On today’s show, Kathleen talks about the purpose of her program and why parenting can be so difficult. She also talks about the things that make parenting challenging.
ABOUT KATHLEEN
Being adopted at three months old, Kathleen never felt a sense of belonging. No matter what she did, she never felt good enough for her “parents.” It was a feeling that followed her throughout life, a constant reminder that she was the black sheep in her own family.
Despite the challenges Kathleen faced, she learned to be strong. After all, living in a crib for the first three months of your life is no way to start out. As she grew older, she realized that she didn’t want any child to feel the way she did — like they didn’t belong or weren’t good enough. That is when her lightbulb moment struck — she decided to create programs for busy parents to help them navigate the challenges of raising children and to teach them about the importance of strength and resilience. By sharing her own experiences and knowledge, she hopes to make a positive impact on the lives of children and families in her community.

Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
