“Evil is not some grand, supernatural force. It’s the small moments of inhumanity, the quiet choices to look away, the subtle dismissals of suffering. That is where evil thrives.”
— Susan Neiman, moral philosopher

I am showing up today with a broken heart and a fierce, unwavering spirit. If you’ve been paying attention, you know that on October 7, 2023, Hamas terrorists invaded Israel, massacring over 1,200 innocent men, women, and children and taking hundreds hostage. Women were raped, tortured, and dragged through the streets. Babies were ripped from their mothers' arms. And yet, the world has largely remained silent.

Let me very clear: this is not a political statement—this is a human statement.

I refuse to stand by while Jewish women in my life are suffering, not just from the horrific attacks but from the deafening silence of their non-Jewish friends and from the world. These women—our sisters—are grieving, terrified, and questioning why so few are checking in, offering support, or even acknowledging their pain.

What is happening in Israel and in the tunnels of Gaza is pure evil. And if this doesn’t break your heart, if it doesn’t ignite righteous outrage, I urge you to check yourself.

This episode is a call to action for every woman who believes in the dignity of human life. I implore you to:
Break the silence—reach out to Jewish friends, acknowledge their pain, and stand with them.
Recognize evil when you see it—do not minimize or excuse acts of terror.
Reject selective outrage—if we stand for women, we must stand for all women.
Take action—use your platform, speak out, and refuse to be complicit in silence.

Never again...

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
