The Bright Future of a CIO & CFO Partnership

There will come a day when the CIO and the CFO can work together as true partners and allies. It will be when CFOs will see IT as more than just a cost center and the CIO will be able to prove IT’s value in a way the CFO can understand. Someday they will both speak the same language. For now there is work to be done and in some places a rivalry to overcome. Are CIOs and CFOs doing all they can to enable the success of the other? How can they align their risk priorities, simplify processes and reduce costs so that everyone is happy?
