Almost now you Know brian that this was. Coming, like
we need to start at the very beginning of Your bigfoot,

journey your odyssey as it. Were did it start with your,
interest let's start. There did it start when you were
a kid with legend Of Boggy creek like a lot
of people have that, story or did it start with an?
EXPERIENCE i purposely and all my listeners know, this but
just to let you, know and we talked a little

bit about it at the end when we were just
saying goodbye on your. Podcast BUT i don't know a
whole lot about all of your, experiences AND i specifically
don't go listen to other, shows even if it's your,
own CAUSE i like to be. Surprised i'm big about.
That SO i don't know a lot about your your
experiences and your journey With.

Bigfoot it started WHEN i was.

Born now we're not going to go back that. Far
it's more, like grew.

Up in the mountains Of North, georgia AND i grew
up hearing stories from my great grandparents and my grandparents
about what we now know or WHAT i now know
to be sasquatch or.

Bigfoot they didn't use.

That it wasn't really in the nomenclature at the. Time
it was more of hairy, men wild. Men they didn't
know what to call these. Things BUT i grew up
hearing those, stories And i've talked about this so many
times on my show and other. Shows there was one
story in particular that stuck out to me beyond all.
Others there was This gensng. HUNTER i think it was
in the late, eighties around eighty seven eighty. Eight ish

went up on a mountain as the crow. Flies it
was about ten or fifteen miles from WHERE i grew
up and WHERE i lived at the time In North.
Georgia he got up and he Went jensng. Hunting that's
what he did to sort of supplement his. Income he
had a buddy that would go up and do this with.
Him this particular, day his buddy that went with him
didn't feel, well so it was just. Him he went

up On Lookout. Mountain he was doing this. THING a
couple of hours in he's digging around and he hears
what sounds like somebody walking up to the area where he's.
Working he's, like, oh, WELL i guess my buddy feels.
Better maybe he's coming up here and he's going to
finish the day helping me look For. Jensay, well some
time passed and his friend should have been, there but he,

wasn't so he didn't think much of. It he just
kept on. WORKING a couple hours go, by he hears
the same, thing but it's getting, louder so he actually keeps,
working but he's kind of listening to this in the.
Background he's, thinking, well maybe this is my buddy, finally
but he looks up and about ten or fifteen feet
away from him stands this seven plus foot Tall harry

fasquatch staring at.

Him they looked at each.

Other for a few, minutes probably more like a few,
seconds but you, know he looks at this thing and
it's just standing there staring at, him and it's kind
of breathing. Hard it's kind of making this, rough growley
kind of. Sound and he, said the weird thing was
this thing kind of growled at him and then turned
and walked away back into the woods.

From whence it. Came but the really cool thing to me.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
That's stuck out about this particular story is he said
this thing was Almost i've described it as if this
thing had had a, stroke like it was part of its.

Body it was either the left side of the right.

Side it was sort of dragging its arm and its
leg and its foot behind, it so it was either
injured or it had some sort of a medical. Issue
AND i thought that was a really cool, part for
lack of a better, term part of the, story Because
i'd never really heard anything like. That you hear people
saying they have, encounters but it's the little nuance is

for me. Especially you know how many people you've talked
to that have had these kind of. Encounters when you
get that little nuance that sticks, out that's, DIFFERENT i
tend To i'm like a rabid. DOG i just latch onto. That,
well this guy comes down the mountain way faster than
he went up that, morning and he comes back into
town and he tells a few people about his, encounter and.

Of course you got the.

NAYSAYERS i don't think anybody ever really called him a
liar to his, face but everybody was talking about it
behind his. Back and he just went on and did
his thing and lived out the rest of his. Life
he may still be alive for ALL i. Know BUT
i would hear this story from my great grandfather in,
particular AND i always thought in the back of my
mind it was just one of those stories that people

tell their kids and their grandkids to keep them. Safe.
Right he wanted to keep me out of the deep. Woods,
hey if you go back, there the buggers are going
to get you kind of. Thing SO i never really
thought too much about, it but that story always stuck with.
Me now fast, FORWARD i grew. Up life goes. On
at around the age of, TWELVE i had my own
experience in the woods THAT i thought was related to.

BIGFOOT i did not see what it, was BUT i
fancied myself a little bit of a hunter at that.
AGE i would go out with my bb gun or
my twenty two AND i would kill birds or squirrels
or whatever UNTIL i started killing things and it really
made me feel, bad SO i just stopped AND i
would just carry the, gun basically to look cool in the,
woods BUT i.

Loved to go out and.

Explore we were very poor WHEN i was a, kid
so we lived in a rented house that had this
big swath of. Land in, retrospect it was probably a
couple of hundred, acres AND i would go out and
play in the woods. Daily it was my, thing, right
it was my. Escape my home life was kind of.
Shitty my dad was an, alcoholic he was into. Drugs

the home life was not. Great my, mom bless her,
heart she did the best she. Could but that was my.
ESCAPE i would escape that life and go out into the.
Woods but there was this one area in that swath
of woods THAT i would never. Go And i'd been
just about everywhere else, exploring BUT i didn't like this
part of the. WOODS i always got this really horrible

feeling THAT i was being, watched that feeling of, dread
AND i was just. Scared that was the. WORD i
was just scared to be in that part of the.
Woods AND i didn't understand, why Because i'd go out
there in the broad daylight AND i just couldn't go
very far in the. Woods but one DAY i DECIDED
i was going to do. IT i was going to
go in the woods and. Explore SO i, did AND

i got into this particular area AND i started hearing
what sounded like something upright bipedal walking and if you've
ever been in the woods in just about. Anywhere i've
been in the woods in a lot of different, places
including The United, kingdom and the woods can be very,
similar but there's something about the Southeastern United states for

some reason for. Me the woods can be so thick
in the summertime you can't see ten feet in front
of you in some. Places AND i was in one
of those situations WHERE i could hear this thing walking
and at the TIME i didn't realize what it, was
and only now knowing WHAT i know now and the
research That i've done and all the studying That i've
done on these creatures and other, primates it was basically

a bluff, charge is WHAT i was. Experiencing it sounded
like this thing was as big as a. Tank it
was running towards, me and then it would stop, ten,
fifteen twenty feet away on the other side of this
underbrush and these thick stand of trees THAT i couldn't see,
through AND i was. PETRIFIED i wrote about this in
my first. BOOK i THINK i described it in the

book as it feeling like my legs were made out
of wooden four by fours and they were stuck into the.
Ground every fiber of my being wanted me to, run
BUT i could not, move AND i just stood. THERE
i heard this thing. GROWLING i heard it. GRUFFING i
heard it making these weird noises and doing this bluff
charge motion for what felt like, forever probably twenty thirty.

Seconds finally the, fight the flight or fight kicked, in
and it was all about. FLIGHT i was assholes and
elbows running the opposite direction the probably eight or nine
hundred yards it was to get back to MY i
literally jumped over this fence that we had around the
house and landed in the, yard like, Okay i'm. Safe

my mom was in the, house AND i didn't say
a word to. HER i didn't tell her anything about
what had just. Happened what WAS i going to. SAY
i was in the woods and something scared. ME i was,
twelve BUT i wasn't an. IDIOT i knew IF i
told my mom, that she was the kind of lady
that was going to, Say, hey guess what you're not doing.
Anymore you're going to stay out of the. Woods you're
going to stay in the. Yard AND i certainly didn't want,

That BUT i tell, YOU i didn't go in the
woods for a long. TIME i think it was probably
about almost a. YEAR i know it wasn't the rest
of that. Summer the summer had just started in school
had just gotten, out SO i was really excited about
the summer coming. Up BUT i did not venture into the.
WOODS i would play in the open field and there
was a very large pine, thicket probably three hundred yards

away from the, house but you could still see the
house from the pine, Thicket SO i would play out
there because it was relatively open AND i could still
see the, house which meant if my mom was, outside
she could still see, me SO i felt. Safe but of,
course as life goes, ON i grew. UP i eventually
became a police. OFFICER i was in law enforcement for

a little over sixteen, years AND i just didn't talk
about that. Stuff i'd had A ufo experience WHEN i
was sixteen with my. Mom wou'd seen WHAT i believed
to be an alien. CRAFT i had this experience that
was really. Weird we lived in that house that was
haunted at the. TIME i was hearing voices and there
was a lot of WHAT i believed to be demonic

activity going on in the. House there was just a,
lot BUT i didn't talk about that stuff as an
adult because you have to prosecute. PEOPLE i did a
lot OF dui did dui for a couple of, years
AND dui, attorneys especially In. ATLANTA i went up against
some of the BIGGEST dui attorneys in the. Country they
will dig into your personal life and find anything they possibly.

Can AND i didn't want to be the guy On
facebook posting about big foot and then having to go
into court and talk about it in front of a, jury,
Right SO i just suppressed that and didn't really talk
about it until later on in life when we eventually
left the police. Department back in twenty, sixteen we sold our.
House we bought forty acres in the middle of nowhere

In North, carolina and THEN i started the, show and
THEN i was starting to talk about some of those
experiences THAT i had at a younger. Age but that's
really a very long answer to a short. Question and
what got me interested and started in the subject and
looking into this creature and going down this road and
how many years.

Were you guys at that house where you had that
feeling of dread in that one Area i'd lived.

Speaker 4 (12:44):
THERE i want to say from the age of ten
up until maybe fourteen thirteen, fourteen so maybe three, years four.

Years and would you have that same feeling of dread
no matter when you went, out what time of year
was that there every single, year every single time you
went to that.

Area oh, yeah from day. One from day, one as
soon AS i went into that area of the, WOODS
i always had that.

Feeling because we do.

Speaker 2 (13:13):
Hear of places where it seems like the featsas they
hang for either a long time or, forever and in
other cases where it looks like they're they're more, migratory
they move, around but some AREAS i don't think they
really need to do. That And i'm sure this tract
of land that you guys had probably had plenty of,

food plenty of, water plenty of, coverage of, course so why?
Leave so the thinking probably is maybe that was their
living room or their birthing. Area and it's a good thing, That,
yes we are far removed from a lot of our
primal caveman type, instincts but some of them are still
in our lizard. Brain and Thank god for, it BECAUSE

i can't imagine if you actually walked into that area
and then it's like out of the Movie gray or,
something and you're, like oh, GREAT i am literally in
their living. ROOM i am really screwed.

Here, Yeah and that's exactly even my young brain at,
twelve SOMEHOW i seem to know. That i'm sure it
was probably subconscious on some, level but it kept me
away from that area for a very long. Time probably
the first year to year and a half that we lived,
THERE i would go in that, area and just this

one time during that, summer for whatever, REASON i got
really brave and decided THAT i was going to screw.
It i'm just gonna go BECAUSE i so wanted to
explore as much of that area as, possible BECAUSE i
felt so alive and so at home in the. WOODS
i still do to this very. Day we live in
the middle of forty. Acres we wake up in the,

woods we go to sleep in the. Woods it's Where
i've always felt my most. Comfortable but, that hands down
has been one of the scariest Moments i've ever experienced
in the. Woods AND i know some of it probably
has to do with the fact THAT i was twelve years.
OLD i was going through a lot with the relationship

with my mom and my. DAD i was pre. PUBESCENT
i know that's in the paranormal. World i've had conversations
with people in the past that have asked, me do
you think it was possible that instead Of bigfoot or
something like that that you experienced in the, woods could
it have been something that was going on inside the,
house this demonic entity THAT i felt was present in the.

House maybe it followed you, outside and maybe it wasn't
a flesh and blood sasquatch that you were dealing with
in the. Woods maybe it was this. Entity And i've
always been open to that BECAUSE i did not see
WHAT i was standing in front, Of So i've always
been open to. That my gut has always told me

that it was a, sasquatch that it was something very
flesh and, Blood BUT i don't.

Know i'm open to.

That and the more That i've been in this and
the LONGER i continue to talk to people and document
other strange experiences that people, have the MORE i become
open to. That SO i don't, know it's always.

POSSIBLE i agree on that BECAUSE i know of a
handful of people that and these are just the ones
that have come forward that have SAID i was one
hundred percent flesh and blood apor and THEN i started
to look into, it and Then i've never had any
kind of haunting activity or classic poltergeist. Activity but then

the deeper down the big FOOTHOLE i, went these things
started to happen in my home and it completely changed
their mind about maybe what they were dealing.

With, yeah And i've always been open to that for
myself and to other. PEOPLE i used to separate those
WHEN i would have conversations with people who would, Say,
Hey i'm having these weird, Lights i'm seeing. Orbs sometimes
there's what appears to be alien craft involved and bigfoot,
activity and, like, wow you fit the mother load. Here

you got everything going. On But i'm going to separate
all that weird stuff and put it over, here And
i'm just going to focus on bigfoot because that's not.
Related there's no way that the lights can have anything
to do with bigfoot or vice. Versa AND i don't
think that aliens are curating these bigfoot. ENCOUNTERS i don't
think they're riding bigfoot around on some alien ship and
they're dropping them off to go to the bathroom and

picking them up. Later but the MORE i have these
conversations with, people even THOUGH i haven't experienced some of
those weird things outside of maybe one or two things
of my own experiences that happened just this past summer
that have led me down that path a little. FURTHER
i certainly don't think that these people are making the
stuff up whole. CLOTH i don't think that they're in

it for some nefarious reason to tell these. Stories and
if that is their, EXPERIENCES i have to at least
be open to the fact that there could be some
possible connection between the. Two if you're seeing orbs and
you're hearing tree, knocks and you're seeing physical bigfoot creatures

all at the same. Time maybe sometimes it's just before
or just, after BUT i think there has to be
some sort of. CONNECTION i just don't know what it is.
Now i'm still very flesh and blood when it comes
to these, creatures And i'm very nuts and bolts when
it comes to approaching this subject and the. Research BUT
i think you do yourself and the subject of disservice

if you're not at least open to those kinds of
experiences and those kind of conversations with.

People, yes, absolutely you have to stay at least a
little bit fluid as they, say not so fluid that
your brain falls. Out, no but we have. To and you,
know like you're, saying you got if you got wooden
knocks and you're seeing orbs or UFOs and you have
tracks that are, Disappearing, hey could that all be bigfoot

plus faye plus this plus that's? Sure we. Don't we
just don't, know so we we. Cannot we have to
run from THE e, word the expert, word because nobody
is and AND i BUT i do defer to those
who have actually seen these, things of, course because those
of you who have have much more of an impression
than someone like. Me, Right so in that, case that's

why it's even, cooler because some of you who have
seen them are willing to, GO i saw something that
looked flesh and, blood, yes but and then there's a.
Butt and thank god that there's people willing to say
the butt and then continue with whatever other weird shit
happened after they saw the bigfoot During so thank goodness for.
That and you, know that gensing experience that you just

brought up is very interesting because if someone is going
to make up a, story how how wonderful and wild
and wacky that he would go a look like he
kind of had a stroke or something like he was,
dragging you, know his whole left side and a droopy
or whatever the details, were what a wild and wonderful
thing to come up. With usually it would be, This,

oh it could have ripped me limb from, limb and
it was strapping AND i mean seven feet of COURSE
i could have really left you up probably no matter.
What but to add in that kind of aside to this,
creature it adds some credence to that.

Does AND i should have finished by, saying just a
few years, ago WHEN i started to navigate creating more
content on the. Podcast, obviously the podcast is primarily me
interviewing someone every single week who's had an experience an
encounter with a sasquatch or possibly a dog man or

something that they can't. Explain but AS i was trying
to create more, CONTENT i started navigating that AND i
started narrating, stories AND i would pull these stories from
tons of different places and. Databases AND i was on
one of these databases that actually got access to from
a lady in THE, uk of all, places she put

together thousands of these reports from across The United, states
and around the world on a map THAT i could
search and go. Through So i'm sitting here one, day
probably three years, ago And i'm looking through this, database
And i'm, LIKE i have. Curiosity let me go To.
Georgia BECAUSE i started Sasquatch odyssy specifically to talk to

people primarily in The Southeastern United States, Georgia, Tennessee, alabama
The Carolina Is, florida the places WHERE i grew, up
WHERE i was born and. RAISED i wanted to talk
to people who had had those encounters here closer to,
home BECAUSE i wanted it to be a possibility for
me and everybody. Else So i'm looking for stories to

narrate on the, podcast AND i zoom in on the
map to Extreme North, georgia right in the corner next
To alabama And, tennessee WHERE i grew up In, Somerville.

Georgia there was that, report the.

One THAT i had been, told the STORY i was
told from my great grandparents Were it was right there
in black and, white written, out just LIKE i just
described it for you, guys and just like it was
told to me as a. Kid and there was a
drawing that this gentleman made of what he said he,
saw AND i included that in my first, book Sasquatch

On Leash The truth behind The. Legend it's in the
very first chapter of the. Book you get to see
that drawing that he, did and you get to read
his story verbatim as it was written on this. Database
that was such a validating moment for me that a my,
grandparents my grandparents weren't just bullshitting, me, right they were
actually telling me something that was. True and for, me

as a person who's really into the, subject who's trying
to document as many of these encounters as, possible that
not only did he come back into town and tell,
people because clearly the story kept going because my grandparents
told me about, it but he at some point had
to tell the authorities or tell someone who eventually put

this on this database to keep it out there in
perpetuity for everybody to read from then. On so it
was a whole validating moment for. Me AND i don't
know that it necessarily gave any more credence to the,
story but for me, personally it certainly. Did because we
know these stories are. Told people tell people these. Stories

sometimes they come on your show or my. Show they'll
tell the story once and then they don't talk about it.
ANYMORE i had my own encounters last summer And i've
never reported them to THE bfro or any of these.
Databases and this is WHAT i do for a, living
So i'm guilty of not sharing that. Information but i,
think at least for, Me i've seen. It with podcasting

and these documentaries and the easy access that we have
to all of this, information it's a lot easier, nowadays
or it seems to be for pe people just to
tell their stories on a platform like, this and then
we as podcasters and our shows by default become repositories
for these, shows and that is important to. Me that's

one of the things THAT i really wanted to do
with my show was become that place that people can
come and share these, stories but not just share, them
but hear. Them AND i think it gives a lot of. People,
WELL i know it, DOES i don't.

Know i've been told many times And i'm sure you've
heard this. Too thank you for what you, do because
without your, SHOW i would not have had the courage
to tell my.

It BECAUSE i Heard joe's story OR i Heard judy
story OR i Heard susan's story or. Whoever but that's
what resonates with. People SO i think we have, become
in a, way a new place for people to share
those stories and then be out there in perpetuity for the,
remainder because long after you AND i are gone from this,

World i'm sure our shows are going to exist somewhere
and those stories are going to continue to exist and
hopefully inspire other people to come forward and tell their own.

Stories that is pretty incredible that you just happened to
gain access and have permission to go through her. Information
and that must have been a shocking moment to actually
see it written down Somewhere you're going no f and.

Way, yeah it blew my. Mind and to see the
image that he drew of this creature very much like
he described, it it just brought everything home and really
solidified that this, happened you, know five or ten miles
from WHERE i grew up and had my own experiences
as a. Kid that has been one of the most
powerful things That i've experienced SINCE i got into this.

Ten to fifteen feet away is one hundred percent brown pants.
Stuff so did he talk much about how that affected
him after.

Word, NO i didn't get any of. That there was
none of that. Documented there was nothing in the stories
THAT i was, told because, frankly who do you tell, that,
Right who's going to be curious enough outside of you
OR i or somebody who does this very similar to
what we do that are going to ask those kind of,
Questions and those are the kind of QUESTIONS i try

to get into with the people THAT i have on the,
show because it is important questions to, ask and most
of the time people are too busy laughing or making
fun or denying what they're being told or what happened
during the. Encounter SO i didn't get a whole lot of.
That And i'm SURE i think he was in his
thirties or forties at the. Time he's very elderly at this,

point if he hasn't passed away. Already BUT i would
certainly love more than anything in the world to interview
him and have that one on one conversation to be
able to ask those. Questions but, UNFORTUNATELY i think that
ship's probably sailed at this.

Point, yeah, Yeah AND i, mean look at your, experience
where you JUST i, mean you'd always known that something
just wrong was going on out and at least part
of the woods that you called, home and you didn't
even have to see, it and you had the flight,
response WHICH i, mean that's the right, Response get the hell,

out time to go. Home and that kept you out
of the woods for a, year something that you loved to.
Do it kept you much closer at. Home i'm assuming
maybe to where you could physically see the actual. STRUCTURE
i don't, know BUT i mean ten to fifteen feet.
Away seven feet, tall That's i've always said, That, like

if you go to a lot of The bigfoot, conferences
they'll have a seven, eight, nine, ten whatever foot tall
bigfoot with the, oh what's the, Word i'm looking for
the measuring tape next to. It there we, go and
it is so humbling because you say seven feet or
ten FEET i mean. Ten he's, like forget about, It
but you know seven eight feet. Tall you don't realize

how tall it is until you're standing next to one
of those, examples and then all of a, sudden this
example and fictional monster that you're, Like bigfoot's not a
freaking real and then it just steps out of the
ether and into your. Reality holy. CRAP i mean talk, About,
oh MAYBE i should move to the, desert you, know, like,

oh go To vegas Where shannon. IS i don't think
there's any bigfoot, there you, KNOW i CAN i can
understand people having a Like Carrie. Arnold you, know he
loved to go hunting and his and rest in peace
carry his. Experience hearing him tell that you can hear
it in his, voice Which i'm Sure i'll hear in
your voice WHEN i hear what you have to. Say

that there anybody that goes through this again in their
minds is right back there in those woods and they're
having the brown pants moments. Again because in a lot of,

flight was, canceled so they were delayed coming. Over so
we were kind of behind. Schedule the whole crew gets,
there we meet up at The Olympic project, headquarters where
a couple of days behind. Schedule we only had so
many days to, shoot so we had to divide and.
Conquer so part of the team went one. DIRECTION i
went another direction with another part of the. Team we

were doing a day scout for an area that we
knew we wanted to film in at least one, night
possibly two nights while we were. There so we started
at The Olympic project headquarters and we worked our way.
OUT i had my drone. Up we were looking at
different areas that we were trying to go into and
we started hearing. Whistling now this is middle of the.
Day we're talking one two o'clock in the, afternoon middle

of the, day sun. Shining there was rain moving in
it had rained the night, before but we're getting a
little bit of a couple of moments where we had
some sun behind the clouds parted, ways we get in.

Sun we're hearing this as we're.

Moving so we stopped at one point where we were
coming to an area where there was this bridge we
had to cross, over and we're hearing this. Whistling So
i'm looking at the area where we had heard this,

five or six of us there at this, point kind
of all looking in different, directions trying to figure out
where this whistling's coming. FROM i can't, whistle but it

was basically like a human, like, Hey i'm over, here
kind of. Whistle and we'd heard this multiple times and
it seemed to be following us as we were moving
through the. WOODS i stopped And i'm looking at this
particular area with this big stand of massive, trees probably
seventy five eighty yards away from where we were standing
near this, bridge AND i see a face peek out

from behind the. Tree three quick, peaks probably less than two.
Seconds this lasted just, boom, boom, boom three, times and
it was a, face And i'm completely blown. Away i'm
immediately telling, everybody, hey look here where there's something behind the.
Tree it's peeking out from behind the. TREE i saw a.

Face everybody's getting, Excited chris AND I. CHRIS i gotta
Describe chris a little. Bit he came over from The United.
Kingdom he's Former Queen's. Guard he used to be on
The Queen's. Guard chris is about six foot, five one
hundred and ninety two hundred, pounds, solid, muscular man's man
kind of. Guy he AND i are immediately trying to

figure out how in the hell we're going to get
from where we are up to this. Tree seventy five
yards isn't very far in the big scheme of, things
but when you see the undergrowth and the terrain that
we would have had to gone through to get to this,
area it just didn't make. Sense because of what we
were trying to. Accomplish we knew we weren't going to

NIGHT i had.

Seen something we wanted to, investigate but we just couldn't
safely get there in the amount of time it was
going to take us to do, it so we had
to move. On so we pressed farther into the. Woods
we found some other weird. Things we found some. NUTS
i don't remember exactly what kind of nuts they. Were,
chris if he were, here could tell me exactly right,

now because he actually ended up taking some of these
back to THE. UK i don't know how he got
him through, customs But god bless, him he did. It
we found several stacks of these nuts and it looked
like where something had fat and had a snack, basically
which we found was pretty. Interesting the whistling.

Kind of went. Away we went on about our.

Business we scouted for the night, hike decided this is
the area we're going to come back to that, Evening
so we ended up later that. Evening we come back
ten thirty eleven. O'clock we get everybody, Together we got
the whole. Team now we've got two guys that are
filming with one hundred thousand dollars plus camera. Rigs, right
these are huge cameras on these big backpack mounted monstrosity.

Cameras never seen anything like. It very cool, though one
hundred thousand dollars plus for these rigs a. Piece so
we get to the area where we're going to film
and guess what they can't. Do they can't make their
way in because of the, underbrush the, growth the downed,
trees the. Deadfall it was, treacherous so they kind of

hung back on the. Periphery, Fortunately Chris, craig who Is daniel's,
father And daniel had GoPros on that they were recording,
with AND rpg was. There. Ryan ryan had this like
nineteen ninety eight sony handycam night vision camera that he
was carrying around in the woods. Filming that's all we

could get out there to. Film bubbo has a, thermal
So bubo has his thermal. Monocular he And daniel see
a heat signature and they're passing the thermal back and
forth to each. Other bubbo's Letting daniel use. It he's watching,
him telling, them, hey look there's something over. Here there's
something over here that's a pretty big thermal image that

they're getting on This Monocho. Killer So bubbo turns around and,
says who's gonna go out there and see what that?
Is and of Course i'm. Going i'm definitely. Going SO
i start heading out into the. Woods everybody else is hanging.
Back i'm thirty forty fifty yards at this point into the,
woods AND i start hearing. Movement i'm hearing a couple

of those faint. Whistles i'm hearing. Movement it sounds like bipedal,
walking but it doesn't sound, really it's not making a
whole lot of. Noise at this, point AND i hear
this weird. Sound i've described it a couple of times
on other shows and my. Own it almost sounded like
if you go out into a creek and you pick

up several, large you, know like softball sized river, rocks
and you jostle them around in your. Hand that clacking
noise that they, Make that's WHAT i was. Hearing So
i'm hearing, that And i'm standing out there at this,
point fifty sixty yards from everybody, else in the middle

of the woods and pitch, dark with these weird noises,
happening AND i hear something walking from left to, right
and it's pretty. Close it sounds like it's maybe twenty
twenty five feet. Away And i'm trying to blade myself
and start walking in the direction Where i'm picking up this,
noise AND i get to what IS i call it
a game trail that's probably three four feet, wide just

a little break in the trees that didn't go very.
Far BUT i get to this, point And i'm hearing
this thing walking and it sounds like it's coming right
up on this. Trail SO i click my flashlight on
and this thing steps out onto the trail in front of,
me twenty feet, away and it crosses across the trail one. Step.
BOOM i see from the top of the head down

to about the mid, back AND i see the arms
swinging behind.

It it's a.

Big, tall, hairy bipedal. Creature AND i am flipping the f.
Out i'm, like holy, SHIT i just saw. Sasquatch SO
i go. Back i'm telling, them, hey you guys need

i kind of briefly tell him exactly WHAT i just
told you what. Happened so we just stand there and

we're just really quiet for a, second and we hear
that clacking noise, again and then we hear what sounds
Like the only WAY i could describe this is IF
i don't, know a three hundred pound person jumps six
to eight feet out of a tree and we hear

that thud on the, ground.

handicam doing his thing. Right we kind of converged together
at this. Point i'm telling them what happened something that
had crossed the trail in front of. Me it was clearly,
upright it was Clearly, harry there's.

Something in the.

WOODS i think there's at least two somethings at this
point because of where we're hearing the noises in different.
Places and the next THING i, know here's a Little.
DANIEL i hear him SAY i see eye. SHINE i

STOP i turn around and look where he's, pointing and
there is these two giant white eyes, glowing maybe twenty
feet away from. Me and THEN i see a smaller
set about two feet lower start to.

Glow So i'm seeing for WHAT i believe.

To be eyes at this point. Glowing And i've said this.
Before i've actually went back and looked at some of the,
footage since at FIRST i thought there was no ambient
light at. All After i've went back since a couple
of interviews ago and looked at the footage from this,
dock there was so ambient. Light SO i initially got

the impression that these were, glowing as in self, Illuminating
but there was ambient light. There it could have been.
Reflecting but, nonetheless there's just two sets of. Eyes and
it's hard to, Describe, shannon BUT i know you've probably
talked to people that talk about the swaying back and
forth when they see these. Creatures that's what these eyes were.

Doing they were swaying back and forth and bobbing their
heads back and, forth and then they. DISAPPEAR i got
the impression that they dropped to the. GROUND i can't
confirm that by any other than just a, feeling but
that's WHAT i felt, like that they dropped to the

ground because the eyes were. Gone both sets boom just
as quickly as they. Appeared they were. Gone so we
all throw our flashlights on at this, point and we're
shining them up this little four foot maybe five foot
why game, Trail and as soon as we turn the flashlights,
On i'm moving. Forward you can physically see me in
the video from the. Dock i'm moving ahead of everybody

else towards these eyes Because i'm trying to see what this.
Is and as soon as we turn the flashlights, on
this creature steps across the, trail almost identically to WHAT
i experienced. Before everybody else was in the woods and
feed in front of. Me this thing darts across the trail.
AGAIN i see the top of its, head the side
of its, shoulder and its arm trailing behind it as

it books it across the. Trail and immediately you can
hear this in the, Audio chris says some, Explatives oh my,
GOD i just saw it. MOVE i saw it, move
so we all see. It daniel saw, IT i saw,
It chris saw. It, Unfortunately ryan was around the side
of me filming from the, front so he didn't see,

it And, Craig daniel's dad did not see the creature
at the. Time so here comes the unexpected did part from.
Me i'm ten feet away from this thing That i've
now seen twice in about a thirty minute, span AND
i COMPLETELY i don't know what the word is IF
i blacked. OUT i don't know what, happened BUT i

just started chasing, it and this is probably seven to
ten percent, grade which doesn't sound like a. Ton but
the next time you're in the mountains and you see
a sign that, says you, know there's runaway truck ramps coming.
Up that's probably about a seven to ten percent grade
that you're going. Down it's pretty fricking. Steep and it's
pretty steep when you're running up it in, deadfall in

all this underbrush and these, briers and it was absolutely.
Insane But i'm chasing this thing as fast AS i can,
go as fast as my legs will carry. Me i'm
running up the hill and you can Hear daniel in
the background in the. Dock Run, Brian, Run, Ryan Run.
Brian And i'm chasing this thing right And ryan is
right on my tail with his. Handicam in, respect it

was probably one of the dumbest THINGS i ever, Did
BUT i don't know WHAT i was thinking in the.
Moment ALL i wanted to do was get closer and
see this thing, again SO i continue to book. It of,
course the thing is completely. Gone there was no seeing it.
Again it was completely out of. THERE i made it
up to the top of the. Ridge ryan makes it
up to the top of the ridge and he sticks

to this handicam in my, face and he's doing what
he's he's supposed to. Do he's a producer on this, thing.
Right he wants to know WHAT i, saw AND i tell,
you it was one of the most emotional Moments i've
ever had in my. LIFE i bawled like a. Baby
And ryan was, like what is this? Emotion AND i,
said you know, what, HONESTLY i feel like such an.

Asshole he's, like what are you talking?

ABOUT i, said, DUDE i have interviewed hundreds of people
for my. Show at this, Point i'm over six hundred
plus episodes into the, show and there's so many people
that told me about seeing glowing, eyes AND i thought
they were full of. SHIT i didn't think it was,
real AND i didn't believe. THEM i did not believe

that part of the. STORY i tried to explain it
with everything else under the, sun not necessarily saying they're,
lying but they're, mistaken, right because those can't. Glow it's
a flesh and blood. Creature our eyes don't. Glow we
don't even have eyeshine as human. Beings that's not something
we could. Do so this can't be, real but it

is BECAUSE i just saw, it and two other people
experienced the same THING i did at the same, time
AND i felt. HORRIBLE i was so conflicted in that
moment BECAUSE i just experienced something THAT i never in
a million years THOUGHT i would be able to. Experience
and then on top of, THAT i had this guilt

of HOW i had treated other. PEOPLE i didn't say
it to their, face BUT i felt it WHEN i interviewed.
THEM i was doing that internal eye, roll AND i
felt like such an asshole in that, moment AND i
still do even to this. Day SO i was so
conflicted with being so elated THAT i had just solved
this mystery for. Myself there was no more doubt in

my mind that these creatures were, real AND i KNEW
i had just experienced something that very few people on
earth ever get to. Experience YET i was so conflicted
because of the way THAT i had i'll, say treated
other people and their experiences BECAUSE i didn't believe, Them
and that was a tough thing for. Me BUT i
quickly got over, it AND i just rejoiced in the

fact THAT i had solved this mystery for. MYSELF i
had become AND i hate this, word BUT i had
become a knower AND i now understood what it meant
for people who had said that to me in the.
Past AND i never THOUGHT i would be able to experience,
it BUT i, did AND i experienced it with a
group of people THAT i love very, much THAT i
care very deeply. For AND i wouldn't have been on

that summit talking about that and experiencing that with anybody.
Else i'm still getting a little emotional now thinking about,
it just because of the powerful nature of the. EXPERIENCE
i had just confirmed that something that's not supposed to
exist not only, exist BUT i stood ten feet away
from it AND i chased it up a freaking hill

like an. Idiot so we, reconvened everybody sort of. Debriefed
we ended up going back down and did a really
cool moment Where ryan had this.

Was probably fourteen of us fifteen of us total at
this point that reconvened at the bottom of the.

Summit we were wrapping up the night and we did

we tried to harmonize with each other just in our
own way of it sounds kind of corny just saying
it out, loud but in the, moment it was such
a powerful moment for all of us that had just experienced,
that and even the people that were on the outside
of the, moment that had hung, back that didn't get
to see and experience what we, did it was still

a very powerful thing to sort of close that. Out
And i'm not one of those people that really thinks
that those emotions or those intentions are necessarily something that
sasquatch may pick up.

Who certainly believed, that and because of my own, EXPERIENCE
i wanted to.

really close up encounter like, that sometimes if everybody else

off if somebody stays, back you may have another, experience

maybe even closer than the one that you had. Before
and of, course what DID i, Say, YEAH i want
to do. That that sounds. Great everybody else, Leave i'm
going to stay. Back so that's what. Happened everybody, reconvened
they made their way back. Down we're probably a mile
and a, half, yeah about a mile and a half
away from the headquarters for The Olympic. Project SO i

stayed back in the dark by. Myself And i'm going
to tell you. SOMETHING i didn't stay long because as
soon as the voices drifted into the night and the
lights faded AND i couldn't see or hear anybody, ELSE
i had the most overwhelming fear dread feeling That i've

ever experienced in my, life even more so than WHAT
i experienced WHEN i was. Twelve the only THING i
can equate it to was and this is not mine.
Speak i'm not saying anything spoke to me in my.
Mind this is simply the feeling THAT i had was
that you need to be somewhere else right. Now you
do not need to be. Here SO i didn't. STAY

i made it maybe five, minutes six, minutes AND i
caught up to the group before they got back to
the headquarters down at The Olympic. Project And bubbo turns,
Around he's, like, dude what the hell you? DOING i
thought you're gonna stay up. THERE i was, like, YEAH i,
was BUT i had this feeling AND i KNEW i
needed to. GO i still to this day can't explain.

IT i don't know if it was simply the adrenaline
dump was. HAPPENING i was coming down from.

I was just freaked out BECAUSE i was replaying what
had just happened in my mind from being ten feet
away from A. SASQUATCH i don't know what it, was
BUT i did not want to be there, anymore AND

i was just ten feet away from one of these
things THAT i saw with my own, eyes And i'm

chasing it with zero fear and zero reservation all and
NOW i can't stand in the woods by myself for
ten minutes without having this overwhelming fear that literally and
figuratively pushed me down the mountain to reconvene and reconnect
with everybody who had just been. There it's. WEIRD i

can't explain it to this. DAY i don't know what that.
IS i tend to think it was more just the
physiological coming back from the adrenaline. Dump that's happened to me,
before When i've been shot at and other. Things as
a police, officer you kind of have those. Moments but,
yeah it was one of the greatest Fears i've ever,
experienced WHICH i didn't have while i was chasing this

thing up the, ridge But i'm standing there by, myself
and we went back the next day and tell, you
it is amazing that nobody broke a leg or an
ankle in the area that we. Were when you go
back in the day and you see where we all
ended up running up that, ridge it was amazing nobody
got hurt because it was some of the, thickest worst dead,

fall entangled briars and all the things That i've ever,
seen and if you've ever been in The Pacific northwest
you kind of know what those woods look. Like but,
yeah we went back to see if there was possibly
any evidence that we could see, hair might even see a.
Footprint of, course there was. Nothing it was just dead
fall and briars and those kind of, Things and funny,

enough we were actually looking for and it's still there
if anybody's listening and you want to go to that particular.
Area chris lost one of his. GoPros he had one
facing forwards and he had one on his hat that
was facing. Backwards the one that was facing backwards he lost.
It so there may be a picture of a sasquatch
picking it up and looking at. IT i don't know
if they maybe collected it as a souvenir or. What

but we never found, it nor did we find any
hair or. Footprints but, yeah that was my experience is
just last. Summer, gosh it was like this Past. August

stump off to the. Right it's a cedar, stump AND

i walk past it and something catches my. Eye it's
a bright, white bleached. Turtleshell it's turned upside down and
it stuck into the side of this cedar, stump probably
twenty feet off the. Trail WHERE i walk the dogs

at least twice a, day and it wasn't there the day.
Before SO i, said, okay that's. Weird get a turtle
crawl up there and die and somehow get bleached overnight
by the. Sun this is, weird, Right SO i go,
OVER i pick it. Up i'm, looking and the stump
IS i don't, know it's probably fourteen inches in, diameter

it's maybe a foot and a half out of the.
Ground clearly the tree was, cut probably before we bought the,
property because the tree is not even, there, right it's
just the. Stump SO i see this AND i pick it,

left those on my gifting stump. Before they'll leave a turtle.

anything for why would this just show?

AND i stick the stick in the middle of the,

i started leaving other. THINGS i would leave jars of peanut.
Butter we eat a lot of sun butter like ground
up sunflower. SEEDS i remember leaving a couple of. Jars
of those jars have disappeared. Completely the inside of the
stump is really mushy because it's so old it's. Decaying
so it wasn't hard for me to hollow out a

spot inside the inside of this stump SO i could
stick an entire jar, down so nothing but the colorful.
Lid most of the lids on the sunflower. Ground sunflower
seeds are, green like bright green or, yellow and.

photos from his recent expeditions up to The Ape canyon.

i love the true, stuff, Right BUT i always wanted
to have a story so we could get it from
The bigfoot, perspective, right because we always get it from
the human. Perspective people have an experience or they have,
opinions and they share it with us based on what
they think from the human. Perspective BUT i wanted it
to be from The. Sasquatch SO i, thought how better

to do that than to have a sasquatch born in
the first chapter of the, book which Is, coda and
you follow this sasquatch through his entire, life all the,
adventures all the different, clans how they deal with, humans
how they deal with the rogue sasquatch that's introduced in
the first couple of chapters of the, book how they

deal with, loss how they deal with. Movement AND i
thought it would be a cool way to address some
of the questions we have right the single, footprint for,
example we've all heard that how did they make just
one single? Footprint, WELL i tell you that in the.
Book they tell you that because The sasquatch do it
in the. Book SO i thought it was a cool.
Story it'd been in my brain, forever SO i, thought screw,

one and Again i'm hoping to have this second book
in that series done before the end of the year
