On this momentous FLASHBACK episode, I chat with writer and director Eric Appel who co-wrote and directed the 2x Emmy-winning ROKU original WEIRD: The Al Yankovic Story starring Daniel Radcliffe as Weird Al. (I also make an appearance in the film.) He has also directed an array of TV episodes including Brooklyn Nine-Nine and the comedy action thriller series Die Hart starring Kevin Hart and John Travolta. After attempting to schedule this interview for many months, Eric was kind enough to give me an entire 90min of his time.
