Welcome to another thill packed installment of a podcasting maxi-series called Moving Kryptonian Images: The Live Action and Animated Adventures of Superman! The purpose of this series is to celebrate the release of the new Superman film, written and directed by James Gunn and starring David Corenswet as Clark Kent/Superman, Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, and Nicholas Hoult as Lex Luthor!

MOLDED PLASTIC SEATS!

This time out Derek Russell of The Super House of El and The Siegel and Shuster Society Podcast joins me to talk about Superman III. I figured if I was going to have a Superman film that partially takes place in Smallville that I should have a podcaster and friend that has been talking about the Smallville television series since 2005. Derek and I spend most of the episode defending this film, as it usually gets a fair amount of crap amongst Superman fans. We talk about Clark in Smallville, Annette O'Toole as Lana Lang, Gus Gorman, and, of course, the junkyard scene.

Be sure to check out Derek on The Super House of El and also on The Siegel and Shuster Society Podcast with future guest Luke Bugg. Derek has been a good friend for years and a trendsetter in terms of geek related podcasts.

Feedback for It All Comes Back To Superman Series 2 can be sent to itallcomesbacktosuperman@gmail.com. At the end of this series I will be doing a feedback special going through all of the emails and comments that are left or sent!

You can subscribe to the show on Apple Podcasts/iTunes or stream it through SpotifyiHeart Radio, and Audible.

The Fortress of Baileytude Podcasting Network is on Patreon. It’s mostly a tip jar as I have no time at the moment to produce exlcusive content, but if you like the content I do produce please consider contributing a dollar a month.

The opening and closing theme to the show is titled Journey and was composed by Pontus Rufelt. It is licensed from Shockwave-Sound.

Next Time: Moving Kryptonian Images continues with Zach Moore and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace!

Join me on this podcast as I navigate the murky waters of human behavior, current events, and personal anecdotes through in-depth interviews with incredible people—all served with a generous helping of sarcasm and satire. After years as a forensic and clinical psychologist, I offer a unique interview style and a low tolerance for bullshit, quickly steering conversations toward depth and darkness. I honor the seriousness while also appreciating wit. I’m your guide through the twisted labyrinth of the human psyche, armed with dark humor and biting wit.
