Bruce steals an arrowhead from Rachel and is dealt swift comeuppance by karma. His punishment is falling down a well and a bat attack. Waking from his dream Bruce finds himself in prison on the other side of the world.

We get a look at where Bruce spends his days (prison, I know weird, Batman in prison). Bad cafeteria food along with the prison bully leads Bruce to starting his morning spa treatment of rolling in the mud a little early.

Bruce showcases his fighting skills along with some questionable techniques. He is ultimately able to take out his 6 assailants (or is it 7) before being thrown into solitary. Upon entering his room upgrade he is questioned by a mystery man.

Ducard joins Bruce in his spacious solitary suite and begins recruiting him to join the League of Shadows. Bruce's interest is peaked as Ducard talks of justice and defines vigilantes.

Ducard has Bruce hooked and is reeling him in. Bruce is released from prison in grand fashion, out the back of a moving truck.

Bruce approaches Ra's Al Ghul and is immediately surrounded by a hazing crew. Ra's starts speaking an imaginary language before the beating starts.

Ducard starts a therapy session that turns into a hazing.. then goes back to the therapy session. Poor Bruce didn't stand a chance against Ducard, so he takes a nap.

Ducard knocks Bruce back into the past where Bruce is rescued by his father after the bat attack. We get a peek into Wayne Manor and Bruce's room. He wakes and contemplates if he needs to use the restroom (wakes from a nightmare? Oh oops)

As Bruce wakes from his nightmare, his father comes in and attempts some therapy. His father then gives Bruce life lessons while riding public transit.

We see Bruce's reality rocked as his father tells him the family company is run by better men than him. Bruce receives more stress as his PTSD is triggered by operatic bats.

With bang number 2 we see Bruce's mother get shot and Joe flees the scene. Gordon starts to comfort Bruce.
