Ash and the party reach the Violet Gym in hopes of earning his first Johto Badge! An encounter with the Gym Leader, Falkner, leads to some serious Flying-Type battles. This episode is packed with action and we get to see some great battling in a Gym setting. A great takeaway from this episode is about the bond that a Trainer makes with his Pokémon, and how important it is to know their limits.
