Today we’re talking about what to do when kids and adults are a-holes. Specifically referring to when they make unsolicited body comments that make us feel like crap and have us slip into a shame spiral. My hope is that this episode will make you feel less insecure about body comments, more compassionate to the offenders, and more confident in how to respond.

In this episode, we chat about:

  • Why others make comments and why it can be harmful
  • How to respond when adults and/or kids make comments that hurt
  • To be compassionately curious about your defensiveness and ask yourself what is illuminating about YOU?
  • The importance of self-acceptance and self-confidence
  • A reminder that our opinions of ourselves are the most important opinion of all
