EST Afternoons with Hernan Salas & Joaquin Gage

Hosts Hernan Salas and former Oiler Joaquin Gage preview the big game while glossing back over Edmonton's Game 1 victory to discuss the positives and negatives they saw from the team. Derek Van Diest from NHL.com checks in to give his view of the matchup.

In hour 2, Gager and Salas continue to break down the Oilers performance from their Game 1 win, along with a look at the CFL Week 1 schedule for Inside the Numbers. 

Also, with Elks having kickoff of the 2025 season on Saturday, newly extended Nick Anderson from the EE checks in with the boys to chat about the upcoming season and what it means to re-sign in Edmonton.

In hour 2, the boys look at the Elks first preseason game as they visited Calgary to play the Stampeders, falling 31-4 in the match. And there were a couple of big races over the weekend with the Indy Car 500 and the F1 race in Monaco!

The Oilers took two wins from the Stars over the weekend, with the Oilers' stars standing tall in each of the contests. Yesterday, the story saw the Oilers take the series lead 2-1 over Dallas with a 6-1 victory at home. Hernan Salas and Joaquin Gage recap all the action.
