Welcome back to Have Good Ripple Effect! I’m Lisa Even, your host, and today, we’re diving into one of my favorite topics: building confidence as a leader. Whether you’re leading a team, tackling a new project, or simply trying to inspire others, I believe confidence is the key to showing up as the leader you’re meant to be.
In this episode, I share a story from a recent coaching session with a young leader struggling with confidence. She wanted to know how to get her team and her leaders to take her seriously. My advice? Start with one small shift: move from asking for permission to asking for confirmation.
Here’s what I mean: Instead of saying, “What do you think?” try saying, “Here’s what I recommend. Do you agree?” This subtle change can transform how others see you and how you see yourself. Together, we’ll explore the power of bringing your ideas to the table confidently, creating space for others’ feedback without second-guessing your own value.
