at a bunch of parties in January. I'm dry, January,
but I was still at some parties drinking my soda water,
you know. But I'm like you.
Speaker 2 (27:23):
Too, I'm doing dru I'm sober. I've been sober for
four months. But it's not because I'm not a drinker.
It's because I like to do sober stuff like not drink.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
Get your life.
Speaker 2 (27:33):
Yes, you like to be healthy also, it's a health thing,
not even a weight thing. It's I want to look younger.
I want to look that fit, you know, you want
to feel. I agree with you when you're like there
was one night I did a comedy show and a
lot of comedians like to stay out at night, especially
the celebrity ones, and you know, you want to hang
out with them because you can technically network, open up.
And I remember with Chappelle's party and his management team
(27:55):
was like Chanelle stay, and I had such a hard
time saying no, but I knew the next day I
had a passing call at seven am. I had to
be feeling good, and I picked being sober over that.
And sometimes that's the sacrifice. But like you said, if
you know the management team, you'll have another night. Or
if I went out with you and we couldn't go out.
I would call you and say, Peter, let's let's reschedule.
(28:15):
And I'm sure you would reschedule.
Speaker 3 (28:17):
Do you know what I'm saying?
Speaker 4 (28:18):
Yeah, exactly, that's.
Speaker 3 (28:20):
Amazing that you pick it.
Speaker 2 (28:21):
Let's also talk about Reality Network, like, I want to
know the inspiration.
Speaker 3 (28:25):
So what made you want to start Reality Network?
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Like?
Speaker 3 (28:27):
What was the whole inspiration?
Speaker 1 (28:28):
I mean I just wanted to get some of my
shows made and started like start doing that. So that
was basically the inspiration behind it. Just get started to
start on something new and being able to run my
own life essentially.
Speaker 2 (28:41):
Yeah, because networks own you like other networks own you basically.
Speaker 4 (28:47):
So if I want to make another TV show and
put it out there, I can right.
Speaker 2 (28:51):
And now are you using it like quick social media?
A one camera format? How does it go? Do people just.
Speaker 1 (28:57):
Oh no, it's I mean like with certain shows it
can be one or format and then other shows it
can be like two cameras. Yeah, but I mean I
have a bunch of TV shows on there. You should
go check it out. Really Network dot TV.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
Yes, we're gonna check it out. Also, God willing stay
tuned to me and Peter. We're going to try to
collaborate on some stuff because I love your network. I
think it's a great platform too for actual talent. You
know that you give an option. Let me ask you this,
what do you think the difference is? Like, I guess
how do you become a successful reality TV star? In
(29:29):
your opinion because you've seen it all? So like, what's
your advice to be if somebody wants to become a
you know, a successful reality.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
We have to be compelling, okay, you know, unique and
compelling in my opinion. Do you notice like one of
my main traits that I have is my long hair.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
Yes, I love your long hair.
Speaker 4 (29:51):
Crab baby, stand out in the crowd.
Speaker 2 (29:53):
Also, what you said, you know my sister actually she
loves you. And she told me that her and her
husband came to sir one night because you know, we
were friends, and she said, let me tell you something.
Peter was so gracious and amazing. He's the same person
on camera off and that's the person that's more lovable.
And she was so touched at night because you made
her night that you were so real and authentic and
(30:16):
you said, Hi, you probably don't remember, but you spoke
to them and you asked them how they were, and
you made their experience not only at the dinner really memorable,
but like you just being their favorite person on the show.
Speaker 3 (30:26):
And then they realized, So that I think is important.
Speaker 2 (30:29):
People can't be fake on stage like I tell comics,
and then off stage you're a bad person.
Speaker 3 (30:34):
Like it doesn't work.
Speaker 1 (30:35):
You know, no, it doesn't.
Speaker 4 (30:38):
You have to be true to yourself.
Speaker 3 (30:40):
How do you?
Speaker 2 (30:41):
And also the audience wants to know what are your
thoughts about the valley because I know a lot of people.
Speaker 4 (30:45):
Have that's done with me.
Speaker 1 (30:48):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (30:48):
I already it was quoted.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
I quoted it as being garbage years ago.
Speaker 2 (30:54):
I'm sorry I did not see that, but you know,
like we'll see how it turns out.
Speaker 3 (31:01):
Now, would you appear on that or you don't feel
that's free?
Speaker 2 (31:04):
No?
Speaker 3 (31:04):
So I like how you are.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
I'm sorry, that's funny but also like kind of funny
but yeah, like passive, but I guess what I like. Also,
what I got to start learning in other people is
like there's times you can say no to things just
because they're popular shows, and there's times you can say
yes to things, Like you don't have to say yes
to everything, you know what I mean? Anything you want
to comment on that's going on in reality TV now
(31:31):
where you feel you want to make a different with
your network.
Speaker 1 (31:37):
There's a lot of stuff going on, but I just
want to, uh, I want to see where this this
network heads, you know what I mean. And I want
to just continue producing my own TV shows and making
my own content. So we'll see what happens in the
next couple of months.
Speaker 2 (31:50):
And barbar Yeah, you want to give us a little
taste about what Barbara's about, so we can start.
Speaker 1 (31:55):
Yeah, So Barbara is a bartender mixology competition show, and
it's it's kind of like the same format as a
Master Chef, but for bartenders. But each episode three new
bartenders and each one has a winner and those winners
go on to the finale.
Speaker 2 (32:14):
Oh that's great. That's such a good show because there's
not really a bar mixologist competition show on network TV,
which is weird.
Speaker 1 (32:22):
So mine's being at it right now and it's gonna
look it looks phenomenal.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
So we can literally go on reality network dot tv.
Speaker 3 (32:29):
Is it free? Is it a membership? Membership membership, we
can sign off pay.
Speaker 2 (32:34):
See any type of show that you are producing creating
yourself that we want to see. Yeah, that is amazing,
that's pretty pretty cool. I think that's the new era,
though I don't streaming platforms and like you know, Patreon,
Reality TV stuff like this where you get to subscribe.
These are going to be the next new things that
people are going to want to invest in, in.
Speaker 4 (32:53):
My opinion, exactly.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
What else?
Speaker 3 (32:57):
What other?
Speaker 2 (32:58):
By the way, any rumors that you'd like to clear
up in general for yourself that like I don't know,
people are saying you're coming back to Vanderpump rules, which
we know you're not. Like you're clarifying that now you know,
anything that you want to say to the audience that
you've wanted to ever clear up?
Speaker 3 (33:15):
We asked everything.
Speaker 1 (33:17):
No, just uh, there's no really rumors about.
Speaker 4 (33:22):
What you get.
Speaker 2 (33:24):
There aren't any rumors I'm saying rumors about like the
cast like that, Like you know, like dating, Oh, the
dating rumors?
Speaker 3 (33:30):
Do you care about?
Speaker 2 (33:31):
Like we talk a little bit about dating, So do
you care about like dating rumors? Like when people start
saying things that aren't true and then you're like have
to kind of defend it.
Speaker 1 (33:39):
The truth will the truth will always come out. It's
like if you start a rumor and it's a bad
rumor or wrong rumor, then truth is going to come
out eventually.
Speaker 3 (33:47):
Right, you feel like and you don't want and I
like that.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
You don't like to comment on other people's love lives
or cheating.
Speaker 1 (33:53):
It's not your right.
Speaker 2 (33:58):
Any tips for us how to handle that when we're
asked in the media or just in general.
Speaker 4 (34:03):
Next question?
Speaker 2 (34:07):
You know, one time I did that and I felt
like the guy wanted to slap in the face. I
was like, next question, He's like what, I'm like, yeah,
next question? They asked me why don't I like my
cast member? And it wasn't about that. I didn't want
to get into it, so I was like, you know,
next question. Anything else you're working on that you would
want you want to share with us.
Speaker 1 (34:27):
It was a moment, but I'll be one of the
You'll hear about it, definitely, I'll.
Speaker 3 (34:32):
Be hearing about it.
Speaker 2 (34:33):
Okay, we want to talk to you a little bit
about dating tips because you're a man and us women
don't know how to date well. Any tip for us
ladies when we go on a first date, like how
we should act with the guy we like because we're
not really like, I'm not honing onto this I can
tell you that I don't know how to keep a man.
Speaker 3 (34:53):
I don't know what it.
Speaker 2 (34:54):
Is, but there's something we're all doing that the guy
doesn't want to ask you out on the next date,
you know.
Speaker 1 (35:01):
Hmm, yeah, I don't know how. I only know from
my perspective, from a male perspective. If I'm interested, it's
about like a lot of eye contact. It's about easy
flowing conversation. It's about charisma. It's about making yourself accessible
to the other person. It's not about putting on some
kind of weird demeanor and just being like all, oh,
(35:24):
like having a weird accent or something that's like I've
heard that before. You know.
Speaker 4 (35:29):
It's about it's about, in.
Speaker 1 (35:31):
My opinion, about being real and if it doesn't work,
it doesn't work, and you move on, you know. And
it's so funny because I am like the only cast
member on the show that's never been in a long
term relationship or married. And what's hilarious is that all
those marriages and relationships have all failed.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
I know, but you know, it's also funny.
Speaker 2 (35:48):
You seem like the most one that would be loyal
and more successful if you were in a real term
you know, what I'm saying, in a long term are
you calling in.
Speaker 4 (35:56):
Love before and it's never worked out?
Speaker 3 (35:58):
So you know, but are you in a relationship for
your single? Wow, Peter is single ready to mingle. By
the way, matchmaking is like the new thing.
Speaker 2 (36:07):
I feel like that's also a thing for especially for
people who've been in like the public eye, just to
like match you with the right part, Like why do
you think you're but why do you think is it
the girls that you find out you're dating them?
Speaker 4 (36:18):
You don't know, I have no idea that no, no, no.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
You're young and hot, like you could be single.
Speaker 4 (36:26):
You know what. Here's the thing.
Speaker 1 (36:28):
At this point in my life, I'm just totally, completely
and utterly devoted to my business and myself.
Speaker 4 (36:37):
Yeah, and my family. Yeah, so I work.
Speaker 1 (36:40):
I love that. Yeah I don't. I don't have any
time for anything else. Like right after this, in about
fifteen minutes, I'm going into another phone call for a
different business. So I'm I'm literally.
Speaker 2 (36:53):
Like focused, no distractions and if love comes your way,
love comes your way.
Speaker 1 (37:00):
But she has to understand that it's not that I'm
saying you're second place, but you kind of are, you
know what I mean? I get it because because like
if it moves forward, if it goes forward, I want
to be the man, and I want to be able
to provide and I want to like, if we have
kids together, they're not gonna you know, but they're not
gonna be spoiled. No, no, no, but not gonna You're
(37:24):
not gonna be needing like, oh, we know we need
to get up and go to work. Like I don't
want that. So I want to have that's my purpose,
you know.
Speaker 3 (37:31):
So you should do a dating show on your network.
Maybe finding you love.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
That would be hard.
Speaker 4 (37:36):
Everyone says that we got it.
Speaker 3 (37:38):
Please let me do it for you. Oh, this would
be amazing.
Speaker 2 (37:41):
If we can continue this conversation, is there such an
eligible bachelor, You're such a good guy.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
But I get it.
Speaker 2 (37:46):
There has to be like morals and values align, and
you know, your business is important and if you need
to provide, you're not going to be able to do
it on a nickel.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
So you know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (37:56):
And this industry is hard as it is.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
So okay to versifying myself.
Speaker 2 (38:01):
You're diversifying yourself. Yeah, before we let you go, what's
one place in the city, whether it's New York or
La that we should check out the city fans that
you like like food.
Speaker 1 (38:12):
Course, Yeah yeah, I love Santa Monica, but West Hollywood definitely.
Speaker 3 (38:17):
Any restaurant we should check.
Speaker 2 (38:19):
Out, Sir Restaurant said Thursday nights.
Speaker 3 (38:24):
You can see Peter Madrigal. He's amazing. You are really awesome.
Thank you so much.
Speaker 2 (38:29):
You can check him out on Reality TV dot network
right or.
Speaker 1 (38:34):
It's Reality Network, Reality.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
Network dot TV, the Reality Network dot TV. He has
some great shows coming up. Where can they follow you? Peter?
Speaker 1 (38:44):
You can watch TV shows on there right now. There's
there's a there's a bunch of TV shows on there
right now, Reality Network dot TV or watched Reality Network
dot TV. I also am working on Reality Network News
r n N.
Speaker 2 (38:56):
Oh my god, that's gonna be dope. Oh, that's gonna
be dope out.
Speaker 1 (39:00):
And then and then so that there's that and then uh,
I want to make it like e almost yes yeah
uh and then yeah, and then other things that I'm
working on. You will will know as I'm doing them.
Speaker 2 (39:18):
Can you give us two two exclusives if you can.
One is in a nutshell? What do you think about
the new vanderd Pump rules in your thoughts and two,
what do you think about where Reality Network is going
is heading?
Speaker 1 (39:35):
So Reality Network is gonna get really big. It's just
you know, it's only a matter of time. And uh,
of course I have the inside of information on that.
But as far as the new cast, I just want to,
you know, just I know them. I wish them.
Speaker 2 (39:51):
Well, that's sweet.
Speaker 3 (39:53):
I love that.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
Yeah, we'll tune in, we'll see you know. I think
I'm more interested in your journey. I think we're all
interested in your journey. I think we need to do
the next show, Peter the Bachelor, finding you love real love,
not bullshit love.
Speaker 3 (40:06):
Okay, I don't know, maybe it'll be me, I'll force you.
Speaker 2 (40:09):
Just kidding, just kidding. We got to do something with
comedy too on the network because like that's what's missing yet. Okay,
we're back with Peter Madrigal, the Magical I just want
to call it the Magical og King. Anyway, we have
a segment really quick, it's called the Speed It's almost
like a speed dating segment with our audience who loves you.
(40:32):
They're obsessed with you. So first question they want to
know is why do you think vander Pump Rules lasted
so long as a reality show, Like, why was it
so popular in.
Speaker 1 (40:42):
Your opinion, do you think the dynamics in the relationships
and how it was very very interpersonal and and it
was unique in the sense of people they kind of
I saw themselves as some of the characters, you know,
(41:02):
because we all worked at a restaurant, so they related
very very easily to them.
Speaker 2 (41:07):
Like working class, like people who work, people who are
friends people.
Speaker 3 (41:11):
But do you feel like they were honest friendships?
Speaker 4 (41:14):
Yeah at the time.
Speaker 1 (41:15):
Yeah, But it's like says the Romans used to have
a saying, familiarity breeds contempt.
Speaker 2 (41:24):
I love that that you go on a T shirt.
I love that. That's so smart, it's sexy. I love that.
But that's the thing, is like, right, so so they
have you have to have real dynamics, real friendships, real
things to make it last. Do you feel there's gonna
ever be another reality show that comes close to it?
Speaker 4 (41:44):
Hopefully I have it.
Speaker 3 (41:47):
Yeah, I hope it's on your network? Do you I mean,
that's another question people want to know.
Speaker 2 (41:53):
Do you feel like you're finding your new baby or
do you kind of treat every project as a baby
where you don't know what's going to hit well?
Speaker 1 (42:00):
Like my so my my production career. My producing career
is definitely my baby, and so is Reality Network. That
is also my baby, right, and then everything else is
kind of like my step children.
Speaker 2 (42:13):
I love that, like the extra.
Speaker 1 (42:16):
Yeah, yeah, like stuff I can do, but I don't
have passion for it, you know.
Speaker 3 (42:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:22):
The audience also wants to know what do you think
you've done a lot of seasons. I know it's hard
because you've done a lot of seasons of Banner PROB.
What do you think your favorite moment was or teachable
momentable moment You've had many? I mean, you were like
the teacher. I gotta say, you really were. I know
I learned from you. I was like, oh, what would
Peter do? Because I'd want to do like bad things.
(42:43):
I want to do bad things. And then me and
my sister would watch and I'm like, she's like, but
what would Peter do? He'd be the bigger person. I'm like, fuck, now, yeah,
you're right, I guess.
Speaker 1 (42:51):
Yeah. One of my favorite moments was when Jack's was
all like he was revealed that he cheated he him
and Christen christ and cheated on Tom with him and
uh and I told Jackson because I remember, I remember
like stopping you know, Jaxon going after Frank, I told
him at his birthday party. I remember that is before
(43:12):
Stosty came and talked to him as I like.
Speaker 4 (43:14):
Tom comes after you. I'm not standing in the way.
Speaker 1 (43:16):
Baby. You better be ready, You better be ready.
Speaker 3 (43:22):
You better be ready.
Speaker 2 (43:23):
That's the thing, Like, I feel like you're not very
into conflict like other people's dealing with other fighting.
Speaker 4 (43:30):
If you were to actually see the size of me,
you'd get it right.
Speaker 2 (43:35):
You're not someone who's going to like fight somebody's battles.
But I'm not saying you're not going to be a
good friend. But I'm the same type. But I'm not
going to fight your battles for you.
Speaker 1 (43:42):
Yeah, I'm not going to fight your battles for you.
And if you fuck up, I'm gonna let you know
he fucked Tom right now.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
That's what the audience loves too.
Speaker 2 (43:48):
They want to know, because you guys are such good friends,
like you all dated each other, how do you keep
it like mature and cool within a professional environment because
a lot of people go through that in New York City.
Speaker 3 (43:58):
To like you date and.
Speaker 1 (43:59):
Then like thing for me to do, I had to
keep a cool, cool, mature in the professional environment because
I was everyone's manager, right, So.
Speaker 2 (44:06):
Would you have a talk and be like, I can't
let this effect if this doesn't go through, Like, I
can't have this effect.
Speaker 3 (44:13):
But did you ever punish them?
Speaker 4 (44:15):
Like I'm saying, yeah, I fired James Kensey once, did you?
Speaker 2 (44:20):
Oh? Yeah you did?
Speaker 3 (44:21):
It wasn't that on camera? That was on camera and
you were so real about it too.
Speaker 4 (44:28):
Yeah, So Lisa fired you. I don't know why you're
still here. You got to go leave.
Speaker 3 (44:33):
But is that weird for you?
Speaker 2 (44:34):
Like in terms of no, No, Let's see, you're friends
with them and then you have to fire them, and
then you know you have to hang out with them.
Speaker 3 (44:41):
What happens then because a lot of people don't.
Speaker 2 (44:43):
Know what to do.
Speaker 1 (44:46):
You know, it's it's a professional you gotta keep you
got to keep the relationship separate. You know, it's nothing
as they say, it's nothing personal. It's only business.
Speaker 2 (44:57):
It's only business, nothing personal. I love how you add
actually have the best so you have the best position
on the show. People say, what makes you think that
you are the closest with Lisa vander Pump, Like, what
makes you the most likable to her.
Speaker 1 (45:08):
You think my consistency, my love, my job, my consistency,
you know, like showing up all the time, showing up
and getting the job done, you know right, that was
basically yeah, you know I also like her all the
time and not not allowing anybody to uh to say
(45:29):
a bad thing. I mean, like, I've come after her
haters online. I'm not I have a thick skin. I'm
not worried about them at all.
Speaker 2 (45:36):
Yeah, You've always had her back. You've always had her back.
Would you do a show with her? The audience wants
to know on your network? Would she do a show
with you?
Speaker 1 (45:45):
Yeah, that would be cool.
Speaker 2 (45:47):
I think that would be cool Peter and Lisa vander Pump,
are you kidding me?
Speaker 3 (45:51):
On the reality network?
Speaker 4 (45:52):
Yeah, that'd be cool.
Speaker 2 (45:54):
Speaking into existence, baby, get into baby manifesting. But don't
you think that's kind of the genius behind her and
you that like you guys are open, Like you said,
I would be open to doing another network.
Speaker 3 (46:04):
I'd be open to doing like.
Speaker 2 (46:05):
She's done Hulu, she's done, Bravo, she's done NBC. Fox.
Speaker 1 (46:12):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (46:13):
Oh yeah, see, I'm kind of following her example.
Speaker 2 (46:16):
Footsteps, right. I was like when's the book coming out
where you're going to teach people how to become like
the employee.
Speaker 4 (46:22):
Of the book.
Speaker 1 (46:23):
I've already wrote it, written a book. I have a
whole bunch of recipes in there. In fact, I got
to send some recipes out for Fresnoe today. But but yeah,
I already wrote one. It's just I need to finish it.
Speaker 2 (46:36):
Yeah, it's all about like finishing it because you're one person, right,
like you're trying.
Speaker 1 (46:39):
To like, there's fifty recipes in there, so I have.
I have a bunch of recipes for different drinks, and
I just need to publish it. Yeah, or I need
to write some extra stuff on it, and I will.
I'll write some I'll have to make that a little.
I'll probably do that while I'm in Fresnone some downtime.
Speaker 2 (46:56):
Well, we can't wait to see it and read it
and buy it off the shelves. That's interesting. People also
want to know, is there like someone that reminds them
of you on the new vander Pump, Like who's the
Peter of the New vander Pump? Who's the Staces? Can
you give us any insight? I mean, you don't have to, I.
Speaker 4 (47:13):
Don't have that insight. No, I don't have that insight.
I wouldn't know.
Speaker 2 (47:16):
Isn't that interesting that you're around a lot but people
don't realize me too, Like I would be around a
lot of Bravo shows and I wouldn't have insight, Like
I wouldn't be able to share, you know what I mean?
Speaker 4 (47:25):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (47:26):
So, like, but is there anyone that's your favorite out
of the cast that really works with you that you're like, Oh,
I like this person.
Speaker 3 (47:31):
I could see them going somewhere. Okay, so like we'll
like it. We're not going to be bored.
Speaker 4 (47:37):
No, I don't think so.
Speaker 3 (47:38):
I mean, I'm gonna be honest, though, we're gonna miss you.
Speaker 1 (47:41):
Yeah, I think everyone's gonna miss the original cast.
Speaker 2 (47:44):
You've had so many great moments. You know what I
was thinking about the other day. If somebody put a
reel together of just every single moment of your reaction
for me, single season, Peter, I swear to god, it
would be an SNL. No. I don't know if it
would be serious, like you know how Zulander's like, No, No,
it would be viral.
Speaker 3 (48:01):
If I can do that for you, I swear to.
Speaker 2 (48:05):
God, you will make everybody become a different, like a
better person. I told you, I told you not the
fuck your best friend's girlfriend. I you about your best friends.
Speaker 3 (48:18):
Didn't you have a line like that.
Speaker 1 (48:20):
Or am I mistaken?
Speaker 4 (48:21):
Yeah, something like that.
Speaker 1 (48:22):
I can't remember.
Speaker 3 (48:23):
You're always like the good person, like you're.
Speaker 1 (48:26):
Always like the try.
Speaker 4 (48:28):
I do try.
Speaker 2 (48:28):
I do say something about like temptation coming at you
and always like avoiding temptation, which is something that resonated
with me because I was like, you know what, He's right.
Everybody has temptation. You can't always make that an excuse
in life if you really want to be a good person,
you know, like how you said, I have to go
to the gym sometimes I can't go out to a party.
I have to be loyal to my girlfriend sometimes if
I'm dating, I'm not going to be tempted by like
(48:49):
five other girls. I'm going to take my business seriously,
whether it's a reality show or not.
Speaker 3 (48:54):
Like those are really.
Speaker 1 (48:56):
Cool things, like what I did with on this set
of barbarall it was. It was a tumultuous and I
got it done.
Speaker 2 (49:04):
You know, right, is there a reason? I mean, obviously
this is the obvious reason. Did you want to pitch
it ever to Bravo or is it something like your
network is always going to get the.
Speaker 1 (49:12):
First representatives behind it want to do.
Speaker 3 (49:16):
So you don't even know if it's going to be
on your network yet.
Speaker 4 (49:19):
Oh, it's going to be definitely be on my network.
Speaker 3 (49:21):
Right, but like you don't know if it could be
bigger and go on to I want.
Speaker 4 (49:24):
It to be bigger.
Speaker 1 (49:25):
It can be bigger than just my network, you know.
That's that's the sacrifice you have to make. Like, I'm
the owner of the network and I'm also a producer
and owner of the show. So how do I do this? Well,
I'm going to make how do I make both of
my sides happy?
Speaker 3 (49:40):
Yes, how do you.
Speaker 2 (49:40):
Make both of your sides happy? That's a good question.
Speaker 1 (49:44):
So I want the money, but I also want the
network to be Well, I can do both.
Speaker 3 (49:52):
That's why I'm excited for your journey.
Speaker 2 (49:54):
Well, that's why you were always like you're very rational
in business. Sorry, you're very rational in business. So, like
a lot of people, like the audience wants to know,
how were you able to let's say, like when you
were with Stosi for example, not to bring up the past,
but you broke up and then you were friends and
then you were able to be friends.
Speaker 3 (50:09):
With other people.
Speaker 2 (50:10):
But what goes through your mind? Are you just like
a professional? Do you have a talk with them after
before do you say, hey, I'm just I'm here with
no like, what's your advice? Like, even if that happened
to me, would you advise me to always have a
talk if I crossed the line and then I wanted
it to be good again, you know what I mean,
and not have it affect my job.
Speaker 1 (50:28):
Yeah, it depends on the situation, I suppose. But yeah,
if you can be if you can be professional with
someone that used to date, that that's that's the best.
You know, I'm not saying I'm without fault. I've gone
through my own set of breakups where I'm like, I
can't I can't even look at that person, so I
have to block them from my you know, social media's.
(50:50):
But yeah, it takes a it takes a lot of
internal discussion to really come to that understand Yes, yeah,
is this person worth being in my life anymore?
Speaker 2 (51:01):
You know?
Speaker 1 (51:02):
I mean, uh, yeah, It's funny because we did become
pretty good friends for a moment, me and you know you.
Speaker 2 (51:10):
Did you did? It was kind of cool to watch
because I was like, oh, ship, like if they can
become good friends, like I should be able to be
friends with my exes, like because we work together.
Speaker 3 (51:18):
I work in coffee with them.
Speaker 1 (51:20):
Yeah, but I'm not. I'm not without fault. There's there's
been moments in my life from I know no, no, no, no.
Speaker 3 (51:26):
So now you're not like profession mixed professional.
Speaker 4 (51:29):
Won't be crossed, you know, just as it is.
Speaker 3 (51:34):
I love that. No, I love that.
Speaker 2 (51:36):
I'm just looking now to see if there's any more
quick questions from the audience that wants to know from Peter,
what kind of girl are.
Speaker 3 (51:44):
You looking for?
Speaker 1 (51:51):
Old ladies, old ladies? No, no, no, I said, old ladies.
Speaker 3 (51:56):
Oh oh, old ladies.
Speaker 2 (51:58):
Yeah, they're they're they're no there, they're clips by there.
Speaker 4 (52:02):
Ladies, ladies. I guess I'll know when I see it.
Speaker 2 (52:07):
Oh, I like that answer.
Speaker 4 (52:09):
I guess I'll know when I see it.
Speaker 3 (52:10):
That's true.
Speaker 2 (52:11):
And then well we'll be also on your journey, because
I do think you should have a Bachelor only on you,
like who wants to date Peter Madrigal, because I think
that's kind of cool, unless you go on the Bachelor
as a celebrity edition. I think both are cool yea
and featured on reality network like it's all you know?
But I oh another one more final question. This is
(52:34):
from Samantha from Ohio. She says, uh, you and she
Anda she were once good friends. What do you think
about everything she's opened up about lately?
Speaker 3 (52:45):
I don't know.
Speaker 2 (52:46):
I guess that means like everything she talked about with
Rock but also like the under.
Speaker 1 (52:49):
Pump and.
Speaker 4 (52:54):
Yeah, I'm not going to get into that.
Speaker 1 (52:57):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 4 (52:58):
I've already said my piece on that.
Speaker 1 (53:00):
Wait were you on our podcast? I put it on
on TikTok, on Twitter, on ex Yeah, there's a lot
of articles that were written about it, So that's all
I've got to say that matter.
Speaker 3 (53:14):
So then they should go to your Twitter and read.
Speaker 4 (53:16):
It because she went after Lisa and that's a no
no for me.
Speaker 2 (53:20):
I love how you're so loyal to Lisa because you
know what people don't get.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
It wouldn't be anything without that woman.
Speaker 2 (53:27):
Okay, well, that's amazing that you're saying that, like that's
a real thing and.
Speaker 1 (53:32):
None of these people would be anything without Lisa vander Pop.
Speaker 2 (53:36):
But do you feel like that's why sometimes you're turned off?
Because you know the business side and the person You're like,
I just can't be friends with any of them because
they don't get it.
Speaker 4 (53:44):
No, I'm done. I'm done with everybody from the pretty
much pretty much.
Speaker 2 (53:48):
You wouldn't even you wouldn't even let them pitch a show. Okay,
this is the best question. Would you let them pitch
a show to reality network? All?
Speaker 4 (53:55):
Yeah, one, yeah, I'm down for that to.
Speaker 1 (54:00):
Be a lot of fun.
Speaker 3 (54:00):
That's a lot of fun. Well, we're so excited, were
really are?
Speaker 2 (54:09):
What's up?
Speaker 1 (54:10):
Guys?
Speaker 2 (54:10):
It's your grol Chanelle West Coast and you're listening to
me on Chanell in the city with my grol Chanelle
Omari
