Almost American Girl: Robin Ha

Robin Ha adopted a love of comics from her mother early in her childhood in Seoul. When her mother abruptly moved her from Korea to the United States years later, Robin embraced her dream of becoming a cartoonist and went on to publish "Cook Korean!," a graphic novel guide to making Korean dishes for Western audiences that is celebrated for merging humor, illustrative talent, and cuisine in a brilliant way. Ha is also the author of the graphic novel memoir "Almost American Girl."
