Dr. Mizuo currently practices at Pearl Foot and Ankle in Portland Oregon, but his story begins when he got his degree from University of North Texas and Psychology. Dr. Mizuo got his Degree of Podiatric Medicine from William M. Scholl, College of Podiatric Medicine and completed his three year surgical residency program with MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. As “Faculty of the Year” Award recipient, he discusses what it’s like to be a faculty member and the value of resident and student education. He also shares his insights on leadership and what this means in the context of both physician work as well as career and community.
