In this episode of the Created Worthy Podcast, Danielle and Sherita pick up right where they left off—this time diving even deeper into the real-time process of walking through rejection.

From the physical and emotional toll of unprocessed rejection to the spiritual attack it represents, this episode is about truth-telling, warfaring with your words, and reclaiming your identity when rejection tries to write your story for you.

Danielle and Sherita don’t hold back. They share what it feels like to process rejection while still in the thick of it—exploring everything from church hurt to unmet expectations, singleness, entrepreneurship, and how to move from shame into significance.

If you’ve ever been told you’re too much, not enough, or left out of a room you were called to occupy—this conversation will meet you in the mess, remind you who you are, and help you build the kind of belonging that can’t be stolen.

YOU are Created Worthy.

Creative Processing Defined: Activating your creative mind to process a certain intention.

CREATIVE PROCESSING CHALLENGE: REJECTION

Set this intention before engaging in the exercise:

  • The purpose of [WRITING OR CREATING] is to process [THE PARTS OF ME  THAT HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY REJECTION SO I CAN PREPARE TO REBUILD TRUST].

  • When you pair intention with creativity, you begin to break shame-based patterns and reconnect with truth.

Step 1: Identify the Wound

  • Has rejection resurfaced in your life recently?

  • Ask: Who or what made me question my worth?

  • Journaling Prompt: Write about a moment where rejection hit hard—and what message it sent.

    • Where did this rejection try to take root?

    • What lie did it try to plant?

Step 2: Speak Truth Over Yourself

  • Truth isn’t just for the polished version of you. It’s for the panicked, anxious, second-guessing versions of who you are, too.

  • Journaling Strategy:

    • What are the truths that combat the lies you identified in step 1? –BREAK OFF THE SHAME.

    • SPEAK TRUTH OUT LOUD.

Step 3: Ask God (or your source)—What Do You See in Me That I’ve Forgotten to Trust?

  • You were made in your Creator’s image. Ask Him to remind you of what He sees.

  • Journaling Strategy:

Mark as Played
