He and Eric met when Eric tracked him down after reading about the win in Variety more than 20 years ago. This has led to a life-long friendship centered around the creative arts. Mark was the Dean of the Studio School in Los Angeles and taught film at the University of North Carolina. He recently left academia to go back to full time creating.
He is also the author of the book The Patron Saint of Used Cars and Second Chances. Mark's wide breadth of creative career has been sparked by his holistic view of creativity, daily routines and personal growth.
