3918 Love—The Greatest Gift

Love is the word that's everywhere at Christmas, wrapped in songs and shiny cards, but too often it feels like a hollow echo. What if this love isn't just a sweet feeling or a seasonal mood? What if real love is the boldest, most demanding choice you make—one that shakes your world and changes everything? John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

This is love in action—God giving what mattered most, stepping into the messy human history vulnerable and exposed. That's the real deal.

Remember the story of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-37). Love isn't about just feeling sorry or saying nice words. It's about choosing to act—even when it's inconvenient or uncomfortable.

Loving others means breaking down walls, crossing social boundaries, and showing compassion where it's least expected.

God gave you and me the greatest gift, LOVE!!

This Advent, don't settle for a love that's just background noise. Step into the love that moves, acts, and sacrifices — just like God showed us, and continues to show us every single day. 

When you begin to question, 'Where is God?' and 'Does God really love me?' — Go back to where it all began. Remind yourself of the sacrifices and deliberate actions God made, the gift He gave, and the God winks that are around you every day.

Love is a daily challenge for all of us, yet it's the greatest gift you can give and receive. When you lead with love, you live out the heart of Christmas every day.
