In the latest episode of "Misadventures with Kiki and Cowboy," our duo recounts their battle with COVID-19, which swept through their household like a tumbleweed in a windstorm. Cowboy was the first to succumb, and Kiki followed suit, extending her stay in the realm of coughs and sneezes for a solid three weeks. Kiki opens the show by prompting a riddle about how to detect their adult children's presence in the home — hint: it involves mysteriously activated lights and a Roomba perpetually stranded in the hallway.
The conversation takes an entertaining turn as Cowboy and Kiki reminisce about their recent and not so recent tandem biking escapades. The bike, which they initially thought would be a joyful, bonding experience, turned out to be a test of patience and coordination. The mismatched size of the bike and the awkwardness of communication while riding led to more frustration than fun. Cowboy likened steering the bike to handling a blimp, much to the offense of blimps everywhere, while Kiki lamented the lack of conversation and the comically arduous braking process. Their failed tandem biking experiment has now prompted them to humorously brainstorm ad ideas for selling the bike, with one of their pitches suggesting it as the perfect gift for anyone plagued by a stalker — ensuring the stalker will never keep up.
As the episode winds down, the pair humorously debates the pros and cons of their Apple TV screensaver guessing game, which took a turn when Cowboy discovered a way to reveal the actual locations by lightly touching the remote. While this discovery has technically "ruined" their game, it has also opened up a new layer of fun as they now guess before confirming their suspicions. With plenty of laughs and banter, Cowboy and Kiki prove that even the most mundane topics, like a malfunctioning robot vacuum or an unwinnable game, can be turned into a delightful misadventure.
