Individuals who experience life with an ADHD diagnosis can often encounter challenges when managing their money.

In this episode, I sit down with Mariah Hudler, LCSW, MBA, CFT-I ™--mental health practitioner, Financial Therapist, business owner and someone who identifies as having ADHD--to talk about positive and often undervalued aspects of ADHD behaviors that can be a benefit in the financial realm.

Mariah supports her clients experiencing neurodivergence in being with the challenging expereinces and emotions that come with financial challenges while also supporting them in seeing the strenghts and assets that ADHD can offer.

Give this episode a listen (and share it!) to more about:

  • How Mariah's ADHD clients initially come to her to seek support--they're usually presenting symptoms of something other than financial trouble
  • How some of our world's greatest entrepreneurs used the creativity and and energy of their ADHD brains to build a variety of businesses and income streams
  • How Acceptance and Commitment Therapy supports clients in being with their challenges and also identifying how to move forward to create solutions
  • How exploring your "Money Story" can help you gain insights into your current money behaviors
  • "Dropping Anchor" and how this exercise can help us stabilize amidst the storm of our overwhelming thoughts and emotions.
