(00:00):
Welcome to the georgiy Cruz podcast season for I am so

(00:03):
excited that you are here right now whether you're watching or
listening to this show, welcome I'm beyond grateful for your
time right now. Because I want to make you
promise right now as we start season 4, and this is a big
promise for me, Health has been my obsession my passion for over
30 years, right? I started as trainer goes into

(00:26):
the world of books. Did really?
Well as a New York Times bestselling author for 25 years.
Wrote a bunch of books. It seems that people like my
books 12 on the New York Times. And if you're one of my leaders
from back in the day, welcome, if you're one of my social media
friends. Welcome, if you're a fan of zero
hunger water. Well, and if you just start this

(00:48):
tuning into this because you're interested in intermittent
fasting, keto, or you're over 50like me and you want to just get
healthy fast, that's what I've been known for, because I'll
tell you the thing all Books before was really short cuts,
the best shorts out there as Billy blast.
If you don't know my background,a give it to you in a nutshell
because I think it's relatable, I was so in the was overweight

(01:11):
for years, I was in emotional eater.
I was addicted to sugar and carbohydrates as a kid for me.
A great time is going to McDonald's having french fries.
First always getting a Big Mac. Having a nice screen.
One of those soft serves a milkshake and make me.
If I was a good boy, my parents would get One of those apple pie
crisps, you guys remember those?Oh, you're so good.

(01:34):
And then the next day I would start my day, Captain Crunch
cereal and I didn't realize how much what we ate impacted our
new idea. My parents did not understand
how that all my mother was this incredible gorgeous, film star.
That had Married, An American man, my dad, and both of them
have passed. Now, my mom much earlier than I
would have hoped for my dad justa few years ago and I can tell

(01:57):
you lost both of my parents really Maybe a lot of insight
and appreciation for health. My mom, especially she left
early. She was in her early 60s and it
made me commit to. A lot of people out there when I
knew that her life was was cut too short that I could help
others educate themselves and that was for me a big promise

(02:19):
that I made my mom. She also challenged before she
passed that I should some day. Meet Oprah Winfrey and I don't
know if I'm just a mama's boy. Or the way I was raised, but I
made that happen within a year of her passing and I tell you
the greatest gift of my life wasthat gift.
Honoring, my mom understanding that, for some reason, this

(02:41):
incredible Soul Oprah Winfrey would amplify my intentions and
I am grateful to miss Winfrey every single day.
Just listening, thank you Oprah of you.
You are incredible Force for good.
As you say, We Are Spiritual Beings having Human Experience
and because of you, I realized that more than ever now life.

(03:04):
And so as I welcome you to the show here to the podcast, I want
to tell you. This is a struggle for all of
us, whether it was me, 20, 30 years ago, as I started my
career, if it was me 30, 40 years ago, as a kid with my
feet, health is a puzzle. It's something that is not easy,

(03:25):
but it's simple and that's what we're going to do on the show.
This season 4, we are going to Call it simply fit.
We're going to make it simple and I can tell you, you're with
the right person I have dedicated my life to
interviewing and talking to the most other people out there that
have made it their life to simplify Health to find the

(03:46):
Nugget. And we are going to discover an
every episode, some incredible nuggets to maximizing Health.
If you're over 50 and if you're under 50 hey it will help to
it'll help anyone any age and it's going to Simple system of
two simple methods that really my career is come down to.
And if you think about it, what is health, right?

(04:08):
What is health? Health is, in my opinion
confidence, over how you feel, having the ability to have
radical control over things thatyou want to do in accomplish,
and not having a lot of limits. Now, as we get older, we start
to believe that's a possible anymore, we think.
Oh, I can only be strong and fit, and this unlimited energy.

(04:29):
G unlimited health, if you will,in my 20s, in my 30s.
Maybe. But my mid-30s got it, and I'm
someone now at 51 that's going to tell you, that is BS,
complete BS, and that you, no matter what your age, whether
you're in your 20s, 30s 40s, 50 like me, 51, 60s, or 70s, or

(04:51):
Beyond. We are going to be talking with
superstars this year. People like Martha Stewart who
is 81 years young? I saw her just a few weeks ago.
York phenomenal, incredible shape, gorgeous Health, we're
going to be talking about how she stays young.
We're going to be talking to people, like Zach Williams, who
is going to share, how his father, Robin Williams took his

(05:13):
life. But more importantly, his given
him a mission, mental hygiene, and how to create mental health,
through a simple system, Akin ifyou will and how to change what
we think. And so it'd be a really exciting
year because we're going to talkto incredible celebrities.
Experts experts that have becomedear friends with a doctor.
Do you guys know who she is? She's one of the intermittent

(05:35):
fasting works in the world when it comes to health when talking
to her Danica. Patrick who is incredible woman
known in our world as a as an athlete shall we say.
Car driving brahmana. And now she's starting a new
chapter in her life talk about how to start new chapters.
We're going to be talking with people that are making things
happen today. Ever, we're going to talk to his

(05:56):
over 50. I also, we can get some young
folks on here. I hope so.
But I'm excited and really the foundation of all.
This is just want to share that on today's episode.
It's just me today. We're celebs on today, it's just
me, but I want to I want you to realize there's two key parts to
this program to this podcast andit's really my ethos, it's what

(06:19):
I believe the culmination of 30.Here is a focus has led me to
believe and that is two things and I want you to hear me on
this number I call it eat. Eating fit is everything.
It's a philosophy that I learnedyears ago from Venom Jacqueline.
If you guys remember who Jack LaLanne was he was Godfather

(06:41):
this and his philosophy was simple.
It can never out train a poor diet, so we're going to lead
with nutrition. I call it eating fit.
I'm going to share with you. I think, what is the simplest
way to maximize your health? Your energy to lose weight and
that is through intermittent fasting.
Combined with keto, which means you can still eat carbs are

(07:03):
going to talk about carb swaps. We're going to talk about how to
enjoy foods that you love like pasta.
There's nothing off-limit. It's just understanding how to
turn off and really the Paradigmthat I believe is what's going
to set our show off from any other podcasts out.
There is understanding that if you want to lose weight, it's
not about weight loss. It's about Hunger control and,

(07:25):
you know, about the project thatI've started, that's launching
it into this year, called zero, Hunger water.
I'll show it if you're watching on the web, take a peek, zero
hunger. Where is going to be launching a
nationwide. It's a beverage ready to drink
and it's in give us what I call the hunger eraser.
It's simply a beverage, you drink, and it, erases your
hunger. But to get to that point, it

(07:45):
took me 30 years, it took me 30 years to understand what it
takes to turn off hunger, and it's about minerals.
It's about understanding sodium,magnesium, potassium.
And even why seen an amino acid that can help bolster?
For the body's ability to absorbthese minerals that turn off,
Phantom hunger. So we're going to learn about

(08:07):
how to turn off that Phantom homework and more importantly,
how you feel, good all day long, while you're fasting because I
think it's revolutionary weatherand whether you fast eight hours
six hours or you go really long like 20 hours, doesn't matter
it's going to help you have control.
So that's eat fit. That's really the first element
of what I would call. So for he Cruz method, right?

(08:29):
The Second key is something radical for me for me for a lot
of but I've spoken to this is not radical.
It's been a part of their life for decades.
I call it Soul fit and it's thisidea like Oprah talks about
other people. Talk about how we Are Spiritual
Beings. Having a human experience that

(08:50):
may sound a little weird. You may think, are you talking
about church here? Jorge, are you talking about
going to like church? Again, it is not a religion.
What for me sulphate is, it's about igniting within you and
energy. I call it, your spirit, oh, your
energy, your essence. It's this thing that is you and

(09:11):
yet is not you. It's this thing that was here
before your food bowl, and will be here after your physical.
And whether you believe in a godof your choosing, whoever it is,
or not, or you believe in the universe, having your back,
whatever that higher power is for you.
It's where our energy goes. And it comes back to it's

(09:31):
something that cannot destroy. Now, you may be thinking, oh my
gosh, where he Cruise, you're going a little deep here.
What have you done, all this is for me.
It's about understanding that for me.
Soul is about igniting passion. And we all have this Soul, this
energy, this passion within us and let's ignited in some way.

(09:54):
Understanding to eat is great, but you're not going to do it.
You're not going to do it. We're become something you do.
Effortlessly. And so, that is why for me, the
second really Louisville of true.
Simple Fitness is understanding, not just eating fit, but I have
a soul fit and that's where we're going to be talking to
experts that I think are in The Cutting Edge of, really.

(10:16):
How do we night that kind of energy within us?
That is going to give us not just a drive into motivation but
momentum that is critical for long-term Health happens.
Wellness and freedom. And that's what this is all
about. It's about giving us the freedom
to be our best selves every single day in our 50s 60s, 70s

(10:39):
or 80s and I'll tell you for those of you out there that
think you're a little too old and you're only 30 or 40, I got
a lot of news for you. You are going to love our
podcast because you're going to understand on this show.
How that's not true and how moreimportantly.
It's just your thoughts, it's your thoughts that determined
that ignition that ignite Of your passion in you and you can

(11:02):
use your thoughts to turn on your spirit in your soul.
You can use movement to turn on your spirit and your soul.
You can do things like prayer for sure, to turn on that
Spirit, but that's through a connection through whatever that
is for you. Whether it's a God or higher, or
or even family and friends, there is no, right?
There's no wrong but it's about standing that without that

(11:24):
spirit in that energy within youdebated and pushed forward.
To be hard to do anything in your life that we speak.
People that I hate that and not a good thing possibly.
But that talk about where I can't get out of bed in the
morning, I'm just not there. And I always think of a
conversation, I heard with Oprah.

(11:45):
That was really powerful about how when your soul your spirit
is in alignment with your purpose, you cannot be stopped
wake up excited every single dayto live your life, man.
It having that occur in your life, where your spirit is an
alignment, your purpose, then jump out of bed at 4:00 in the

(12:07):
morning. Five in the morning, you're not
going to need three or Twenty cups of coffee.
Your spirit will be lit, but we're going to talk about how to
get that Spirit lit because so many of us are not so many of
us, get stuck in a place where we get depressed, where we get
resentments that build up and westart to hate our life.

(12:29):
Life and we just others and I can tell you, you may think I've
had the perfect 30-year career. Oh no there was a midlife crisis
they're going to be talking about the season that happened
to me just over a year ago. It was during covid and how
right around turning 50. And I'm 51 I'm going to be 52
this next year. I just hit a wall, a brick wall

(12:52):
where I went through some reallyhard ships.
Both personal financial career where You would have thought the
entire Foundation of my life wascompletely destroyed and
devastated and my friends say itwas but just because that
happens, it doesn't your is over.
And for me to have come back to a place where in about a year I

(13:17):
was able to not just learn but take what happened?
This weight that was given to meand utilize it to become
stronger. And if anything more Vibrance
and more compassionate for others, that struggle.
Because I used to think it's allcome on, this is so easy.

(13:37):
But there are things in life that are tough.
And so we're going to be talkingabout these hard things and how
to come back from places that are tough, whether that is
losing a parent which I did during covid.
My dad losing family members that are part of that energy
that when someone passes, you know, that is.
Sometimes you don't hear from other family members anymore,
ever reasons cream. Being issues.

(13:59):
A lot of that stone. Your family to financial
assistance to Health crisis has to emotional crisis has to
substance abuse. We're going to talk about
everything because I've been, and I'm back.
And what I want to share with you is how you can do that too.
Whether it's a low-bottom you'vemay have hit in the last month

(14:19):
last couple of years or you're really at rock bottom.
We're going to get you out of that and where you're going to
understand how your sofa It is going to give you this
reconnection this transformationinternally and the eating fit
will just become super basic because that is easy eating fit
and understanding how to use things, like zero or water at

(14:40):
utilize, intermittent fasting, how to utilize keto going to be?
That's just easy. It's simple.
It's like setting the table. It's not that hard.
It just happens every day. The hardest part is just getting
yourself to set the table but that's what soul fits going to
do. It's going to give you the
motivation, the internal I've tofeel that passion that we need

(15:01):
in our lives to live a high quality life, will we just wake
up and we feel great. So that's season for guys, I'm
excited. So much is coming.
