In this episode of the Grace Valley Men's Bible study, Alex Hamsley explored Matthew 5:7, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy." Alex connected this teaching from Jesus with the story of Rahab, who showed mercy by protecting Israelite spies at Jericho and later received God's mercy for her family. Alex explained that biblical mercy is more than just feeling sorry for someone—it's taking action to help them, just as God shows mercy to us. This lesson reminds us that showing mercy is both a blessing we receive and a way we can reflect God's character in our everyday lives.
