Speaker 1 (00:00):
A full day of football to breakdown, Let's talk to
the pros. Hey there, everybody, Welcome into the Sunday night

(00:23):
recap show of the Fantasy Pros Football Podcast. I am
your host, Dan Harris. Find me on Twitter at Dan
Harris eighty. Hopefully you're watching us live here on YouTube
dot com slash Fantasy Pros, where you would see that
Pat is not here with me. Pat is traveling this weekend,
so pitch hitting for him is a good friend of
the program. The man who comes up when you type
Deante Johnson into the gift creator on Twitter that is

(00:47):
not a joke. Writer for Downtown Rams dot com. Content
creator from Mayomedia Network, LaQuan Jones. Find him on Twitter
at Real Deal Fantasy. LaQuan, thank you so much for
making the time for us tonight. Oh yeah, for sure, Man,
Thank you for to invite man. I was expecting the
woody outfit today, Man. I thought it was a new
look that comes out once a year and only when
I am contractually obligated to do it. Also, the hat

(01:08):
does not fit on my Gargantuin head, but you know
I'm working on them making one for giants. I am sorry,
though I will apologize to you for the fact that
you were here right now joining us for the probable
worst week of fantasy football that I can remember. This
week was just crazy. Nobody did anything. The good teams
lost to the bad teams. Up was down, down was up.

(01:30):
It was crazy. Most of my questions today are going
to be like, what the heck just happened? But can
you remember day like this in recent memory? No, Like
it was just weird. It was just like, what are
we watching right now? Like is this really? Is this
preseason football right now? Like I was just so just
out of the loop, just like I didn't get the memo.
Everybody was drinking the night before, and you know, the

(01:52):
games were just gonna be crazy today, like what was
going on? Survivor pools everywhere fell with that, Bills lost
to the jag, And I think there are some that
you can maybe see coming if everything breaks a certain way.
There's nobody in the world to get have seen that
one coming. But regardless, we're going to break it all down.
Before we do, let me do a couple of housekeeping items.
The first is to remind you that we're giving away
assigned Chris Godwin Jersey. Hopefully you guys know by now

(02:15):
that all you have to do to enter into this
one for this month it's a change, is to subscribe
to our YouTube channel at YouTube dot com slash fantasy Brows.
That's it. Do that, and then go to Fanasypros dot
com slash Contact. That's it. You're automatically entered. Also, it's
good to just be a subscribatory YouTube channel. Anyway, we
got a lot of good stuff here, including this podcast
that we are live streaming. Also, if you want to
hear more of my thoughts after this, I'm going to

(02:37):
record the Kickoff podcast, which is a podcast I do
every weekday for ten to fifteen minutes. My thoughts today
will be my five biggest takeaways that I saw from Sunday.
So again, subscribe to the Kickoff anywhere that you listen
to podcasts. All right, Lakwan, it's your first day here.
But we usually start with something called trust or Bust,
where I pick out a couple of performances that I

(02:59):
thought we're weird a little bit, and I want to
know whether or not you trust these players or whether
or not you think they're going to be a bust.
And we're gonna go to Jordan Howard, who was on
this last week and Pat called him a bust, but
I'm not so sure anymore. Seventeen carries seventy one yards
with a touchdown. Meanwhile Boston Scott just ten for forty
Kenneth Gainwell just two carries. He does find, you know,

(03:20):
find the end zone with a touch on. But Jordan
Howard now back to back games finding the end zone,
contributing trust or bust. I have trust issues. I can't
I can't trust it. I don't care if you know
he pops off today, you know, for seventeen carries and
he has a great you know, basically look for the
last two weeks where he's leading them in touches and
it's like, come on, really, like we cannot trust the

(03:42):
Eagles backfield. And it's gonna get even weirder when Moles
Sanders comes back. So Jordan Howard hisself, the rebirth is great,
but I still have trust issues. I can't trust it. Yeah,
there's no way, there's no way you can possibly trust this.
I mean, it's interesting that he was the guy over
Boston Scott today, but I think we've seen enough of
him to know that this is not a place that

(04:02):
you go for fantasy goodness, and of course you're right
Miles Sanders coming back, so that's just avoided. But what
about Brandon Iyuk here eight targets, six catches, eighty nine
yards with a touchdown. He did lose a fumble, but
you finally had George kittleback also had a big game.
Deebo Samuel was a little limited in practice, of course,
but he also sort of was fine and you know,
had enough production here. So how do you feel right

(04:24):
now about Brandon Ayuk, a guy who's sort of slowly
been trending up a little bit of ladies, Are you
trusting him or is this a bust? The arrow is
moving up, it is slowly, but surely I can admit
because I've been ripping him for the last you know,
basically nine weeks. But who hasn't you know what I mean?
So I feel so you didn't start him today. If
you did, it's only because we were told Kittle was

(04:46):
going to be limited, which they lied. He definitely played
a full game. God, So I feel as though, you know,
it's hard to trust Kyle Shanahan because at any point,
like we saw him fumble and then we thought he
was going to meet a dog House like we thought
that would be do last time we ever see him. Like,
I can't trust that on a week to week basis
of Kyle Shanahan film some type of way. But it
was a must needed win in the division. So I

(05:08):
feel as though that's why winn CiU, you know, basically
just go disappearing. So with this all happening week, we
can't trust it. So trust issues again. Yeah, I'm intrigued
by this at the very least, like I want to
see where it goes. I want to roster him now
at this point to see where it goes. But certainly
I'm not at a point where I'm just putting him
in my lineup. And again, it's gonna be hard to

(05:28):
see all three of those guys contribute on a week
to week basis. Debo and Kittle and iuke right, somebody's
gonna left out today. It was sort of quasi debo
even though we had that long catch of course. Yeah,
the two guys that were basically hurt you know, of course. Yeah,
I mean the fact that Kittle was supposed to be
limited and just basically went nuts. And that's always the risk,

(05:48):
by the way, with these guys, whenever you hear the
stuff that like, oh, who knows what they're gonna wind
up being, It's why you just kind of roll the
dice and start them. The next one we usually do
here Lacorn is something called I'm confused by your opinion? Formerly,
what's your problem? Man? I don't have your rest of
the season rankings, So we're just gonna skip it. We're
gonna get right into the games here, move right along.
Browns forty one, Bengals sixteen. Nick Chubb fourteen for one,

(06:12):
thirty seven on the ground with two touchdowns. He has
twenty six yards receiving. He's very good, but kind of
just a weird game here for the Browns because their
defense was so strong, they just kind of dominated. They
didn't really need to do all that much. Mayfield throws
two touchdown passes, one to Donovan People's Jones, one to
David and Joku. Jarvis Landry lead in targets and receptions
with five and three, respectively, and he had just eleven yards.

(06:35):
People's Jones here, three targets, two catches, eighty six yards
with the touchdown sixty yard touchdown catch. Actually he does
leave late. I saw he was being evaluated for a concussion.
I'm not sure. I haven't read up on where they were,
but do you think Lakwan just generally speaking, going forward,
can you start anyone on the Browns other than the
running backs. Absolutely, the team moved on. I don't know

(06:56):
if anybody's living on right, but they moved on from
Ode Beckham. So the team, so they look completely better.
Like the offense just looks way smoother, Like you don't
see a Baker that's like indecisive or you know, hesitating
and decision making because he's worried about throwing the ball
to Odell Beckham. So the chemistry was off there. So
he's out of the way, out of the picture. You know.

(07:17):
The baker came out hyped up today. I don't know
if he's seen him coming out of the tunnel and
right asked the team like he's ready to go, like
he's ready fueled up. So what we saw today what
we could be seeing moving forward now that Odell Beckham's
out of the way, So people's jones. I love what
I'm seeing out of him. I definitely want to see
more that touchdowns like the stamp, Like, all right, this

(07:38):
guy is gonna be the guy moving forward, because we
got to realize Jarvis Landry next season, He's on his
last contract, so I don't see them actually extending him.
So people's Jones needs to step up this year and
then next year stamp out to possibly be that wide
receiver one. What about Landry? I mean, I'll be honest,
I was pretty high on him in this game, just
because you know, the Bengals generally struggle against thought receivers

(07:59):
and for him to come up so small was really
you know, concerning a little bit. Do you have any
interest in him? Do you think as sort of a
guy who you think could be a regular starter going forward.
He's been banked out, to be honest, so guys like that,
you're always like hesitant. He's not like a starting for
get guy. You have to be in the like a
situation where you have to play Landry. For me, I

(08:21):
have two shares of him. Some of my leagues, I'm like,
you know, hit or miss with him if I had
to play him or not. You know, so moving forward,
I have trusted you with him, So it's like I
can't really see myself playing him, you know, every single week.
It definitely has to be a matchup on the other
side of the ball. Joe Mixon tough matchup at eighteen touches,
one hundred ten yards and two touchdowns. Really good to

(08:42):
see him kind of shining here as we move into
the second half of the season. But let's talk about
the passing game here a little bit. Burrow throws four
two hundred and eighty two yards with two picks. Tee Higgins,
he was involved right out of the gate. Eight targets,
six catches, seventy eight yards. Jamar Chase does see the
thirteen targets, but he catches six of them for forty
nine yards. Not great. He also loses a fumble, he

(09:03):
drops a few passes, not a great game for him.
Tyler Boyd Meanwhile, as somebody in our chat reminded me,
I recommended he start Tyler Boyd over a shot Bateman.
Sorry on that one. Two targets, one catch, eleven yards,
just out of curiosity. Does this game change how you
feel at all about any of the Bengals pass catchers?
Uh No, It was just a tough battle for Ohio today.

(09:23):
That defense for Cleveland was playing at a high level.
Denzel Warp showed up, you know, big with that interception
so it kind of changed the whole momentum of the
game after that happened. So I feel like Burrow, you know,
him and Chase, I'm not worried about their chemistry. It's
very beautiful with their building. You know, Chase had a
couple of drops, but timing and you know, Chase actually
dropping at one in an end zone. I kind of

(09:44):
put that on Chase. So I feel a still you know,
they'll have a bounce back next week. No where's there? Yeah,
I agree. I mean, Boyd is always going to be
kind of the hit or miss borderline wide receiver. Three.
I'm glad to see Higgins get you know, continues sort
of now to get a little bit of targets and
be a little bit more reliable. But I know, just
a bad game per Chase. Again. I thought, man, I
talked about it. I thought Cleveland was going to come

(10:05):
out here and just kind of be rejuvenated a little
bit after getting rid of Odel Beckham Junior just kind
of rally around it, and they did on both sides
of the ball. So I agree pretty much, status quo.
Let's go to the Broncos thirty the Cowboys sixteen. Not
a game I saw coming right. I don't know where
we are where. The only reason the Cowboys have any

(10:26):
fantasy production whatsoever is because of garbage time. That that's it,
other than that they were completely dominated. But let's start
with the Broncos. Here both running backs again go big here.
Javonte Williams seventeen carries one hundred eleven yards, Melvin Gordon
twenty one carries. I mean, you give him a positive
game script twenty one carries. He's just eighty yards, but
he does have to touchdown. He ads fifteen yards receiving.
I don't know, man, every time I said this on

(10:47):
our Friday show, I feel like every time you can
just look at my running back rankings. You can check
it out somewhere between like twenty three and twenty six
as like a low end RB two, and you're gonna
find both Melvin Gordon and Javonte Williams. Is that how
you feel about them? And early speaking, absolutely, that's the
one two punch that we love seeing. Um, it's a
beautiful thing to see Javontae Williams get his first one
hundred yard a game. I feel so this is a

(11:09):
breakout not to me to have, you know, big fantasy points.
But the man put up one hundred yards on the
ground today, so he was running hard, brick and tackles.
I love what he has you know in store for
him in the future. So I love it. Yep. I
like them both, and again, if one of them could
get the full workload, it would be amazing. But with
both of them, I think they're both good enough to
sort of be in your starting lineup each of Bardon

(11:31):
Science next year. No, man, I don't know, I don't know.
All I know is that all I know is that
he's going to clap back at Kyle Yates for insulting
me as he did a week or two ago. So
he's my favorite player because it was very clearly coming
to my defense at Yates. Oh I love that guy.
So no, no, no, no Ah fans here obviously because

(11:51):
he was on the COVID reserve list. So without him,
we liked Jerry Judy, we liked Courtland Sutton, but we
got Tim Patrick five yardets, four catches, eighty five yards,
then the touchdown. Judy did have a fine game here,
eight targets, six catches, sixty nine yards, but Corton Sutton
really disappeared here. Two targets, one catch, nine yards. I
assume I haven't gotten you know, watched it closely enough

(12:12):
to know whether or not he just got Trayvon Diggs
the whole game or whatever. But Jerry Judy back Sutton
has six targets, three catches, and forty nine yards in
two games. Do you have any concerns here long term
on Courton Sutton slightly Teddy two glove. You know, he's
a good quarterback. We watched him spread the ball around
last year. You know, with the Panthers he had three
you know, wide receivers inside the top twenty five, which

(12:34):
is great. Now we're trying to see that happen over
here in Denver, which is slightly different. So Teddy two
glove kind of like honing in on the guys that
he can rely on, the guys that are getting open,
so targets are earned. I just think Jerry Judy with
his route running, his Chris routes, like he's that guy
that you have to hit when he's open. So it
might be something in case like that. But I do

(12:55):
have slight concern about Sutton moving forward. Yeah, I do
think you've got to move him down slightly, at least
with junny back because Judy commands targets started as you said,
Albert Oh meanwhile comes in five targets, four catches, twenty
five yards. He did leave for a bit with a
knee injury, but you know, for a tight end, you
can basically live with that. For the Cowboys, again, all
garbage time, the entire thing, all of it garbage time,

(13:16):
So throw out all of it. Really, But Dak Prescot
two hundred and thirty two yards passing and he gets
two touchdowns, both to Malik Turner. Of course, Almar Cooper
two for thirty seven. Ceede Lamb gets nine targets but
just two for twenty three. Donton Sults is your leading
receiver with four for fifty four. I mean, Zeke total
seventy six yards on thirteen touches. And the craziest thing

(13:37):
about that is that Zeke left the game and was
questionable with a knee injury. Then the game's over, man like,
this is garbage time. They are just killing time at
this point, and Zeke is back in there, and thankfully
for fantasy managers, he's racking up some yards at least,
so he passable. But bizarre that he was even in there.
Explain this entire game to me, LaQuan, How is it
possible that the Cowboys were completely shut down like this?

(14:00):
I don't know. I mean Deck he was making some
weird throws, man, like a lot of throws that were
just overthrown and just off target. It was just like
he's a little rusty. I mean, I've seen somebody tweet
today I for you who it was, but they're like,
it's Cooper Russian conversation, like that didn't look like his self,
so that that might have been the issue. Like Ceedie
Lamb took the biggest hit out of this. It was
just disgusting. In nine targets is like four fantasy points.

(14:24):
I need more than that. But I feel astill. You know,
they don't have to bounce back, you know, it just
it happens. You know, Deck's back a little rust so
not too weird. Yeah, I mean you want to think
like perhaps it was just the rust, like he missed
you know, the full week and then especially if they
had to buy as well. So yeah, it really hasn't. Right,
it hasn't played in like three weeks, and they do
get into Lanta next so that should be a spot, right,

(14:46):
should you're all ills. Let's hope anyway, let's help. But yeah,
very weird game for sure, So something that hopefully they
can they can get work their way around. All right,
Before we keep going, I want you guys to know
that I love the Rocky franchise. Most people know this
about me. I'm a huge nerd Rocky fan. I will
watch any of them anytime there on. And the other

(15:07):
night I was working in Rocky three popped on and
we all think about that one as mister t is
cluver Lang. It's a great one. But early on, I
love when Rocky has to fight Hulk Hogan in a
charity match. He's not Hulk Hogan in that it's Hulk
Hogan as Thunderlips, who also refers to himself as the
Ultimate Mail, which I have also tried to do myself,
but my wife repeatedly reminds me that I am essentially

(15:28):
the opposite of whatever the ultimate Mail is, So like
the least Mail, but Thunderlips is the ultimate Mail. If
you want to be the ultimate Mail or the ultimate female,
truth be told, you're probably out of luck. But what
you can be is the ultimate fan. By playing the

Terms and conditions apply. All right, my friend, let's keep
going here with the Dolphin seventeen Texans nine. If you

(16:31):
liked turnovers, this was a game you wanted to watch.
They had nine total in the game. Every time he
turned on, they were just giving the ball back to
the other team. Now, Noah to a tongue of vailoa.
Here he has a fractured finger, it turns out, so
he missed this week. He was active, oddly enough, as
a backup, which makes no sense to me. But Jacoby
Brissette steps in. He throws for two forty four with

(16:52):
a touchdown and two picks. The touchdown goes to Matt Collins.
You rely on three guys here on the Dolphins, and
for the most part, considering there was no two it
that kind of came through Miles Gaskin fifty seven total yards,
not great, but he finds the end zone. He does
lose a fumble. Jalen Waddle ten targets, eight catches eighty
three yards and Mike Kisiki eight targets, four catches fifty
four yards. I guess the guy who focused on here

(17:13):
is Gaskin. I mean, twenty six touches like that is crazy.
You love that amount of volume. But he averaged one
point seven yards per carry. He saves his day with
the fact that he had a touchdown. So how do
you feel about Miles Gaskin, who is now getting the
volume without Malcolm Brown but not doing a whole bunch
with it. Thing is it's hot cold, hot cold, hot cold,

(17:35):
Like it's literally like annoying that he's actually like doing
this because it's like he's the most toxic top twenty
running back in Fantasy right now, because next game single
digit points, he's gonna do nothing, but the game after
that he's gonna full send it for what he did today.
So it's like, come on, you cannot find love with that.
You cannot trust him in your starting lineup. It's like,

(17:55):
come on, Gas, and let's be more consistent. It's really
annoying to me as a ranker because I'm constantly like,
I don't want to do this, man, I don't want
to rank. We were joking right how you were watching
the Fans Bros Instagram live this morning, and so many
questions came in about Gascus. It was like, yeah, I
guess that's fine. I got it like fifteenth or something
like that. I don't know. And I dropped him one
spot without two of us. That was it. And I mean,

(18:17):
I don't know. It's not like you had a terrible game.
I didn't kill you or anything like that. But man,
I'm so tired of you know, you told me it
was gonna get twenty six touches. I'd basically rank him like,
you know, top five or something like that. It's obnoxious, Matt.
And they get Baltimore next, so that's probably not where
I want to go for my fantasy production. Um hot
called hock? Oh yeah right, who knows? Overall? Whatever? For

(18:41):
the Texans, Torod Taylor was supposed to solve all of
our problems and he just made them worse instead. Two
hundred and forty yards passing and three picks. Brandon Cooks
is your leading receiver thirteen targets good, six catches fine,
fifty six yards fine. Philip Lindsay is your leading rusher
with eight for twenty eight. Um, is this just the
same as it always is, which is essentially Brandon Cooks

(19:02):
is like the only Texan that you even want to
consider starting. And even then you're not that excited about it. Yeah,
you're not that excited about it. I feel though, you know,
I was hoping Tyrod Taylor would play a little bit
what we saw week one and a little bit of
that Cleveland game when he got hurt in week two.
I felt as though Tyrod Taylor he has a dual threat.
You know, he's a passer and runner, so fantasy points

(19:23):
are there, but today it was just atrocious. He just
made everything worse, like you said, and at Dolphins defense
got a lot of fantasy points. If he started their
defense today, So yeah, they may single handedly lose me
a week because of literally the defense like just went nuts.
The one thing I'm going to say about him, obviously,
it's like, look, he hadn't played in you know, two

(19:45):
months or something like that. So like we're saying with Dak,
like it's reasonable to say, well, maybe there's a little
rust and everything like that. You have to assume that
he's better than Davis Mills. But it is worth wondering
how long they're going to stick with him, just given
the fact that what good does it do them to
start to Rod Taylor every week at this point? Yeah? Right,
I mean at some point I feel like they go
back to Davis Mills. Well, let's go to the Falcons

(20:06):
twenty seven, Saints twenty five. Matt Ryan throws four three
forty three and two scores really impressive in a tough matchup.
Both scores go to Olamedi Zakias, of course, and Russell
Gauge has eight targets seven catches for sixty four yards.
I mean, you know, fifty eight yards for Zakias, sixty

(20:27):
four yards for Gauge. Can you consider starting either of
these guys going forward? No, no, no, no, no, no one.
Another weird game, another weird week. You know, we saw
them at a sink last week for obvious reasons with
Ridley taking a step back from football. I feel as
though they got that news before the game. But um,
this week they had, you know, a better a better game.

(20:47):
I feel as though you know, Pits did Okay, he
wasn't like the biggest fantasy scorer this week for the Falcons,
but he had a better game from before Gauge he
popped up. I mean, how many times we're gonna sit
him and then he blows up? You know what I mean?
So trust issues there's as well, but um, Cordaro Patterson
as he's gonna do what he does. Yeah, just ten
yards rushing, but great to see how involved he was

(21:09):
through the air, one hundred and twenty six yards through
the air with the six catches. It is awesome. Man. Yeah,
I agree with you, man. I used start Cordarrell Patterson
for sure. You start Kyle Pitts. Of course, seven targets,
three catches, sixty two yards for him, and I am
more than happy to let those wide receivers stand in
my waiver wire or on my bench. What about Mike
Davis a guy who nobody ever feels comfortable starting, and
this was a tough matchup in particular, but eleven touches

(21:32):
eighteen yards do you think he's even worth rostering at
this point anymore? No, he's like gone, like he's dropped.
He's droppable. Definitely now one point one fantasy point from
the starting running back. Yeah, I don't care how tough
the matchup is, man, that's that's sad. And you're losing
touches to Cordaro Patterson. So definitely droppable. Yeah. I was

(21:53):
sort of hoping that he might do something not in
this game. This was a terrible matchup, of course, but
just that he would be a little more usable given
you know the fact that Calvin Ridley is out, and
we saw him get more work last week with Ridley out.
But yeah, this is just something where there are no
days where you have started Mike Davis and said, yep,
I feel great about that after what happened. And again,

(22:14):
I think the one thing that we should point out
is we really have no idea how long Ridley is
going to be out. I mean, I know he stepped
away from football, but that might be a week that
it might be the rest of the season, but it
might be a week. So it's certainly something where he
could come back for the Saints. Alvin kamaras seventeen touches,
one hundred four yards and a touchdown. Trevor Simeon throws
for two forty nine and two touchdowns, one to Kenny Stills,
one to Marcus Callaway, track one. Smith has three for

(22:36):
fifty three. Mark ingram you know, is the usual internance policy,
but he does have fourteen touches sixty four yards. Other
than the running backs, I assume we probably roster marking
Room if for no other reason than as an insurance policy.
Is there any reason to roster anybody else in the Saints. Man,
it's tough. It's honestly tough. With these wide receivers, they're
hit or miss again. We got to look for the

(22:57):
rest of the season. Though we're on the back end
of the season. I don't see any of them helping
me out in the playoffs or getting me to the playoffs.
So absolutely not. Yeah, I'm with you. I mean, I
hope Taysom Hill takes over at some point so I
can get a little more excited. Maybe right, right, But
on that now, I agree with you completely. Let's go
to the Giants twenty three Raiders sixteen. The Giants do
get the win here, but they provide little fancy goodness

(23:20):
unless you started their defense. DeVante Booker twenty four touches
one hundred, twenty two yards. He does get it done,
but that is it. Daniel Jones fifteen for twenty four
one hundred ten yards. He has the one touchdown to
Evan Ingram, who is your leading receiver with thirty eight yards.
Kenny Galladay just two catches twenty eight yards. Kadarius Tony
one catch, nine yards. I know the Raiders are tough
on wide receivers, but just break down how you feel

(23:41):
right now about both Kadarius Tony and Kenny Galladay going forward.
Ny Kenny Galladay, I would say he had an okay
start of the season. I would say, you know, when
he did play, he was able to put points on
the board. I'm just a little frustrated with Kadarius Tony
being that you know, Jason Garrett isn't really put in
the focal point on him because I feel as though
he's the better weapon on the offense. He had a

(24:03):
taste of him having like a huge vying game where
he's exploding, but he's not becoming the focal point. When
he only has one target for one catch for nine yards,
it doesn't make too much sense. You got to win,
but like you didn't really use you know, he didn't
he didn't know what the assignment was to get the
wide receivers involved. But going forward, it's a little bit
of a trust issues with Darius Tony. He was a

(24:25):
start and forget after that one game, but then it's
like you got the ankle injury, then you know, a
hand injury. Like going forward, we have to really think
about what we're gonna do with to Darius Tony because
I'm pretty sure we have better options to put in
our flex positions or wide receiver positions. Yeah, this is
really disappointing in this one because I really did think
that this was going to be a game again a
tough matchup because they are very solid against the wide

(24:47):
receivers the Raiders. But you know, it was just again,
it was a game where the Giants played conservatively, So
I don't want to draw too many conclusions. They have
a buy next and then they get the Bucks, so
you know they'll probably need to throw in that game,
So I'm willing to, you know, not not you know,
draw too many conclusions from it. But you know, once
Sterling Shephard gets back, we're gonna basically see just a
full compliment of these guys, and it's gonna be hard

(25:09):
to trust any one of them in any given week.
For the Raiders, Derek Cart not great here, two hundred
ninety six years passing one touchdown, but two picks. But
for the most part, everybody kind of chips in that
you want to chip in. Darren Waller eleven targets, which
is great. Seven seven catches ninety two yards. Hunter Renfro
the nine targets. Again, this is where we said, without
Henry Ruggs, you want the bumping targets for these guys,
and we did get it here. Seven catches forty nine

(25:30):
yards for Renfro, but he does score the touchdown here.
Josh Jacob seventeen touches, ninety five total yards. Banged up
a little bit. Kenyan Drake one hundred total yards on
ten touches. This again seems basically like probably closer to
what we can expect, at least in terms of the
increased targets for Waller and Renfro going forward, right, Yes,
I don't know if it's true, but there's rumors that

(25:52):
they are going to sign to Shawan Jackson. Obviously the field,
so I feel as though the addition of him as well,
he's not going to demand too many targets, but it's
still gonna be the Rentfro and Waller show. So I
definitely loved the Shawn Jackson there just a stretch of field,
you know, run the nine route about four times a
game and call it a day. So I feel as
though we're getting we're getting good things out of Rentfo.

(26:13):
I really loved like how he's blossoming into a guy,
and I feel like, you know, will it's gonna be wilder.
He's gonna do this thing every single week. Yeah, people
have been really disappointed lately with Waller, you know, because
again that you know, people saw the nineteen targets in
week one or we're like I want that every single week.
Where is it happening? Um, it's a Waller again. This

(26:34):
is gonna be good. And yes, it does sound like
they've signed to Shawn Jackson, who will add a variable
thereon and Brian Edwards just four targets doesn't come up
with a catch. Disappointing here in a day where you
thought maybe it's something where he could kind of have
an impact on stuff like that, but obviously he doesn't.
But in terms of just Waller and Renfro, definitely think
the stock is up here for both of them. Patriots

(26:57):
twenty four Panthers six. Damian Harris does where the touchdown here,
but just fifteen carries thirty yards on the ground. Meanwhile,
Romandre Stevenson ten carries sixty two yards on the ground.
He's also your leading receiver with forty four yards just
two catches. Meanwhile, I will say that this was a
day where the leading receiver on like every team had
such a bizarrely low total of yards that it's really

(27:20):
just crazy. But anyway, just two catches, but he does
have forty four yards. I mean, if you roster Damien Harris,
do you think this is something to be concerned about
with how big a day Romandre Stevenson had. I think
going into draft day, you already knew, you know, Patriots
backfield's going to be, you know, musical chairs, It's going
to be a little confusing sometimes. But I feel as
though you know, Damien Harris, he's gonna produce, He's gonna,

(27:42):
you know, find a way to find an end zone
as well. But Stevenson he's actually you know, out of
the doghouse now. He's actually getting some touches. So that's
worth looking into, you know, you know, in the near future.
I think the one thing I'll say is that when
you have a matchup against a good run defense like
you had with Carolina and you have next week, despite
which Mixing did today against Cleveland, it is something where

(28:02):
it makes me a little worried about Harris just because
he contributes nothing in the passing game, and I can
see a team turning closer to Romandre Stevenson to be
able to kind of be the guy there and take
some work from him. So a little bit of a
downtick for him. But yeah, again, he got work at
least in this game, and you're gonna give him fifteen touches.
He is going to produce more often than not. Meanwhile,
I know it's a tough defense. I know they relied

(28:24):
on their own defense, but Mac Jones just one hundred
thirty nine yards one touchdown with the pick. The touchdown
goes to Hunter Henry just two for nineteen. I mean
Jacobe Myers, dude, four targets, one catch, eight yards. Can
we just drop him. He's got the most receiving yards
in NFL history without a touchdown at this point, and
like he's like averaging a good vie with targets. He's right,

(28:44):
it's going on. We just need a touchdown, man, that's it.
Give him a touchdown and then I'll put him on
the bench for the rest of the season, doesn't matter.
So you're still rostering and then going forward. Yeah, man,
it's annoying because he has the volume, he gets the targets,
and you know, I like what he'd do with the
ball when he's in open space, but it's like, oh,
it's not there, it's not happening. Yeah, it's really obnoxious

(29:08):
at this point. And again I know they don't they look.
Kudos to the Patriots. Okay, they're winning games. And again
this one was maybe a little different. It was all
on their defense. But they're playing it correctly. They're relying
on their defense. They're not letting Mac Jones take, you know,
any chances, and he is executing that game plan to perfection.
So kudos to them, But with it. Yeah, I don't know, man.
I'm a little worried here about Jakobe Myers going forward.

(29:30):
I think you probably could drop him. I roster him.
I'll probably hold him personally because I hold on to
people like a maniac. But I let's go to the
Panthers here. Christian McCaffrey returns just forty nine percent the snaps,
but fourteen for fifty two on the ground, five targets,
four catches, fifty four yards through the air. Do you
think he's here number one running back going forward? Yes,

(29:52):
I feel as though this was a game where they
eased him in. I saw that he split targets out
of the backfield where a mirror adorably and I feel,
you know, they eased him in and he showed up
and he did his thing the rest of the season.
That feels though. He's if he feels good, hamstring didn't
bother him too much today, He's going to be that
RB one we know he could be. I did not
expect him to play in this game. So the fact

(30:14):
that he did, and again he did get you know,
roughly half the snaps, but the fact that he produced
is great to see. Meanwhile, DJ Moore does draw J C. Jackson.
This one just forty six total yards. You have to
assume Sam Darnold's going to get replaced at some point
because he's just been so terrible. But this is five
straight games that are kind of duds here, no more
than seventy three yards in any one of them for
DJ Moore, So what do you think about him going forward?

(30:36):
I'm very concerned. I have a lot of DJ Moore shares,
to be honest, and it's a little annoying because we
have to blame Sam Darnold because Sam Darnald isn't playing
like he was like in the beginning of season, so
we were hoping for a high volume for DJ Moore,
but they have to replace Darnold at this point. I
don't know PJ. Walker's the answer for the rest of
the season. But I don't know. I mean that thing,

(30:58):
what do you think happens if they you replaced starting
with PJ. Walker? Is that stock up, stock down? Or
stock the same for a guy like DJ Moore, stock
the same? Because I don't see it. I don't see
anything like really different from the two. I feel as
though neither one of them or the answer. So we
pretty much just have to suffer, you know, a more
high rest of the season. I'm in agreement with you, man,

(31:20):
this is just so frustrating I player. But yeah, Darnald
is playing terribly at this point time. But I don't
I don't, I do not think I will say that
I don't think it's a downgrade if you go to
PJ Walker for DJ Moore at this point, just because
of the way Darnald is playing, it's just certainly not
an upgrade. And again I think just the bottom line
is what this means is we have to drop DJ

(31:42):
Moore into like I don't know, mid tier, you know,
maybe low end, the wide receiver too, territory, just going
forward on a week to advance, all right. Meanwhile, it's
hill a shopping time for me. That means it is
Pristine Auction time. I have a sports not in my house,
my son Will, who crashes all my live streams and
everything like that. I have another child in the house
who will willingly sacrifice what she actually wants because oh,

(32:03):
Will got something from Pristine Auction. I want something from
Pristine Auction too, So joke is on them because the
more shopping that I do at Pristine Auction, the easier
and less expensive. It is for me, I saw signed
Chris Godwin jersey yesterday, go for fifty eight dollars and
fifty cents. I'm telling you, if you shop for a
sports memorabilia at all, it is Pristine Auction. That's it.
There are currently one hundred and fifty five football helmets

(32:24):

hundred and forty six football items altogether upper auction right now.
There are five thousand, two hundred and eighty four baseball items.
There are ten thousand, five hundred and seventy six sports cards.
There are music items, entertainment items, whatever you want. If

our code Fantasy pros Jaguars nine Bills six. I don't

(33:11):
I don't really want to talk about this game, but
I guess we have to because we're contractually obligated. This
is going to be known as the Josh Allen Game.
And if you don't know why, then you just weren't
watching football today. For the Jags, no James Robinson here.
So Carlos Hyde does get the work. He gained seventy
the total yards on twenty two touches. He does lose
a fumble. Trevor Lawrence leaves briefly with an injury, just

(33:34):
one hundred eighteen yards. CJ. Bethard throws just two passes.
Dan Arnold four catches sixty yards, no one else more
than twenty seven yards. Do we just throw this out completely?
With whatever we were thinking about the Jaguars before? Do
we throw it out completely? Just given the tough matchup
and how weird this game was? Oh man, it is
a roller coaster. Man. I was watching this game and

(33:55):
I'm sitting here looking at it and I'm like, what
is going on right now? Like what's happening. We have
the Josh Allen historical moments happening, and then we have
Josh Allen the quarterback not performing at a high level,
Like what is going on? Then? I just can't put
my thumb on what happened with this game for the
Jackson come out with a win. Was it their defense?

(34:15):
Was it Trevor Lawrence? Was it had nothing to do
with their offense? Man? And I mean they scored nine points.
It wasn't whether or not it was there a spirited
effort for their defense or the Bills just looking totally lost.
I have no idea what it was, but I mean, look,
I'll go through it. I'll go through it from the
Bill's side also, But to me, I throw out this
entire game like, I don't know what to do with it.

(34:37):
It's bizarre world. I don't care about it for Fantasy burn.
I mean, it sucks. It sucks that all these guys, right,
I don't even know, well, I guess long term regardless
of this game, like we love James Robinson when he's healthy.
Of course, I get this all the time. You and
I don't get to podcast together. What's their overall opinion
on guys like weisca chanal two people wait for tomal

(34:57):
Agnew Marvin Jones. Do you think any of them can
be relevant going forward? It's hard for Schnell, I mean,
he has that you know, target share. It's hard to
drop a guy that has that high target share, you know,
week to week and it just looks nasty. But Marvin Jones, man,
we've been wanting to get him, you know, in the
end zone. You know, he's coming off of back to
back seasons nine touchdowns. That's what we wanted to see,

(35:18):
you know, when he came to the Jags, and we're
not seeing that. So I honestly, I don't have an
opinion on any of them because I can't start any
of them week to week. Yeah, that's how I feel.
I do not want to have any of these guys
in my lineup on a week to week basis. I'll
go through the bills here. I don't even know how
to analyze them. We'll start the disaster as a whole.

(35:39):
Of course, let's start with the running backs. So Zach
Moss did leave with a possible concussion in this one,
but he was not doing anything anyway before he left.
Twenty four total yards, five touches Devin Singletary. Meanwhile, thirteen
touches fifty nine yards looks you know, kind of good
in the passing game at the very end there as
they were trying to catch up. So look, I do
this every week with Zach Moss, and I think, oh,
I kind of feel latively comfortable with them. I'll rank him.

(36:01):
It's like a low end RB two, and half the
time you get absolutely nothing from him. Can you start
either of these running backs going forward? Uh? No, absolutely none.
We already know the RB one is really Josh Allen,
So I feel as though you're gonna have trush trust
issues there to begin with um Singletary. Yeah, he gets
involved in like the garbage shine, you know, pass catching.
But it's like, man, it's just a stickler trying to

(36:22):
figure out if it's most if it's Singletary. You know,
I just chop them both. I have no shares of
either of them. Yeah, I'm done at this point. Yeah,
I'm not kidding. No, I mean that's the correct answer.
As I like, and we're done, what do you want?
I mean, there are better places for me to, you know,
pull out my hair and be angry about fantasy production
at this point, So I agree that Josh Allen, I mean,

(36:44):
he throws for two sixty four he runs for fifty
but three turnovers. Pardon me, two interceptions and a fumblest
to Fond Diggs eight targets, six catches eighty five yards
doesn't kill you. Manuel Sanders eight targets, four catches. Uh,
Colby Easley eleven targets, eight catches thirty three yards. Do
we just throw it all out here or what? Yeah?
Shop it? I agree, just stop it. I love it.

(37:06):
Ravens thirty and That's what I'm doing. So I want
somebody tell me it's okay for me to do that.
Ravens thirty four, Vikings thirty one. In overtime, Lamar Jackson
throws for two sixty six and three touchdowns. He rushes
twenty one times for one hundred and twenty yards, just nuts.
Hollywood Brown twelve targets, nine catches one hundred and sixteen yards,
Mark Andrews ten targets, five catches forty four yards, and

(37:27):
Rashad Bateman eight targets, five catches fifty two yards. So
now we had no Sammy Watkins in this game. We
didn't know necessarily what was going to happen. Decent game
for Bateman at this point, but what are your thoughts
on him going forward? I love him, man, Every week
he's getting better. How I look at it feels always
getting more involved. I feels the target share it's always
going to be there for him. I love you know
what Markey's Brown is doing as well. On the other

(37:47):
side of it, I feel as though they compliment each other,
so it's actually working out how we hope. But I'm
actually happy Sammy Watkinson played this game to throw it out,
wrenching it because I feel as though somebody's going to
take a hit out of there because Sammy Watkins, you know,
he comes in. He brings some type of target share
as well, so it's kind of weird to see who
takes that hit, and hopefully he's not Baban. Well that's

(38:07):
the thing. When Sammy Watkins does come back, you do
think that it's going to decrease the value of either
one of the big three here with Andrews, Bateman or Brown. Okay,
very good. I'm hopeful that it won't just because I
feel like it works so well with those three guys,
but it will be another mouth to feed, so we'll
have to see there. Meanwhile, Nola Tavius Murray, your running
backs all come through if you had the intestinal fortitude

(38:29):
to start him. DeVonta Freeman thirteen for seventy nine on
the ground, but he does have a receiving touchdown as well.
Levy on Bell eleven for forty eight in the ground
with the touchdown. You know, Nola Tavis Murray. As I said,
so which running backs, if any, are you rostering from Baltimore?
Davonte Freeman's man, he's looking he's looking not washed. I'll
say that he's looking hungry. So I do like, you

(38:50):
know what I'm seeing from him getting involved in the
passing game as well, which is great. So he will
be the one that possibly only roster because that feels
that he has a leg up on Murray with him
missing time. So moving forward, it might be DeVante Freeman,
then Murray and then let though. I'll be honest, Freeman
has looked really good, surprising me. I basically did not
want anything to do with any of these guys, but

(39:11):
he has looked good. And obviously they don't like Tyson
Williams for whatever reason. So what happened does look I
have no idea dude, I expected you to be able
to tell me because I don't know. I've been I've
been looking for something. He insulted. Somebody's you know, relative
or something. I don't know what's going on. For the Vikings,
Dalmin Cook seventeen for one ten on the ground A
near touchdown here doesn't get in there, but Kirk Cousins
one hundred and eighty seven yards does have two touchdown passes.

(39:34):
He also rushes for a touchdown. Justin Jefferson five targets,
three catches, sixty nine yards and the score. Tyler Conklin's
seven targets, five catches forty five yards. Adam Feeland seven targets,
just two catches just six yards. He does have the
touchdown now. So Feeland has a touchdown three straight games here,
and this is really the first time in a while
that he really didn't produce beyond the touchdown. But that's

(39:55):
always kind of been the concern with him, that he's
just this touchdown dependent wide receiver. Overall thoughts on Adam
feeling going forward. I love touchdowns. I feel as though
everybody in fantasy love touchdowns, and Adam Feeland's that guy
to score touchdowns He's been leading you know, the Vikings
for years in the red zone targets, So I feel
as though, why will we straight away from that? I mean, yeah,
you can label him as a touchdown dependent guy, but

(40:17):
we all love touchdowns, right. If he's gonna do his
job every single week, I'm gonna start him. Yeah, I
mean there there has not been regression in that department
very much. Probably we've been waiting for it forever and again,
to be as fair to the guy as possible, this
was the first week where he needed the touchdown to
save his day in a while. In a while, I mean,
because the last couple of weeks he had at least

(40:37):
been getting it done. So yeah, I'm a Theeland fan.
I keep rolling with him, even if sometimes it's a
little uncomfortable to watch whatever. Man, I do that with
like ninety percent of fantasy players at this point. Charters
twenty seven, Eagles twenty four. Justin Herbert really really good
in this one thirty two of thirty eight for three
hundred fifty six yards two touchdown passes. He also runs

(40:58):
one in the two touchdown passes of Corset go to
noted stalwarts Steven Anderson and Donald Tarham Keenan Allen does
come through thirteen targets, twelve catches, one hundred and four yards.
But I want to talk about Mike Williams. Five targets,
two catches, fifty eight yards. Really, it's all just one
forty nine yard catch here. Williams this season has games
with nine, ten, twelve, and sixteen targets, but he now

(41:19):
has three straight games with exactly five targets and exactly
two catches. The yardage was better in this one, but
he has been very disappointing after incredibly hot start. So
what do you think about Mike Williams going forward? A man,
I had my concerns with him going into this season,
to be honest, but him starting off hot was great
and then all of a sudden just stale. So I

(41:42):
can't really say what's going on because he's getting the volume.
He's just not producing right now. It might be something
going on in his head. But we all know that
Mike Williams can be a big play guy. Even though
every single catch he goes up for that's contested, it
looks painful when he comes to the ground as usually,
so he's like he's like one of those guys you
just gotta be like clinching on every time he catches it.

(42:04):
But I really don't know what's going on. And rest
of the season, he's on my bench, he's on life.
He's a guy who's really really slipping for me each
week basically, I mean, he's moved all over my rankings
this whole year from my restip rankings. But the bottom
line is this, like if you're if he's gonna get
five targets every single week, like he's gotten each of

(42:24):
the last three weeks, So that's not gonna cut in
no matter what. Like, you know, he's not the type
of guy because he usually gets targeted so far downfield
hasn't quite as much this year as he has in
years passed. But he's usually the guy who's not gonna
have a crazy catch right anyway. So if you're just
gonna get five targets, not gonna get done. You're gonna
need more than that. And so for now, he's a
guy who probably got to think about is maybe a
wide receiver three, but that's about it. After somebody who

(42:46):
looked like he was a wide receiver two borderline wide
receiver one. With the way things were trending, on at
the point. So I don't know, man, whatever look and
it's hard to really criticize, at least with the way
Herbert played in this game. He could do basically whatever
we want, had such a great rue. He doesn't want
to target Mike Williams in this game, and it worked
out for them. That's totally okay with me. And for
Chargers stands, I'm sure. I mean, while Austin Eckler seventeen

(43:09):
carries fifty nine yards, three targets, three catches twenty three yards,
I don't know. Not much to say here about Austin
Eckler for me, anything for you, stud Stud Muffin. For
the Eagles, we talked about the running backs already, but
just a kind of solid game overall offensively, I mean,
Jalen hurts just seventeen past attempts. It's probably what they
want to do. They want to rely on the run,
especially in the game against the Chargers here, who are

(43:31):
beatable on the ground. He completes eleven of them, just
one hundred sixty two yards and a touchdown. He also
runs for sixty two yards. He avoids the turnovers. The
big star here, though, is DeVante Smith six targets, five catches,
one hundred and sixteen yards with the touchdown. Now he
comes off this terrible game against the Lions where we
all expected him to go nuts. One catch for fifteen

(43:51):
yards against the Lions. So what do you think about him?
Are you confident in him going forward? I actually like
what's going on with this offense right now, even though
we spoke about the running backs, trust issues, etc. Etc.
So I like what they did, what they put on
display at this game. You know, get Smith the ball
at all costs, make him the number one target moving forward.
You just have to have the ball in his hands.

(44:12):
He's a playmaker, and obviously him finding the end zone
was the extra cherry on top. So that's great if
they can keep this going with them. So I love it. Yeah,
I think he'll probably be inconsistent a little bit. My
big worry with him is just the fact that this
looks like the Eagles have a formula right now and
it is for Jalen Hurts to be really really conservative

(44:32):
with this and run the ball a lot and not
take chances. And yeah, Smith had a great game, and
yeah he found the end zone on but it wasn't
like a red zone you know, they weren't like on
the Tan or something when he found it. So I
do worry a little bit about that. I think he's
still going to be inconsistent, but this definitely makes me
a little more excited about him. And it really looked
the offense in the passing game. It runs through two
players right now. It runs through Defonte Smith and it

(44:54):
runs through Dallas Goddard, who you know. Six targets, only
three catches forty three yards, but a thirty five percent
target share. It is going to lead the good things.
Here for a titand let's go to the Chiefs thirteen
packers seven. This is just the same old right now.
From the Chiefs. Mahomes throws for just one hundred and
sixty six yards with the touchdown. Travis Kelsey eight targets,

(45:16):
fifty five I'm sorry, five catches sixty eight yards with
the touchdown. Tyree Hill eleven targets. That's good. Four catches
thirty seven yards, Darrel Williams twenty two touches for seventy
seven yards. Still starting, I mean, like that's my that's
my reaction, just that, I mean, you're still starting each

(45:36):
of these guys every single week I guess, But let
me ask something about Mahomes. Let me ask you, Mahomes. Okay,
he's got two touchdowns now in his last three games.
Those three games have come against the Titans, the Giants,
and the Packers. What's your rest of season outlook on
Patrick Mahomes if he's not lighting up those defenses? Like,
I'm seriously concerned, Like he should have like eight touchdowns

(45:57):
in those three games. And it's like, I don't know
what's going on. Is he hurt? Is the surgery took
some of his you know, talent, like I don't know,
like space jam but his stand on the football is
in a monstar situation? Is that what we've got here?
Has anybody actually investigated that? Please, yes, please look into
that because I don't know what's going on. Because I
was just explaining to one of my buddies, like he's

(46:19):
doing the things that we loved him to do. He's
doing the no look passes, He's doing like the crazy
acrobatic athletic passes and running the ball. He's doing everything
he's done before I got him to the super Bowl.
And it's like, what's going on now? And you're still
doing it? But it's not working, so maybe people are
figuring him out. It really does seem like, you know again,

(46:39):
it's it's like they drop him deep and they just
you know, force him to sort of go underneath and
he's not doing it. But it does seem like Andy Reid,
it's so smart defense offensively, and Patrick Mahomes is so
talented that they figure it out. And the fact that
this has been going on now for several games, it's
it's really bad. Like it worries me a ton right
now going forward. I mean, let me ask something. If

(47:01):
you roster Mahomes, would you sell it? Because people still
want Patrick Mahomes right, nobody's out there being like he's
not a starter in a league. Would you try to
sell him now even though his value is obviously low,
But would you sell low in a way that says
I'm selling him low, but I actually think his value
is even lower than that. Yes, absolutely, Like there's a
thing in fantasy football, names sell. The big names sell

(47:21):
their name is you know, still big enough where people
face light up like, oh my god, I have a
trade offer and I can get Patrick Mahomes. You're still
gonna be able to get some type of return. It
may not be the best of what you can get,
but you're still getting something in return for Pat Mahomes.
That's very concerning right now. It feels so disgusting to
even do that. But anyway, in the meantime, you still

(47:42):
are starting, of course Tyreek Hill, and you're still starting
Travis Kelsing, you're still starting whatever running back, right Yep,
very good for the Packers. It's really hard to take
anything away from this just because of no Aaron Rodgers.
Jordan Love one hundred and niney yards with a touchdown
and a pick. He has twenty three yards rushing, a
Davante Adams fourteen targets, six catches forty two yards. Alan
Are with the twenty yard touchdown catch, Aaron Jones twelve

(48:02):
or fifty three in the ground. Ajdlon eight for forty
six on the ground, plus he catches four passes for
forty four yards. Do you just throw this entire game
out right now completely given that a shorty month stop
it deleted, it didn't happen. So I think the one
thing that we should mention is the fact that Aaron Rodgers,
if everything goes right, is should clear protocol on Saturday

(48:24):
next week, the day before the game. But God help
us have sued. Not everything goes right. So just next
week if he doesn't clear and it is Jordan Love again,
what would you be thinking about with these guys? Would
you start? I mean, I assume you're still starting Davanta
Adams and you're still starting Aaron Jones even with Jordan
Love next week, right, Yeah, you gotta start those guys.

(48:44):
I mean, the offense runs through those two guys. There's
nobody else really realistically, you can you know, pivot to.
I feel like AJ Dillon's one of those guys you
can't start then. Yeah, he's one of those people you
kind of have to pull back on everybody else. You know,
you're probably not starting him anyway. I agree. I do
think that AJ Dillon gets a bump here with Jordan Love.

(49:04):
But AJ Dillon's a guy who right now I feel
I could be a superstar in this league if he
if he got a full run, right, I mean, he's
what's so funny is again, four targets, four catches. He's
a guy who didn't catch any passes at all in
college and he's been much more involved in the passing game.
Last one here at Cardinals thirty one, forty nine or seventeen.
No Coyler Murray, no DeAndre Hopkins, Chase Edmonds leaves very
early with an injury, but it does not matter. James

(49:25):
Connor twenty one carries ninety six yards and two touchdowns
on the ground, plus catches all five of his targets
for seventy seven yards through the air. I mean he
had been viewed as a very touchdown dependent running back
at this point so far. Does this change anything for
you going forward? I mean, I like, like I said,
I like touchdowns. I like guys that are going to

(49:45):
find the end zone. So I tweeted out the couple
days ago, like I was wondering if this is like
a Todd Gurley twenty twenty season, Like the first eight
weeks Todd Gurley was a score and score and scorn.
Then Todd Gurley went to a complete dead stop after
you know, Week Gate. So I was hoping, like, you know,
hopefully this isn't what James Connor's doing, And I don't
think so. Man, He's really rocking and rolling, He's finding

(50:06):
the end zone and passes out of the backfield. I
always believe in James Connor when he was a featured
back when he didn't have the full workload every single week,
taking the bumps and bruises, you know. So I feel
as though, moving forward, if Chase Edmonds is okay to
play next week, you know, we might get another James Connor,
you know, deaf taxes and two touchdowns. Maybe it's really
remarkable what they do. It is the top matchup next

(50:28):
week against Carolina. But yeah, I mean, Connor has really
been one of the true surprises. And of course I
don't think it would have had this big a game
had Jase Edmonds not got injured. But still, yeah, he
looked great in this game too, Like he ran. He's
sort of ran, like a guy who was like, I know,
this is the game of my life, and I'm going
to make sure everybody else knows it right now. Cope
McCoy meanwhile, completely passible two hundred forty nine yards and

(50:51):
a touchdown to Connor. Christian Kirk catches all six of
his targets ninety one yards. Again, this is another one
of these games, you know, on the starting quarterback, I
assume he can just sort of disregard everything else right
in this game. Yeah, I was actually hoping for a
bigger game out of Rondel Moore. Yeah, it's really tough.
I love what he doesn't. He's one of those electric guys,
like he has home runability. So I was hoping for

(51:13):
a lot of dump off passes, check down screens, et cetera,
et cetera to get him involved. But you know, unfortunately
we just had to chop it. No, Murray. I really
thought that this would be a game that they would
try to get more involved because A I figured they
would struggle offensively and they'd want to get really creative.
So I thought he would be a decent start, but
they bottomlized. I didn't struggle offensively. You know, I don't
know what you know. The forty nine ers came out

(51:34):
just with a vision game, man. I guess yeah, they
really had it. They came out and again for the
forty nine ers, we've already talked about Brandon I, Yuke
and Deebo Samuel As we mentioned nine targets, five catches,
sixty three yards. Let's talk very quick about the running
game here. Elijah Mitchell eight for thirty six on the ground.
Oddly enough, he factors in in the bassing game. Five targets,
catches all of them for forty three yards through the air.

(51:56):
Everybody was very excited about Jeff Wilson being active and
everything like that, but completely uninvolved here to Michael Hasty,
doesn't really factor in at all. So just you know,
now that Jeff Wilson has been activated, Trey Sermon was,
you know, not active for this game on a coach's decision,
So he's pretty much irrelevant. Just break down your overall
thoughts and San Francisco running backs going forward. I think

(52:17):
it's Mitchell's backfield, Jeff Wilson coming back. I was, you know, thinking,
like you know, Kyle Shanahan and his crazy play calling.
You know, Jeff Wilson's due for a big game, because
that's just what we saw. So it's like, this is
Mitchell's backfield moving forward. Hasty like he said, it's not
really like a big, huge factor and though we saw
flashes of him in the beginning season, but I don't

(52:37):
think he's nothing week the week that we can trust
and starting a line us. But Elijah Mitchell full send
it to the moon. Yeah, I'm very excited to see
him continue to contribute and again to do so in
the passing game here was great when it was a
negative game script, so they had to be in. Instead
of taking him out, they continued to use him. So
that was great. He's really talented. It's been it's been
really good to see here. All right. We made it

(52:57):
