Andrew Loefke, also known as LoF or andy13, is a veteran bassist and vocalist with decades of experience in rock and roll. His sound is heavily influenced by British blues, East Coast punk, and psychedelic rock, resulting in a heavy, loud, and relentless musical style.
Loefke is an active member of the Buffalo, New York music scene, currently performing with six bands: Chloroform, Iron Fist, Tombstone Hands, Shoot Ya, Cowboy Vampires, and Bitey. He also regularly organizes and participates in one-off projects and short-term musical events for charity and tributes.
Music runs in his family, with his grandfather, Alvin Loefke, being a professional pedal steel player who had charted songs in the 1950s.
Loefke's career began early; he was playing clubs by the age of 12 and touring North America in his twenties. Throughout his career, he has released multiple records, worked as a session musician, and even composed music for a ballet. In addition to his performance career, Loefke spent over eight years as the front-of-house sound production manager at Mohawk Place, a well-known music venue in Buffalo.
Andrew visited the Flamingo Lounge on September 8, 2025 for an intmate conversation on his music and touring life.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage
Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
