When she became physically ill as a result of the chronic stress of abuse, she felt a responsibility to create awareness about the effects of abuse on the mind and body.
Educated in journalism and psychology from DePaul University, Dana Diaz’s lifelong experience with abuse makes her an expert in the mental and physical struggles of victims and survivors alike.
