"We remember that our essence is Wise, Wild and Free!" (Qoya)

One thing I've learned over the past few years is that freedom, security, play, and relaxation are  necessary to a good life. When I first attended a Qoya class, I was astounded to see that these principles are central to its philosophy.

My guest today is Jessi Fiske, leader of Qoya-inspired Movement. She's also an organic farmer, business owner, and herbalist. Qoya is a movement founded by Rochelle Schieck in 2009. Learn more about the classes and the philosophy here.

Jessi reminds us that embodiment does not necessarily feel good for everyone all the time, especially when you’ve been disconnected or in pain for a long time. If you’ve neglected your body or just the mind-body connection, feeling all of those parts when you have ignored them for so long can be painful.

Jessi has a lot of wonderful advice for staying in touch and supporting your body and getting into a space where it feels safe to move your body in dance, and connect to the intuitive essence of being wise, wild, and free!
