Jack Slater 4 is here, it's sure to be the hit movie of 1993, and Danny (Austin O'Brien) has his a ticket to be the first to see it. Only his ticket takes him inside the movie where he can be a part of the action with his on screen hero. Last Action Hero (1993) is a self-aware, meta-action, comedy film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger that challenges the action movie tropes of the late 80's and early 90's. It has so many cameos and easter eggs that only Ready Player One can beat the sheer volume of them. This week Invasion of the Remake updates Last Action Hero to modern action movie standards adding new tropes that proliferate the modern action film. Join us as we remake Last Action Hero!
