Come sempre, apriamo la puntata passando in rassegna alcune delle notizie più importanti della settimana. Il primo argomento sarà la storica elezione del primo papa americano. A seguire ci occuperemo dell’opportunità offerta ai Paesi europei di accogliere scienziati statunitensi il cui lavoro è minacciato dai tagli ai finanziamenti per la ricerca voluti da Trump. Nella sezione dedicata alla scienza, parleremo di uno studio sugli storni superbi africani, che sembrano instaurare legami simili all’amicizia. E infine, analizzeremo il dilemma affrontato da una città ucraina nel cercare di conciliare il proprio patrimonio multiculturale con una nuova legge di decolonizzazione volta a rimuovere i simboli dell’imperialismo russo.
Nella seconda parte del programma ci concentreremo sulla lingua e la cultura italiana.
