Tim Colson is the founder of the Tri-State Legacy Group. An independent insurance brokerage headquartered in the Hudson Valley, NY but serving clients nationwide. The agency's focus is on extended care & legacy planning. Tim joined the financial services industry in 2013 with a passion to serve clients at the highest level. Whether personally or professionally, he is driven to ensure that each person he meets is left in a better position than they were before their encounter. In late 2020, Tim launched his "Finance Dad" brand which is focused on equipping people with practical financial education. In his spare time, Tim enjoys spending time with his wife Emily & his sons Jude, Quinn, Jackson, Chase & Clayton. He is an avid NY Rangers fan & an active member of his church. Faith & family are the most important things to him.
