Often, stories are how we make sense of the world. Sometimes the world helps us make sense of stories. Or serves as a reminder. This is the case for the Witch's Leg, a large oak tree standing in the middle of the ruins of St Mary's church hidden within the forest. According to legend, it is a defiant remnant of an alleged witch buried there during the witch trials in England. But the oak may not be the only remnant of the departed....
In 1609 the inhabitants of Hylton Castle were haunted by the memory of a recently deceased stable boy. Or was it a brownie? A fascinating story with surprising roots and inbuilt sunlight, join us as Liv tells the tale of the Cauld Lad of Hylton.

It's Olympics time again, and this time there's been quite a scene at the Seine. Which reminded us of a story we have been meaning to tell for a long time, that of L'Inconnue de la Seine (The Unknown Woman of the Seine). Even though her body allegedly washed up on the shores of the Seine more than 100 years ago, you'd almost certainly recognise her. You've probably even kissed her. You might even have called her by her current name...
Glasnevin is the spooky heart of Dublin. Saturated in Irish history and paranormal activity the cemetery is the eternal home a million souls. And next door - well what better than a haunted pub. Come in and enjoy a pint... if you dare.

In a small village in England in the twelth century two strange children appeared by a wolf pit. This is unusual enough on it's own, but these children spoke a language never heard in Woolpit and their skin was, well... green.
