They discuss preparing front-line nurse leaders for success, based on Lowell’s recent training of over one hundred leaders in an academic medical center. Through the training, he highlighted that in order to succeed, leaders must be aware of their actions and behavior in the workplace, take accountability (delegate and follow up on tasks), and have crucial conversations with team members.
