In this episode of the Millionaire Mindcast, we have a remarkable guest, Cody Sperber who shares knowledge about wrap-around mortgage, how to build marketing stamina, and not be distracted with so many marketing messages, tips on how to build a massive brand, and how to build wealth in real estate investing!
Cody Sperber aka the “Clever Investor” is a serial killer entrepreneur, author, philanthropist, real estate investor and mentor, founder and CEO of Clever Investor, the real education software company that provides real estate investing education and software applications to investors, and co-founder of the 100 million Academy, an educational platform for entrepreneurs who want to sharpen their entrepreneurial skills.
Clever Investor was named by INC. 5000 as the #648 fastest growing company (2015), and #685th fastest-growing company (2016). Also, received honors as the #15 Top Education Companies, #17 Top Phoenix Companies, #18 Top AZ Companies, by AZcentral.com as the Top Company to Work for In Arizona (2017), and BEST CEOs by Comparably (2017).
Cody didn’t come from a rich family and his parents were hard worker individuals. When he was young, he wanted to be a 9th-grade history teacher or marine biologist. In high school, he always got in trouble and fights. Cody didn't know what he wanted to do, therefore, decided to follow in his father's footsteps and joined the U.S. Navy.
Later, Cody turned into a real estate investor. But it was a challenging journey for him. The momentum fades away when having no deal within 9 months. Fortunately, he found the right mentor who teaches him a lot about real estate and fills in all the missing information. Cody acquired knowledge to increase his skills and capability. He learned the language of real estate and the psychology of dealing with people. With wholesaling, Cody became a millionaire at 28, and multi-millionaire at 30 years old.
Authenticity and enthusiasm has really helped him succeed in his real estate career. Therefore, he emphasized stop trying to be something you’re not and be authentic. Cody believes that authentic people attract results, good relationships, and build a good rapport. Furthermore, people will respect, listen, and connect to you more with your simplicity and authenticity.
Cody became clever and nerd in marketing and branding, and how he structures deals. As he figured out how to master the money game, he started losing the excitement of earning more money and buying stuff. Currently, aside from spending more time and experience with his wife and children, and as a man with a good heart, Cody pursues his passion for animal conservation and working with kids.
He found ways to realize his ambition to be with kids, influence, and impact them. This is through running and funding charities for underprivileged kids, tutoring them, giving school supplies, and helping them develop their ability to play sports!

Ruthie's Table 4
For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
