Ritesh says the boardroom drama at OpenAI heightens the need for substantive action to ensure safe, trustworthy AI.

"If you start going too far ahead without having checks and balances in place, that causes problems. And I think that seems to be the big issue around this is, yes, AI is a new arms race, but what protection mechanisms and safeguards need to be put in place? Or are we putting the cart before the horse?"
