Our tire troubles didn’t just provide a good story, they taught us a thing or two about car safety. After a $1,300 towing bill, we learned the hard way about the importance of having a spare tire or a tire kit, especially when venturing into remote areas. While waiting for rescue, we made the most of our time with a delightful breakfast at a health food store called the Mercantile.
