Drift off to Dreamland with us as we read an abridged version of a feminist “journey to the center of the earth” story - MIZORA: A PROPHECY, by Mary E. Bradley published in book form in 1889.
The story will be read in order, a few chapters at a time. If you would like to begin at the beginning, please start with Season 2, Episode 16.
In our previous episode, our narrator gives a brief history of her life and tells us how she found her way to Mizora, the beautiful country at the center of the earth. We meet some of the residents of Mizora and our narrator finds that they have figured out how to create steak without cows.
