Ankita Dhakar moved to New Zealand from India in 2015 to study business and a few years later saw a gap in the market to create a company that provided affordable cybersecurity services for SMEs.
So she launched SecurityLit in 2020 and since then has built a team of nine, with a growing pool of local and international clients.
She's here to talk to us about her personal journey towards becoming a business owner and shares with us her qualities which have led her to become recognised as an ICT entrepreneur.
She moved from Auckland to the Waikato in 2020 and says her dream is to see the Waikato become the Silicon Valley of New Zealand.
