(00:00):
Everyone it is. Corey Crews, welcome.
It's October the 20th, it's Thursday.
Our podcast comes out every Thursday.
So welcome to our second episodeof Season 4.
If you're following along with all our podcast, this is
episode. 161 welcome guys. I'm Jorge.
I'm the host of the show and basically, for the last 22
years, I've been a Diet author for the last 30 years of fitness
(00:23):
trainer and an age 51, I'm here to share with you.
I think the best shortcuts that I have found that are going To
get you simply fit, simply fit, meaning that you're going to
find the shortest path to getting to the best Optimal
Health ever. That's what this podcast is
here. Do as much as I loved writing
over 30 books and 12 of them arethe New York Times, that is no
(00:47):
longer. The thing that I really make a
focus. I hate to say it, but podcasting
has replaced folks, and you guysknow what I mean?
We don't have time to read, but we have time to listen.
So if you're listening to me or watching me on YouTube or
Spotify, welcome guys, I'll be here every Thursday for you.
And what I want to talk about intoday's episode is following up
on something. We talked about last Thursday
(01:07):
and that is this idea of the twosteps, the two components of,
really my method and over the last 30 years, as a trainer,
I've come up with a two-step method that I think makes
Fitness simple first key critical key, please listen to
me on this. You cannot out train a poor diet
and so I call that eating fit now, I Thought 22 years ago,
(01:31):
when I was still just a trainer and before I wrote my first book
that you really could out train a poor diet.
I wrote a book called eight minutes in the morning.
Great books, still great to thisday.
Came out in 2001, became a number one, New York Times
bestselling diet book or Fitnessbook I should say.
And I love that book and meant millions of you guys did to come
out in 16 languages. I think there were four million
(01:52):
copies sold initially and it went on and on love that book to
this day, right? I love seeing how I look 21
years ago and all that, but here, I'll tell you what I have
learned since then is that trulyyou can make the greatest shift
in your health, not at the gym, not an eight minutes, not even
an hour. It's understanding that you
(02:14):
cannot out train a poor diet andthat Fitness begins in the
kitchen. That is the punch line on the
say it again. Fitness begins in the kitchen.
That is step one to my method. All right.
Not understand that and this is something that for me has been a
lifetime of learning. And as much as I love,
(02:35):
exercising is good for mental health and it's good to bring
out an energy in US, almost likea dopamine.
Hi, we're going to talk about that in Step 2, but Step One is
Diet nutrition. It's about what we eat.
And it's also about intermittentfasting and something known as
ketosis or ketogenic diet. And the combination of a Time
restricted, eating would have known as intermittent fasting
(02:57):
combined with the ketogenic diet, which is high.
Team high-fat low-carbohydrate is the key to it all.
Now, the greatest thing I'm going to share with you this
season, guys is about zero hunger water, because that's
something you drink during your fasting window to turn off
hunger. And if you can do that, you can
fast for up to 20 hours, some ofmy clients Go 23 hours and they
(03:19):
give themselves an hour. T.i. take four hours to eat.
So I can have my dinner and thenI can have some treats
afterwards. I do have a sweet tooth.
I always did and still do but the zero hunger.
Our water wells, that hunger andcravings for sugar, literally
turns off hunger. Think of it as a hunger eraser
or the hunger eraser, that's what zero hunger water isn't.
(03:40):
If you haven't heard about it, make sure to go to zero hunger
water.com the learn more sign upfor our email list.
It's coming out at the end of this year Nationwide available
direct to you in ready to drink cans.
It's going to be awesome. There's 16 oz, tallboys, you
drink. One of those.
You are set for 2 to 3 hours, you keep drinking them
throughout the day until you're ready to eat.
So we're going to be talking about water.
(04:00):
Zero hunger water. When you talking about what to
eat, we're going to be talking how to take care of your
nutrition and how to customize it based on what you want in
your life. A lot of you may want more
plant-based nutrition, some of you will want more protein based
nutrition. We're going to talk about all
those topics, not just with myself, but with some of the
leading experts in this field and I'm thrilled to announce all
(04:20):
that soon. Then on the other side of eating
fit is something that I'm thrilled to share with you for
the first time ever. I call it Soul fit, and that is
my story. Virtual practice to create an
energy within me. That is not religious in any way
at all, but it's an energy that I believe is the reason we get
focused and directed and at times are able to do incredible
(04:43):
things. Now if you're in a stage of your
life where you lack that passion, you lack that spark,
you're going to love sulphate because what sulphate is going
to do, it's going to give our inner energy, the ability
through different types of modalities and A lot of people
think it's just prayer but I'll have prayers great.
But so we're at formations and they don't have to be spiritual
(05:05):
and I don't have to be to God orwhoever your higher power is
they can be to a certain type ofremembrance and energy within
you that maybe already there. And I think the key to it is
understanding that by doing this, you're going to create a
practice that gives you this passion, this energy within you.
That is incredible. And that's the thing that will
(05:26):
get you through hard times. Now, you're also going to
discover that Movement can create this kind of energy
within us this Soulful when yourendorphins and dopamine levels.
Go high in serotonin go high youliterally are high sense of a
positive vibration in your inside which gives you Direction
it gives you power. It gives you unlimited power and
(05:49):
we're going to talk about how totap into that and how to make
that grow each and every day. So the issues that we may have
in front of us, words, do I eat the bread?
Do I eat the cake? Do I eat this?
28 that or do I wait? It becomes something.
So, effortless, that you can do it anytime.
So, that's what we're going to talk about on this show.
I talked about it briefly last week, please check out last
(06:09):
episode of, but I will say this on today's show.
What I want to do is ask you a call to action to share with me,
your top, eat fit question. If you can do that I'm going to
go through them all this week. Next week, we have a show more
about what I call it Soul fit but it's going to be with a
guest, a really great man. Is aim is Zach Williams.
He's now dead. Skated as life entirely to
(06:31):
mental health, and Zach is goingto share with us.
His mental, hygiene kit on how to really create a sense of calm
and serenity in our lives. Even though we may be going
through trauma or tough times. Now, this is the man whose
father was the well-known film actor.
Robin Williams and did over 88 films and took his life.
Unfortunately, about eight yearsago, and his son Zack will be
(06:54):
telling that story sharing with how he got through that.
And what has given him a sense. Of of meaning and the meaning
for him has become really makingmental health, a big deal and he
is a big deal. So I'm thrilled to have him as
our first big celebrity on the show next week.
It'll be great guys. So with that said let me give
(07:14):
you my email which is Jorge, jorge13 Jorge, jorge13, CR you
is e.com. Shoot me an e-mail, they're
putting the subject podcast question and put in your
question and give me a way to get a hold of you.

(07:36):
