Danny Zaslavsky is a successful business and community leader within the greater Kansas City area. As general manager and partner at Country Hill Motors he has helped grow his family’s business into one of the region’s most successful independent auto dealerships, while also investing heavily in the community as president of the Mid-Atlantic LGBT chamber of commerce.

Under Danny’s expansion and leadership, County Hill Motors has grown significantly over the last decade adding new service lines, additional businesses and new locations across the metro. In 2008 Danny launched Country Hills Season of Giving, which began with donating a mini van packed with toys to a single mother in need. Under his leadership this tradition has continued and expanded to include other areas of the businesses and community members having given away more than two dozen mini vans, furnaces, groceries for a year, gifts for children as well as home cooked meals for families with children staying at Children’s Mercy. He along with his partner is the proud father of 2 boys and has recently become a technology investor and consultant.

During this episode, Cory and Danny talk about getting into your family business and the mindset of solving problems from the customer perspective. Learn about Danny’s journey into his family business along with capitalizing on opportunities and adapting to the changing market.
