1. Trusting God for Everything – Matthew 6:24-34
- You cannot serve two masters – You will either be devoted to God or to worldly concerns (v. 24).
- Do not worry about your life – God provides for the birds and flowers; He will provide for you (v. 25-30).
- Worry doesn’t add anything to your life – Trusting God brings peace (v. 27).
- Seek first the Kingdom of God – When we put God first, He takes care of the rest (v. 33).
- Don’t be consumed with the future – “Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (v. 34)
2. The Power of Praise and Worship
- Praise is telling others how good God is.
- We declare His goodness to others, testifying of His faithfulness.
- “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.” (Psalm 34:1)
- Worship is speaking directly to God.
- Worship is about intimacy—expressing our love for Him personally.
- True worship is not just music but a heart posture.
3. What Worship Looks Like
- Worship is telling God:
- “Lord, I love You.”
- “You are so good.”
- “I exalt You above everything.”
- “You are amazing, Lord.”
- Thanksgiving should be our focus, not just requests.
- Don’t always come to God asking for things.
- Spend time thanking Him for what He has already done.
- “Enter His gates
