Kyle reflects on his personal growth over the last few years plus the challenges he’s faced around health, particularly related to mould exposure and how these issues impacted his performance.
We also discuss the evolution and changes in middle distance racing and the importance of maintaining the balance between training and adequate recovery during the pressures of a much longer racing season. The importance of perspective, the awareness of the risks of overtraining and the need for athletes to find their own path in a competitive environment are now key to athletic success.
